Chapter 36: Feeling Pain

Zoe subconsciously stood in front of Neil's house, thinking that she would never return to this place but finally returned. The lights in the yard and the house were still on, indicating that Neil hadn't gone to sleep. There is a wreath on the door, it was last Christmas that Zoe made this wreath to hang on the door, then Neil didn't let him take it down because he said it was his work, he wanted to keep it. it and hang it until Christmas next year and then get pregnant with a new garland made by himself. Zoe watched as the wreath on the door faded, the flowers and branches had long withered, but its owner had no intention of leaving.

Zoe forbids a silk flower stem with a necklace wrapped around the wreath hanging on the door. He hesitated for a moment, then finally put the necklace around his neck and stuffed the silk flower into his chest as if it was the only memento he had from Neil.
