Chapter 60: Final Part 5

Inside the mountain shrouded in a thick, black fog, Lucas grunted in annoyance as he navigated his way through the dead trees. The stench of decay filled the air, making it difficult to breathe. He could see corpses littering the ground, half-buried in the dirt.

"Great, just what I needed," Lucas muttered to himself, suspecting that this trip would be more troublesome than he had initially thought.

As he drove forward, he noticed something strange about the ground. It seemed to be pulsing with a dark energy. Lucas decided to take a risk and jumped on top of a pile of dead wood, using it as a makeshift bridge.

Sure enough, as he made his way further into the mountain, the strange feeling intensified. Even though Lucas was already incredibly strong, he could feel the power of the artifact that affected this mountain. It was much stronger than anything he had ever encountered before except the Dragon Hearth.

Lucas jumped from tree to tree, trying to get a better view of his surroundings.
