Chapter 1: Lottery
In the dimly lit corner of the city, Lucas shivered as he walked towards the small store that sold lottery tickets. He had been passing by this store for years, but tonight, something felt different. The young woman behind the counter greeted him with a warm smile, and Lucas couldn't help but feel a sense of familiarity.
"Hey Lucas, how's it going?" she asked, as she began to ring up his purchase.
"Not too bad, just a little cold," he replied, rubbing his hands together for warmth.
"Well, maybe this will warm you up," she said, gesturing towards the new lottery entry with a prize of one million dollars.
Lucas raised an eyebrow. "One million dollars, huh? I've never won the lottery before, but I guess it's worth a shot."
He bought several tickets and began to rub them, one by one. As he stared at the first three, he felt a sense of disappointment wash over him. None of them were winners. He sighed and thought that maybe his luck with the lottery just wasn't meant to be.
"Tough luck, Lucas," the woman said, as she handed him his change.
But something inside him told him to try again. He bought one more ticket and rubbed it with all his might. As he stared at the numbers, he couldn't believe his eyes. They matched the numbers on the television screen near the cash register. He had won one million dollars.
"Holy crap," he muttered under his breath, as he stared at the ticket in disbelief.
The woman behind the counter gasped. "Lucas, is that...is that the winning ticket?"
He nodded, still in shock. "I can't believe it. I actually won."
She let out a squeal of excitement and hugged him. "Congratulations, Lucas! This is amazing!"
Lucas couldn't help but smile. He had always been lucky in life, but this was something else entirely. He thanked the woman and rushed outside to his motorcycle. As he started the engine, he couldn't help but think about all the possibilities that lay ahead.
"I can finally pay off my debts, travel the world, and maybe even start my own business,".
Lucas rode his motorcycle to the lottery winners' exchange, feeling a sense of excitement and disbelief. He couldn't believe that he had actually won one million dollars. But as he rode, his premonition suddenly became bad. He looked around several times as if someone was lurking. Lucas thought he was going to be robbed, but no one was there.
"What's going on?" Lucas muttered to himself. "Why do I feel like something bad is going to happen?"
Suddenly, Lucas felt a pain in his chest. It was burning, and he lost his balance. The bike crashed and Lucas was knocked off his feet. The bike caught fire and after that, it exploded. Unfortunately, Lucas was in a deserted place at this time. Lucas whimpered, not wanting to die. He gripped his lottery ticket tightly, as if it was his only hope.
"Please, someone help me," Lucas cried out, but there was no one around to hear him.
Lucas was short of breath and his vision was blurry. He crawled away from the road, but it was too late. A car was traveling at high speed and Lucas was hit. Lucas was thrown to the ground and for a moment, he lost consciousness.
It was truly a tragic end for Lucas. A man who was always lucky in life, but died after buying the lottery.
When Lucas woke up, he was in another place. He saw a strange lake with a mystical aura. The water was a deep blue, and it seemed to be glowing. Lucas couldn't believe what he was seeing.
"Where am I?" Lucas asked, looking around in confusion. "What happened to me?"
As Lucas sat up, he noticed a fragrant aroma in the air. It was sweet and intoxicating, and it seemed to be coming from the lake. Lucas couldn't resist the urge to get closer. He stood up and walked towards the water, feeling a sense of peace and tranquility wash over him.
"This is incredible," Lucas whispered, gazing at the lake in awe. "I've never seen anything like it."
Lucas was standing at the edge of the lake, feeling grateful and at peace, when suddenly a woman appeared behind him and hugged him. Lucas was startled and turned around to see who it was.
"Who are you?" Lucas asked, trying to pull away from the woman's embrace.
"I'm someone who wants to help you," the woman said, smiling at Lucas. "I hope you will enjoy a lucky life after this."
Lucas didn't understand what the woman meant. He looked at her, trying to figure out who she was. She was wearing a long white robe and her hair was the color of gold. She had a kind and gentle face, but there was something mysterious about her.
"What do you mean by that?" Lucas asked, feeling confused.
The woman didn't answer. Instead, she snapped her fingers and a hologram appeared in front of Lucas. Two skills were written on the hologram, one was Black Ice and the other was Random Luck.
"What is this?" Lucas asked, looking at the hologram in amazement.
"These are the skills that I have given you," the woman said. "Black Ice will allow you to control the elements, and Random Luck will give you extraordinary luck."
Lucas was stunned. He couldn't believe what he was hearing. He looked at the woman, trying to understand what was happening.
"Why are you giving me these skills?" Lucas asked.
The woman hesitated for a moment, then she said, "I was forced to kill you before because I needed your extraordinary luck. But now, I have compensated for your life and I want you to live a second time in your world."
Lucas was shocked. He couldn't believe what he was hearing. He looked at the woman, trying to understand who she was.
"Are you a God?" Lucas asked, feeling awestruck.
The woman just smiled and snapped her fingers again. Lucas was suddenly pulled into darkness.
When Lucas woke up, he was lying in a stable. He looked around, trying to figure out where he was.
Lucas sat up, feeling dizzy and disoriented. He tried to remember what had happened, but it was all a blur. He remembered the woman and the hologram, but it seemed like a dream.
"Am I in another world?" Lucas whispered to himself in wonder.
