Chapter 146: Frustration

“A mercy kill?!” Mon’Ter shouted at the king with a scowl. “So you just killed them?!”

“I did, yes,” Agathon turned back to Mon’Ter to show his conviction, he’d furrowed his brows and wrinkled his brow. “I do not regret that decision, no matter how much I wish there was another way out of it!” the king grit his teeth hard, sharply in taking another breath before speaking again. “The sad truth is simply that there wasn’t. You are either able to overcome this addiction to magic power or you cannot! There are no in betweens when it comes to this, Mon’Ter!”

The chimera clicked his tongue and marched to the wall on the side; he raised his fist and punched through it in rage as he roared. “DAMN IT!” his fist caused the wall to collapse and dust to flow into the air, more than a dozen rooms got destroyed in the process of the shock wave which ensued from his fist’s velocity.
