Chapter Hundred and twenty-six

Norah stood outside the prison facility, frustration drawn across her features. Determined to speak with Arnold Adams alone, she turned to the bodyguard at her side, "Wait outside. I'll talk to Arnold myself.”

The bodyguard, unmoved, shook his head. “I’m sorry, ma’am, but my orders are to follow you everywhere. It’s for your safety.”

Norah, unbelieving, tried to reason with him. “This is a prison, not a war zone. I need to do this alone, please.”

The bodyguard, apologetic yet serious, replied, “I understand, but your husband insisted on this, and I have to do my job, ma’am.”

Determination across her face, she turned to the bodyguard by her side. “I appreciate that, but I need to talk to Arnold alone. Please wait outside.”

The bodyguard, firm in his duty, shook his head. “I’m sorry, Mrs. Griffins. Your husband instructed me to accompany you inside and everywhere, no matter what you say. I can’t deviate from my orders.”
