Chapter 124: Dumbass

Even though Kevin was trying his best to hide the fact that he have more than one magic, Max had a hunch that Kevin was the one making the beasts he summoned to act waywardly towards him.

"Kevin, I know you have a hand in stopping the beasts from obeying my order, I urge you to stop. It is cheating, not a fair fight." Max groaned as he slowly lifted himself off the ground where Kevin pushed him to.

His hair had became rough from the lightning shock and his swollen eyes wandered around like the eyes of a zombie. But he was slowly healing and recovering back to normal.

His swollen eyes turned normal but his hair did not, so Max just used his hand to adjust it and then sighed deeply.

"You think you've won right?" Max snickered. "Do you know I can summon more beasts to attack you? And that whatever thing you're using to make them go wayward won't work on them." Max taunted Kevin.

"I can't believe you're such a dumbass. I thought you were some smart guy that will be able to figure out that he may meet with death at this next stage.

After listening to all Max had to say, Kevin laughed amusingly at his word and then open up to speak.

"You think you can fool me with you words? Even if you summon the beast here that doesn't mean I can't defeat both you and the beast." Kevin said.

*Scoffs...

Max scoffed at Kevin's answers and had immediately summoned a beast standing in front of him. It was the same bee like beast, but before it could even acknowledge that he was in a different location, Kevin used his summoning ability to take the beast back to where it came from.

Immediately, the beast disappeared and before Max could realize it, Kevin was already heading his way with his lightning magic.

*Strike....

Max was sent flying toward the end of the hall, closer to the door exiting, far from the front where Sophia and Pretta stood at.

Kevin didn't stop as he chased after Max and stopped him from flying farther.

"Get ready for a beating Max." Kevin said with a smile, glancing at the eye lids of Max that were half closed, half opened.

Grabbing him by the collar, Kevin punched Max's face, kicked him in the stomach and face before ending it with an elbow hit on the head.

"Who's the dumbass now? You motherfucker." Kevin said as he walked a few distance away from Max but he felt someone grabbed his legs.

He turned to look at what it was and saw that it was an Alien type of beast. But the craziest part is that, this Alien beast wasn't summoned but was created using a spell, so it is more like a fighting spell. And this kind of thing can only be done by a strong witch or wizard with an extraordinary great spell skills.

"You're not giving me any quest?" Kevin wondered but then he realized that the system only gives him quest when he's to face or was facing something so stronger and impossible to defeat.

But based on what the system displayed to him, it must mean that he can defeat Sophia if the two happened to fight each other in a one on one match.

That is not the real concern right now, Kevin was wondering why Sophia was helping Max. This is cheating but she was able to hide it from the eyes of everyone that she made a beast appear using her spell. And because of Kevin's special personality, he was able to sense this and even the system confirmed that Sophia was cheating.

'What is this woman doing? This is cheating.' Kevin said.

'Oh yes, I know that. But unfortunately, we're the only ones who could see that. No one else. You need to defeat her and end your match with Max or she'll keep on creating more spells to make you lose to Max.' The A1 system said.

'If she really wanted me to lose but want Max to win, that means she must have a close relationship with him. Are they friends or what?'

'She's his mother.' The System said.

'No, Jeri is her daughter. How can she... Ohh!" Kevin finally came to think of it. "Of course she's Max mother and that makes Max, Jeri's brother. That means, he must have the Triling ring with him.' Kevin came to an assumption as he turned to look at Max and saw the ring in his hands.

'Kevin, focus on defeating this Alien first, it may look cool to the face but it's more stronger than you think. Do not underestimate its powers. It can take on everyone in the hall, so I'll advise you to use maybe the pendant to do something to it. Maybe try to talk to it and see if it could get out of here. You need to do something before it kills you.'

'That's a great idea but I'm not sure the pendant would do anything. Since it's not a real beast but rather a beast made with spell, it may not be able to talk and would only have half of its power. I will try using the pendant but if it doesn't works, I'll have to use another method to get rid of the Alien.'

'Okay, do it your way.' The A1 finally gave in. He forgot for a minute that Kevin had an idea about things like this.

He came across this type of beast in one of the disciples' books and learnt of their weakness. He would use its weaknesses to defeat it. And that includes; locking it in a pitch black room.
