Chapter 212 - Finishing the Sub-Mission

After a while of persuasion, the six men finally kept quiet and gazed at James with eyes filled to the brim with animosity and distrust.

Although James saw this, he couldn’t do anything apart from sighing helplessly in his mind.

“Guys, I know that you've experienced a lot of hellish days in the chief's abode,” he began quietly.

“I also know that because of these experiences and reason, you definitely wouldn't want to trust anybody again in your lives.”

The instant they heard this, their eyes stung them, but unfortunately for James, this doesn’t make the animosity in the six men's eyes reduce in the slightest bit.

Having not expected much, James continued gently and unhurriedly.

“If I were in your shoes, I definitely would be furious more than you just did, so I understand you all, and I definitely can promise you that I meant not in the slightest what you all thought.”

Hearing this, the deep animosity in their eyes finally lowered a bit, but it doesn’t disappear.
