A year and six months went by, and Sixt had gotten used to prison life. Now, he was at the toilet, scrubbing the hard stain on the floor.

“Hey, let me help you, you have a visitor.” Michael, a middle-aged man to Sixt as he walked in.

"Grey?" Sixt left immediately he got his answer, then he came face to face with his friend.

“Hey, buddy.”

“What brings you here?” Sixt asked, “Did you check on my wife today?”

Grey sighed, “Why don't you worry about getting out of here first?”

“It's only two more years left. I can do it.”

Grey shook his head in pity. He has tried everything possible to get his dear friend out if this smelling dump, but it seems there was a greater force behind his stay here. A force greater than the Zanes. He doubts if they Zanes were capable of keeping him here this long. The evidence against him was far too strong to get him out that easily.

“You think Sabrina would wait for two more years?” Grey cocked a brow.

“Oh, please take a seat, son.” Patrick Guidotti urged his grandson after the long heartwarming hug.It still felt surreal to Sixt as he lifted his gaze at the old man, who seemed to be in his late 60s. “Where have you been all my life if you are truly my grandfather?” Sixt asked, drinking the glass of water Mr. Fred handed to him. “You must have heard the reason I was thrown in jail. For killing someone's grandfather. Do you still want me as your grandson?” He never really felt loved. And he didn't hope to get one now. He lost everything and the world already sees him as a poor loser who ruins people's lives.Patrick placed his palm on Sixt's shoulders. “Harold didn't give birth to a murderer.”“You have no idea what happened.” Sixt looked away.“I left no stone unturned in this case. And though they were smart enough to wipe the evidence on who killed him, we know you were falsely accused.” Patrick explained. “But be rest assured that they would be found, and dealt with. But for now

Without hesitating, he quickly took the elevator next to him, and soon, he was on the first floor.‘You know where to find the answers you need.’Felicia's words flashes across his mind, then he walks out to the counter, where a young lady stood.“Hello, miss.. May I ask for the doctor who attended to the patient in ward 1119?” He politely requested for Master Zane’s doctor.“I'm afraid I can't give out that information, except you're family.” “I am family.” Sixt tells her.“Okay.” The lady said, typing on the system in front of her, “Doctor Monk, sir. That's his office.” She pointed behind Sixt.“Thank you.” Sixt said and left.He waited like every normal patient wanting to see doctor Monk, and when it got to his turn, he walked in, taking his seat.“How many I have you, sir?”Sixt cleared his throat, “Master Zane… your patient? who died a few days ago. He got in front of Sixt with a dark and deadly aura, “How dare you bring yourself! Aren't you a shameless idiot! You came to finish him off?”“No, sir.” Sixt lowered his head.He was only here to give his last respect to the old man, who he only considered as family.“The only reason I'm not pressing charges is because of the respect I have for my father! I don't wanna see your face here, so get out!” Brad spat, his eyes burning with cold fire.“Yes! Leave! We don't need your worthless act of pity!”“You've caused enough damage as it is! Isn't fleeing your best thing to do? You can do that and get out of our lives!”“What a shameless loser he is! Get out of here we don't need leechers and homewreckers around our family!” The family took turns in insulting and humiliating him. They didn't care if it was the old man's funeral, they still showed how much they hated him, and for some reasons, Sixt didn't feel bad by their actions. They were right. It was all his fault and he had no righ

Hours later, Sixt and Irene were sitting next to Sabrina's bed, looking down at her unconscious body.“Allow me to get my father involved.” Irene tells him, giving him a look of pity.“And then what? Try to prove my innocence by saying I never killed Eric? Forget it, I just want Sabrina and the old man back on their feet before anything else.” Sixt brushed it off.“I'm sorry I got you involved in this, Sixt.” She placed her hands on his shoulder, “If it weren't for me, Sabrina would never have been kidnapped and the old man would never…”“The deed has been done. There's no room for regret, Irene.” Sixt interrupts her.“Sixt, I'm leaving the country.” She finally broke it to him.“Wow, that's wonderful. I'm happy for you.” Irene could sense the dryness in his words. “I told my father about my security and he wants me far away from here.” She explained. She just didn't wanna get involved in the Gibson's mess. If Sabrina could be in this horrible state for something she had no idea of,

Master Zane dropped his glass of water, sitting up, ready to talk to Sixt. He should have never lashed out at the poor guy. He regrets his actions and it's only right that he asks for his forgiveness. Thinking about it, it makes him hate himself for shouting angrily like that. There was no reason to justify his anger. It couldn't lie, seeing his granddaughter helpless fueled his pain. Coupled with what the family told him and he was in deep regret. Sixt was still family no matter what. And he shouldn't be treated less because of such mistake. “Sixt is gone!” Betty shouted from the staircase, rushing down to meet them. “Gone? What do you mean gone?” Larry stood from his seat with a surprise expression. “How could he be gone?” Ruth, the matriarch of the Zane family shifted her gaze to Betty. “He can't be gone! What do you mean he's gone?” Master creased his brows, coughing slightly. “When I got to his room, he wasn't there, and I saw the wardrobe wide open.” She paused, loo

He lowered his head as the whole room fell dead silent. He bit his lower lip, blinking back the tears that threatened to fall from his eyes. If only he never went to the hotel that day. If only Eric didn't push him… if only Eric was never dead…. If only… He wasn't with Grey when Coral and his people arrived! Now he was left to carry the weight of what transpired that night… Since he got here, he had seen the old man angry and lashing at his grandchildren, but he had never seen him boiling with so much rage. His words pierced Sixt's heart a thousand times but he knew the old man was angry that his granddaughter's life was currently on the line. Sixt sighed painfully as he heard the door slamming hard against the wall. When he raised his head, his eyes scanned the place and there was no one left other than Larry, who was slowly walking over to him. Larry stood close to him with a rather calm demeanor. “Sixt, we both know we've never been on good terms since you walked in that doo

Master Zane tapped his feet impatiently as he glared continuously at his watch. He had a huge frown on his face, and this got Larry smiling. He didn't need to do too much, Rebecca and the rest of the family already worked in his favour, and they were all eager to get news from the police since Sixt was yet to return. Just then, the door pushed open, and everyone immediately raised their heads. “Omg! Sixt!” “Oh, Sabrina! My dear!” Rebecca was quick to go over to Sixt, who had Sabrina in his hands. “Where did he find her? My goodness!” Luna's mouth widened. Master Zane stood from his seat with a worried look, and Brad also. He hasn't been able to think straight since he got back from the police station and there was no reasonable result from their search. “Oh, what did they do to you, my dear?” Rebecca cried, as Sixt placed Sabrina's unconscious body on the couch. “Call Solomon! Call the doctor! Fast!” Master Zane ordered impatiently. “She's burning with fever! Give me
