“…I insist, son… just see this as a way of showing appreciation for healing my granddaughter.” Master Zane remarks as Sixt tried to object the position he offered him.

“Here,” He offered him a pen, urging him to sign the papers.

After a brief moment, Sixt sighed, “I’ll pay you back. Even if it’s the last thing I do.”

Master Zane nodded with a smile, and just as Sixt was done signing the papers, he went back to his room to freshen up for work.

Master Zane was on his way to his car when he heard Larry, his grandson’s voice.

“Grandpa! Wait! Grandpa!” Larry called as he got in front of his grandfather, “I just got an email. Gate hotels has a new president? And it's that loser you found in the streets?” He barked angrily at him.

“Hey, watch your tone! That's Sabrina's husband!” Master Zane frowned slightly.

“I don’t give a flying fuck! You just found him yesterday and he's already the president? And I have been the vice president of White enterprise all my life? Why are you treating me like an outsider who means nothing to you?” Larry had a dissatisfied look, “I am the one related to you, not that scumbag! I deserve that more than he does!”

He had wanted to feel on top, even just a little. And when the opportunity came, it was given to an outsider?

Just then, Sixt walked out of the door, walking side by side with Sabrina.

After signing the transfer documents this morning, Master Zane had instructed Sabrina to take him to the company for a fresh new start, so the employees will get to know who their new boss is.

“Right. He's already on his say to take what belongs to me.” Larry furrowed his brows in pain.

“Snap out of it, Larry. It's just my way of supporting his family.” Master Zane tells him before turning to his car. He got in, and zoomed off before his grandson starts nagging.

“I’ll never forgive you!!” Larry barked coldly, watching the car leave.

Bruno, walked up to Larry after the old man left, “What's going on with that old lad?”

“That old fool just handed what I had been dying to have to that moron over there.” He nodded his head at Sixt who was about entering Sabrina's car.

The smile on Bruno's face faded at once.

“Didn't he just arrive last night? This is ridiculous! I also wanted that position!”

Without hesitating, Larry walked over to Sixt and Bruno walked behind him.

“I see you're all dressed and ready to grace my position. The one you yanked from my hands.” Larry's smiled tightened, his expression dark.

Sixt lowered his head, “I objected the position but grandpa Zane insisted, saying he wanted to support me.”

“Haha!” Bruno and Larry burst into laughter. “Welcome to the family, lowlife. And as for being the new owner of Gate hotel? Enjoy it. Especially while it last.” Larry shot Sixt a death glare before brushing past him like he was a lowly commoner.

Bruno scoffed, his eyes fixed on Sixt, “You don't know what part of hell you just chose. I'll play the music, while you dance to my tunes.” With that, Bruno patted Sixt's shoulders before walking away.

“Ignore them, Sixt. Grandpa chose to give you and nobody will change that. Just get in so we can leave.” Sixt heard Sabrina's voice at the driver seat.

He quietly got into the car, and as they drive, Sixt couldn't take off the words from the two brothers out if his head. What did they mean by dance to the tune they will play?

He insisted on getting a lower position, but Master refused.

He was coming from a very toxic relationship with Fiona. He has had enough hatred from Henry and his girlfriend. He really saw this marriage with Sabrina as an opportunity to live a normal life. All he wanted was to stay married to a loyal woman who loves him.

Beep! Sixt glared at his phone after hearing that sound.

{You’ve stepped on the wrong toes, and I'll make your life a living hell.}

“What's that?” Sabrina asked as she noticed Sixt's expression worsened as he glare at his phone.

“It's nothing.” Sixt waves it off, placing his phone back into his pocket.

Soon, they both arrived at Gate hotels.

Sixt sighed. Looking at the building, he wasn't sure he could bring himself to proceed with this.

“This is the company building, you may go in now.” Sabrina tells Sixt as soon as she stops her car; a few yards away from the parking lot.

“The general manager of the headquarters had already received your photographs, so you could go directly to the building to find him in person.” She spoke with a sense of urgency as if wanting Sixt to go out of her car, so she could get out of here before someone gets the wrong impression of them.

She had no intention of driving further into the company more than she already did. She didn’t want others to see she was with this man.

“Oh, and, Sixt?” Sabrina called as he opened the car door.

“Yes?”

"I think it's best if we limit how often we meet in public, just so people don't get the wrong idea."

"Miss Sabrina, I really think you've misunderstood me..."

Before Sixt could finish, a sudden, ear-piercing screech of brakes sounded from behind him. Sixt spun around to see a red SUV hurtling towards him at full speed.

He scrambled out of the way just as the vehicle smashed into the side of the road.

Bang!

“That's not good.” Sixt took a deep breath, feeling pity for the passengers as he glared at how badly damaged the car was. The side mirror and windshields were completely broken!

“Oh, goodness! Who the fuck is he!”

“The son of a bitch is trying to get us killed!”

“Oh, I'm so going to squeeze life out of that motherfucker!”

The two people in the car cussed, opening their doors and walking out with fury burning in their eyes.

Hearing those voices, Sixt raised his head at the man who walked out.

“Henry?” He muttered in disbelief. Then he shifted his gaze and was bewildered when he saw Fiona got out of the car! They were the occupants of the red car?

What are they doing here?

Seeing the look on Sixt's face, a mixture of shock and utter disgust, Sabrina asked, "What's wrong? You know them?"

Sixt sighed. "That's my ex-girlfriend. The man beside her is the boss she cheated on me with.”
