She looked at the others, waiting for more laughter, but not everyone joined in this time. Gabriel stayed quiet, and Cole had his arms crossed, watching silently. Even Savannah didn’t say anything. She was beginning to look unsure now.

“I’ve never seen someone so desperate for attention before,” Sariah went on, rolling her eyes. “It’s just sad.”

But Nolan didn’t even look at her.

Instead, he turned to the butler again. “As I was saying, I don’t have my card on me right now,” he said slowly, reaching into the side pocket of his cargo pants, “but I do have this.”

He pulled out a neat stack of hundred-dollar bills, thick and tightly bound. The butler’s eyes widened. Jett’s mouth opened slightly. Even Sariah stopped talking mid-laugh.

Nolan handed the stack of cash over to the butler with a calm expression. “That should be enough, right?” he asked simply.

The butler took the money carefully and began counting it quickly, his hands shaking slightly.

“Yes, sir,” the butler said after a mome

Savannah’s eyes narrowed as she looked him up and down.“Imagine me, Savannah, walking beside a guy like you? A guy who fakes being rich just to impress people? That would’ve been the biggest embarrassment of my life!”She looked over at Jett and smiled sweetly.“I’d rather be with someone like Jett, someone who has a real future. Even if he doesn’t have cash in hand right now, I know he’s got the kind of money that matters. Money that lasts. He comes from wealth, he has plans, and he doesn’t need to pretend.”Savannah turned back to Nolan and gave a final, cruel smirk.“But you? You’re just playing dress-up. And when the money runs out and it will, you’ll be right back where you belong. At the bottom.”She flipped her hair over her shoulder and stepped back to stand beside Jett, proud of herself, as if she had just won a prize. The group stood in silence for a moment and even the butlers nearby looked uncomfortable. All eyes were on Nolan. waiting for him to say something.Gabriel

Nobody was still moving. The twins stood frozen, eyes glued to the floor like it could give them the answers they were searching for. Dora kept chewing on her bottom lip nervously, trying to figure out what to say. Sariah folded her arms, pretending not to care, but her tense shoulders gave her away. Savannah stayed quiet too, turning her face to the side like she didn’t want to be part of this anymore.Gabriel smirked, proud of the silence. “Yeah,” he said with a soft chuckle, “That’s what I thought. All that loud talk, and now everyone’s quiet. You can talk big, but when it’s time to back it up, there’s nothing.”He turned to Nolan, smiling. “Come on, man. Let’s go enjoy that VVIP room. You earned this moment.”Nolan let out a low chuckle, clearly enjoying how the tables had turned. This was the moment he had been waiting for. The looks on their faces were enough to make his day. He turned slightly, ready to walk into the VVIP room with Gabriel and Cole.“Wait!”A loud voice stopped

Nolan let out a small laugh and shook his head like he couldn’t believe what he was hearing. He looked at all of them with amusement in his eyes, then finally said, “Why on earth should I pay for you guys?”Everyone went silent for a second, surprised by how calm he was.“That doesn’t make any sense,” he continued with a smirk. “And I will be doing no such thing. If you want to eat in the VVIP room so badly, then ask your savior…” he pointed directly at Jett “…to help you out with the payments. Isn’t he the one that said he can pay for everything?”Nolan tilted his head a little and added, “It shouldn’t be a big deal for him, right?”“Oh, please!” Dora snapped quickly, rolling her eyes and stepping forward. “You really think we want you to pay for us? Don’t flatter yourself.”She crossed her arms tightly and looked at Nolan like he was beneath her. “You must be feeling proud now, right? Thinking we’re begging you or something. Well, get over yourself. Nobody gives a damn. Because in r

“I’m not embarrassing myself,” Nolan said, meeting all of their eyes without blinking. His arms were still crossed, and a small smirk played on his lips. “All I did was ask a simple question. That’s all.”He looked directly at Jett and added, “Because let’s be honest, it doesn’t make any sense that a butler would be this confused on his first day. How does someone mess up something as basic as knowing if there’s space in the VVIP room or not? He couldn’t answer straight because you told him to lie.”Savannah’s eyes narrowed, but Nolan didn’t stop talking.“I really believe that you, Jett, couldn’t afford to pay for all of them here and instead of admitting it, you decided to lie about the rooms being full. That’s the truth, isn’t it?”Nolan’s smirk widened as he saw Jett’s face tighten. He looked like he was about to explode. He was trying so hard to act calm in front of Savannah and the others, but Nolan could see through him. His jaw was locked, and his fists were clenched at his

Do you want us to try the regular room?” Jett asked, still keeping up his fake sad act as he turned to Savannah, his arm around her waist. He gave her a small, hopeful smile, pretending like he was disappointed about the VVIP section being full. But Savannah didn’t even hide her disgust. She wrinkled her nose and muttered under her breath, “I don’t want regular. I don’t eat in basic places.”Jett gave her waist a light squeeze and leaned closer to her ear. “I know, babe. Trust me. I’ll figure something else out, okay? Just give me a few minutes.”She didn’t answer but crossed her arms and sighed heavily as she was annoyed that her perfect day was getting ruined.Just then, Nolan spoke up from their side, breaking their moment. “Are you sure the entire place is filled up?” Nolan asked. “You can’t even get one seat in the VVIP or VIP room?”The moment Nolan’s words came out from his mouth, Jett snapped at him. “Were you deaf when I was talking?” he barked, stepping forward. His face t
