It was Monday morning, and Nolan got dressed for school. He was in his final year and had been looking forward to this session for one reason, it was supposed to be the year he married Savannah. But that dream is gone now.
Since it was the first day of classes, He knew most students wouldn’t bother showing up for lectures. So instead, he decided to visit his friends at the dormitory. He didn’t live in the dorm because It was too expensive. He barely managed to pay his school f*es, so he couldn’t afford the dormitory f*e either. That’s why he came from home every day, even though it was stressful. Sometimes, when it got too hard, he slept over in his friends’ room. As he stepped into the room, the room fell silent and his friends turned to stare at him. Nolan noticed the tension and raised a brow. “What’s going on?” he asked, walking in. “You guys were clearly talking before I came in. Don’t try to lie and say it’s nothing or a secret, because that’ll only make me more curious.” He sat on the edge of the bed, waiting. “We heard about…” Cole, the youngest of the group, started to say, but Gabriel, the oldest among them, quickly smacked the back of his head. “Ow! Why did you hit me?” Cole frowned, rubbing the spot. “You need to learn when to talk and when to shut up!” Gabriel snapped. “I tell you that all the time.” “What’s wrong with talking about it now when we are still going to bring it up anyway?” Cole muttered, still pouting. “Just shut up!” Gabriel snapped, hitting him again. Cole stood up, ready to fight back, but Nolan quickly held him back. “Hey, calm down,” Nolan said, placing a hand on his chest. “Do you really think you can fight with Gabriel? He’s the toughest one here, and you know that.” “That doesn’t mean I should just let him keep hitting me,” Cole grumbled. “He thinks he can bully me every time. One day, I’ll snap.” Gabriel rolled his eyes and folded his arms. “Anyway,” Nolan said, cutting through the tension. “What’s going on? What were you trying to say before Gabriel stopped you?” Gabriel shot Cole a warning glare, but Cole ignored him and looked at Nolan. “We heard you and Savannah broke up,” Cole said flatly. “The whole class is talking about it. We were actually talking about it too before you walked in. We were wondering what happened.” Nolan blinked, surprised. “Wait, what? How did you guys even find out? That happened just two days ago!” “So it’s true?” Gabriel’s eyes widened. “You didn’t even deny it! Wow, wow. What happened between you two?” Nolan rubbed the back of his neck, clearly bothered. “I don’t get it… How did the news spread so fast?” “I thought you didn’t want us talking to him about it,” Cole added, shooting Gabriel a glare. “Now look at you, asking all the questions. Hypocrite much?” Gabriel gave Cole a side-eye. “Just shut up, Cole.” Jett started talking about it,” Cole said, avoiding Nolan’s eyes. “He said he went out with Savannah to the club, and they had a good time. He also said something else, something I don’t want to believe…” “What did he say?” Nolan asked. “Tell me. I want to know.” Cole sighed. “He said… he slept with her. She stayed at his place that night, and he dropped her off the next morning.” Nolan’s heart sank. He had tried to stay calm, but hearing those words hurt. He remembered how Savannah had looked that morning, dressed in revealing clothes. Her mom had said she was going for a walk, but her clothes said otherwise. Nolan hadn’t questioned it at the time because he was focused on trying to get Savannah not to break up with him but now it made sense. “Nolan?” Gabriel called, snapping him out of his thoughts. “Are you okay? I’ve been talking to you, but you didn’t say anything.” Nolan blinked, then forced a smile. “Yeah, I’m fine. I’m okay.” But he wasn’t. He was struggling to believe what Cole had said. “You don’t need to worry about it,” Cole said quickly. “If it’s true, then she showed you who she really is. Be glad you found out now, before the wedding. She’s not worth your time. I’m sorry this happened to you.” “Thanks, Cole,” Nolan said, letting out a deep breath. “You’re right. I shouldn’t be upset about someone who doesn’t care about me. Savannah isn’t worth it. She’s not worth my time.I deserve someone better. If she wants to be with someone else, that’s on her. It’s her loss.” Cole and Gabriel exchanged surprised looks. This wasn’t the Nolan they knew. He had always been so in love with Savannah. Now, he was speaking like he was done with her. They were both worried and surprised with his act. They had always seen him as the hopeless romantic, someone who believed in love no matter the cost. But now, he seemed almost indifferent to the situation, like he had already moved on. It was strange to see him already detached. Gabriel quickly cleared his throat. “There are a lot of better girls out there, Nolan. I know so many who are way better than Savannah. I can introduce you to one whenever you’re ready.” “Enough about all that,” Cole said, trying to change the subject. “Let’s go eat, I’m starving. Aren’t you guys hungry?” “I am,” Nolan said. “I didn’t eat before I left home, so yes, let’s get something to eat. The bill’s on me. You can eat as much as you want, Gabriel. You’re the food lover among us.” Nolan laughed. Cole and Gabriel stopped what they were doing and stared at Nolan. Did he really just say he’d pay for their food? That had never happened before. Nolan had never bought food outside. Even when they did go out, either Cole or Gabriel paid for it because Nolan couldn’t afford it. “What changed?” they thought, confused.

Chapter 151
Serena was nervous as Jett sat right on the table that Nolan was hiding under and her whole body tensed up but she tried as much as possible not to show it on her face. Jett was looking around the room slowly, his eyes moving everywhere like he was searching for something, and Serena kept her arms crossed to make it look like she was calm.“Why did you even come all the way here and not to your office?” Jett asked suddenly, his eyes still moving around. “Also, I don’t think I’ve ever been to this part of the hotel before and even when dad was still working here, I never came here.”Serena took in a deep breath again before talking. She already knew what Jett was really here for and he was only trying to drag the conversation and pretend like he came to visit because he cared about her. “Are you sure you’re not here to ask me for money? Because I can tell that you’re trying to act like you want to talk to me about something when you don’t want to. You’re here for money right ?” she as
Chapter 150
“Come on, Mum, I know you’re in there. Can you please open the door?” Jett called out as he knocked on the door again, harder than before. Both Serena and Nolan froze on the spot, their wide eyes locking on each other in panic. Serena scrambled quickly, reaching for her bra and pulling it back on with shaky hands before grabbing her dress and slipping into it in a rush, breathing heavily.Nolan, on the other hand, was pacing back and forth restlessly, his hand dragging through his hair in frustration. His heart was pounding as his mind raced, because Jett was here, and he didn’t know what to do or where to go.He couldn’t even imagine what would happen if Jett should walk in and see him with his mum like this. He couldn’t imagine what his reaction would be, or the kind of words he would find to explain himself. His throat went dry at the thought, and he turned sharply to Serena. “Why didn’t you tell me that he would be coming here!?” he snapped at her.Serena looked back at him wit
Chapter 149
Nolan continued enjoying what Serena was doing to him, letting himself sink completely into the pleasure that had been missing from his life for so long. It had been an incredibly long time since he had felt this kind of intense, consuming pleasure. Every stroke and every movement of Serena’s hands and mouth sent jolts through his body, making him lose control in the most delicious way. When he was still dating Savannah, they never had sex and their sexual life had always been about her rules, boundaries and doing whatever she wanted. His only role had been to make her feel good and to serve her pleasure, while he suffered quietly, constantly left frustrated and aching, and yet he had never dared to complain. He had endured so much without a word, but now, with Serena kneeling before him, everything changed. Her lips, tongue and the way she took him in completely was nothing like he had imagined. He moaned uncontrollably, pushing his hips harder, grinding down to meet her mouth with
Chapter 148
Nolan didn’t want to follow Serena but he still chose to because he wanted to know what exactly she wanted to show him. His legs dragged behind him as he followed her but his eyes never left her back because of how curvy she looked. It was as if she was tempting him with the way she walked sexily and he found it very hard to take his eyes off her. She didn’t say anything to him, even when he tried to ask her over and over where they were going. She only giggled, looked back at him, gave him a sly smile and continued walking. They went up the stairs, passing through the emergency exit. The place was empty and the only sound was the sound of their footsteps echoing. Nolan was already tired of climbing the stairs and tried to ask her where they were going to shaij but stopped because she suddenly stopped in front of a door. She grabbed the handle and pushed it open slowly, then she stepped aside and tilted her head toward the room with a strange smile on her lips.“Come in,” She said,
Chapter 147
Nolan let out a scoff, his eyes narrowing as he turned to look at Serena who was standing there with a smirk that annoyed him plastered on her face. His voice was low as he didn’t want people to hear what he was saying but filled with anger as he glared at her. “Did you seriously follow me all the way to the bathroom?” he demanded, his jaw tightening.Instead of answering seriously, Serena chuckled, the sound soft but irritating to Nolan’s ears. “Why do you look so angry?” she asked, tilting her head slightly with that same smirk never leaving her lips. “Are you saying you’re not happy with what I made you feel back in there? Or maybe…” she bit her bottom lip teasingly, her eyes locked on him, “…maybe you’re craving for more?”Nolan closed his eyes for a second and dragged in a deep breath as he tried to calm his temper. “I don’t understand why you’re doing this,” he gritted out through clenched teeth. Serena suddenly burst into laughter, the sound echoing through the bathroom. “You
Chapter 146
Nolan whipped his head to the side instantly to look at Serena, his eyes wide with a question he was dying to ask her because what exactly did she think she was doing? When his gaze landed on her, she didn’t even spare him a glance and was too busy laughing lightly and talking with Dave as though everything was normal and she wasn’t doing anything wrong with her hand still pressed firmly on his thigh. Her fingers began to move deliberately and dangerously close to his groin, and Nolan felt his entire body stiffen at the contact. He swallowed hard, trying to ignore it, but the more he tried to act like nothing was happening, the more daring Serena became. Her fingers slid up a little more, teasing him in a way that made it almost impossible for him to keep his composure. It was a bold move, especially here in this room filled with people who could easily notice them if they happened to look at the wrong time. “What is she trying to do?@ Nolan thought to himself in confusion, his ch
