"It's been two days now and she hasn't called."

"Why hasn't she called? If Anny is right, does it mean she hasn't decided yet what to make of me. A potential lover or kiss-fling."

I ran my palms across my face, up my head, rumpling my hair. 

"I can't just sit back and watch potential opportunities slip off my hands. I think I've tried enough. I have. If she loves me, she would call. Maybe it's been one-sided all along."

I grunted. I exhaled sharply, looking to my front as though I was seeing Jesus.
