Dennis slowly rose to his feet. Every muscle in his body screamed in pain.The electricity Alexander had released wasn't ordinary. It carried enough force to tear through muscles and leave nerves burning.Yet Dennis endured it.He spat a mouthful of blood onto the polished marble floor before wiping his lips with the back of his hand.Lilth rushed forward to stop Alexander but his cold and angry gaze was more than enough to stop her. Dennis' hand clenched in anger. He needed to do something but first he needed to get Ethan out of the room. He needed to get him somewhere safe. With a brazen face, Dennis began to walk towards the middle of the room.But then, a hand pulled him to a stop. "What do you plan on doing?" Lilth looked at her son's face and was not sure if she was staring at someone she could call her son.

Jack was about to talk when Lilith's voice cut him short. "Boys! The main event is just starting." she said with a smile. Miles eyes went straight towards his mother and then back at Jack who was grinning from ear to ear. "Don't you think we are cool for a second. Lilth pushed through the guest trying to get to her son. Miles has not been acting only strange but he had been avoiding obvious questions. Lilth had never seen him use his powers. She couldn't help but wonder why he never did. The Robertson were feared. Because Alex Robertson was not only rich but he was a powerful bender. "Miles?" Lilth called out. Her gaze scanned the room but her son was nowhere to be found. She ran her hands through her hair wondering how she was supposed to connect with him if he refused to let her in. TING!
