Stella Robinson became enthusiastic to know that she could meet Brandon there, her attitude immediately became polite because Brandon was a person she admired.

"Do you know me?" Brandon asked Stella.

Stella nodded enthusiastically, "Not only that, I really admire you!"

The unusual conversation between Brandon and Stella made Ellie and Ariana unsatisfied to see it.

"Miss Stella, why are you talking to a criminal like him? Quickly arrest him, that bastard is wild and dangerous." Ellie tried to remind Stella of the reason she called the police to come.

Stella looked at Ellie suspiciously, not believing what Ellie said because Brandon had always been an honorable figure in her eyes.

"Mrs. Ellie, what has Mr. Brandon done that you say so?"

Ellie Turner told Stella to look at Ryan's condition, "That bastard did it, he is clearly a dangerous person."

Stella frowned, Ryan was indeed in critical condition now, but that could not be used as evidence to arrest Brandon.

"Mr. Brandon, is it true that you attacked him until he ended up like this?"

Brandon nodded in agreement with Stella's question, it didn't matter if he had to deal with the police.

Stella Robinson bit her fingernails, thinking what kind of action she should take.

"Miss Stella, stop wasting more time and just arrest him! I'm here anxiously waiting for the ambulance to come for my child, while this vicious criminal is behaving without remorse." Ellie felt impatient to throw Brandon in jail.

Receiving pressure from Ellie to make a decision immediately, Stella asked Brandon to wait for her outside.

"Mr. Brandon, please wait for me outside. Leave this matter to me, I'm sure you must have a reason to act that way."

Brandon nodded in agreement, he left without caring about the many people's eyes that were directed at him.

"Miss Stella, what are you trying to do?! Why are you letting a criminal like him roam around?!" asked Ellie Turner, unhappy with Stella's decision.

Stella, who had been showing a friendly face when Brandon was there, also changed her expression to serious.

"Miss Ellie, it's better to forget all this. Stop bothering Mr. Brandon or you will suffer and regret your own stupidity."

"What? Are you now trying to defend him? What's the reason? Have you gone crazy or something?!" Ellie asked angrily.

Stella Robinson took a deep breath, she shook her head slowly and said, "Mrs. Ellie, I know Mr. Brandon very well, so please don't accuse him of anything. As for what happened here, I know Mr. Brandon is not the one who started it. So let's stop all this."

Stella's words managed to make Ellie even angrier. Ellie felt that Stella was taking sides with Brandon, something a police officer should not do in the middle of their work.

"Miss Stella, don't cross the line and just arrest that bastard Brandon. Aren't you afraid that the Turner family will spread the news that Stella, the daughter of the Allureville police chief, is negligent in her work just because she knows the perpetrator and is even pressing the victim?"

Receiving such a threat from Ellie, Stella was not afraid but felt challenged.

"Oh yeah? Go ahead and do as you wish, if the Turner family is really able to face the wrath of the Robinson family in the future."

"What?"

Ellie Turner was then silent in disbelief, Stella's words meant that the Robinson family was ready to protect Brandon in the future. This made Ellie both fearful and curious about what the relationship between Brandon and the Robinson family was.

"Miss Stella, are you really serious about what you said?" Ariana, who had been silent all this time, finally spoke.

Stella nodded her head without hesitation, she then turned around and gave orders to every police officer to follow her away.

Ellie and Ariana could only watch Stella's departure with their fists clenched tightly, they were both angry and furious. But they couldn't do anything.

The Robinson family, although not a wealthy family with businesses everywhere, still has a strong influence in Allureville. The descendants of the Robinson family from generation to generation have always succeeded in getting high positions in the government, mostly by becoming police or soldiers, and this is what makes their family cannot be underestimated by other families, including the Turner family whose influence is still lower than theirs.

"Mother, what should we do now?" asked Ariana, feeling regretful seeing her sister's condition.

"For now, there's nothing we can do. What can we do, who would have guessed that the bastard Brandon actually got support from the bitch Stella?" Ellie said, biting her lower lip.

When Ellie and Ariana had to face the fact that they had lost, outside the Turner Group, Stella and Brandon continued their conversation.

"Mr. Brandon, you can be calm now, I have managed to make them silent at least for now," Stella said, her friendly face returning when Brandon was in front of her.

Brandon nodded in satisfaction, appreciating the help Stella had given so he wanted to repay it, "Is there anything I can do to repay your kindness?"

Stella's facial expression suddenly changed, looking sad and desperate, making Brandon realize that the girl was having a problem.

"What's wrong, just say it," Brandon said shortly after noticing Stella's hesitation.

"Mr. Brandon, this is about my father. Maybe this is impolite, but can you help me check on my father's condition?" Stella asked, looking at Brandon with hope.

Brandon immediately knew the person Stella was referring to, it was the police chief and Brandon had known him for a long time.

"Then take me to see him," Brandon said briefly.

Stella immediately invited Brandon to enter the police car she was driving. Before leaving, Stella had time to order the other police officers to return to the office first and not wait for her.

Stella finally took Brandon to one of the major hospitals in the city center, it was a renowned hospital with many great doctors working there.

"Mr. Brandon, please follow me," Stella said, leading Brandon to one of the VIP rooms in the hospital.

In the room, a middle-aged man was lying helplessly. At that time, there happened to be a young doctor who had just examined his condition.

"Miss Stella, your father's condition is really bad and our hospital has not yet found a way to cure him," the young doctor said, reporting as soon as he noticed Stella's presence.

Stella nodded in understanding, "Then, please allow me to see him."

The young doctor allowed it, so Stella and Brandon could immediately see up close what was happening to the middle-aged man named Andrew Robinson.

"Mr. Brandon, how is it? Is my father's condition really serious? Can you cure him?" Stella asked anxiously.

Brandon took a deep breath without responding to Stella, Andrew's condition was really worse than he had expected.

"Miss Stella, your father has been poisoned," Brandon said, revealing his diagnosis.

When Brandon said that, the young doctor who had been there earlier happened to still be there. Which, the doctor immediately said, "Nonsense!"
