Episode 2 : Last son of Bert

" So you are the fool who had fought with Davey Juan of all people? " One of the cops asked. They are standing just beside a patrol car.

The hefty men had left Persia with the two angry cops. They regarded him with contempt all through.

After a lot of taunting, one of the cops said Persia will have to bail himself out with $50,000.

This makes the poor man to drop his jaw. Lost and miserable he had no choice but to tender the card with him.

After some assessing the cops uses the card and tosses it to him.

" Stupid! You only got half of the money here. What do you take us for? A beggar like you! "

That moment Persia received a debit alert on his cellphone. His shoulder sagged when he saw all his life savings with that of his two friends turn zero.

The cops seeing how dejected he is later chase him off.

Persia finally find a space bench where he sat on. He still couldn't believe everything that has happened.

Just then his cellphone rang out, jolting him back to reality. He picked up the call from Michael, The one who had employed him to Juans cooperation.

" What the hell have you done Persia? " The man thunder at the other end. " You dare stare into the boss's eyes and tried to hijacked his woman? "

" Mr Michael what are you saying? We all know Celia is my..."

" Shut the fuck up! " He yelled over. " I can't believe you still have the nerve to argue. Now I have called to tell you never to step foot in Juans cooperation ever again. For your information you are fired! "

The line went dead and Persia's world stop with it. What just happened?

Just in a twinkle of an eye he lost everything. He lost his job, he lost his woman, he lost his savings and he lost everything.

Lost in his sorrow and choking back an unshed tears Persia look up to see a small bar before him.

A sigh escaped his lips and he shakily made to his feet and crossed over the busy road to this little bar.

" Can I exchange this silver ring for a bottle of alcohol? " He asked the waitress over the counter.

She received the ring and inspected it for a while. After some seconds she scoffed lightly.

" No. I bet this isn't a real silver " The waitress threw the ring towards Persia but In the air a man catched it.

The movement was so Swift that Persia turn to see a man in expensive suit. His wristwatch glittering under the artificial lights and at once Persia knows he isn't just a nobody.

" I will pay for the drinks " The strange man said. He smiles at Persia and lead him to a table at the corner where they sat to await their order.

" I think the smart lady is right. This ring isn't made out of real silver you know "

" But it is bought with so much... Love " Persia replied as he watch the man fiddle with the ring he had bought specially for Celia.

" Well if the lady didn't accept it then it's her loss. I'm Garcia "

" Nice to meet you Garcia and I don't think it's Celia's loss. She is with a trillionaire now. Dump me for him actually " At that confession Persia laughed out loud dryly. Almost bitterly. " Funny but that was what happened "

The waitress come over with their drinks. After placing it on the table, she bow slightly at Garcia and Left. Persia frowning in confusion at the waitress's act but stay muted.

" I think you should hold unto the ring and Unlike it being fake I think the tattoo on your neck is original and real "

Persia stopped abruptly as he heard this. Slowly he look up at Garcia and shrugged.

After rubbing his neck for some seconds he sigh.

" I got it from childhood. Don't know how but that is the story "

" If you would be so kind, can I check on it? "

This strange request from Garcia confused him. Never had anyone taken concern on his neck tattoo. In fact everyone called him a demon because of it from childhood.

Growing up in the orphanage home Persia has to deal with some bullies all his life. Thanks to Fernando and Russell who usually comes to his rescue.

The three grew up together and finally left the orphanage home to seek greener pasture. Working as a slave all years they had managed to save up $25,000 but of course Persia had make them go bankrupt.

He surely won't be going home that night. They will kill him for sure.

" Of course. What will it hurt if you check on a meaningless neck tattoo? "

Garcia stood up at once and beckons to Archie who had been watching the two all along.

Archie brought out his telescope immediately and Persia was patient enough to make him stare Harder.

All of a sudden he noticed Archie stiffened. With a shaky hands he turn to Garcia and nodded.

Persia was quick to see the stunned expression on Garcia face. He began to panicked in awe.

" Do you know this man? Have you ever seen him? " Garcia asked, holding out his cellphone for Persia to see.

After peering at the screen closely for some minutes Persia frown in surprised.

" Uh...I have seen him twice. He visited me in the orphanage home you know. He called himself Bert and..."

" Oh no! Young Master we found you ! " Garcia exclaimed in great shock.

Persia was stunned and confused. He exchange glances from Archie to Garcia and then chuckle.

" Young master? What are you talking about? Living miserable for the last twenty one years. Working as a salesman and humiliated all days. I am dealing with heartbreak right now Garcia. I will be glad if you stop being dramatic and let's enjoy our drinks "

Persia pours himself a drink. He lifted up the glass cup to his lips but Garcia quickly stop him.

" There are many things you don't know. Everyone! Our hope has been restored! " Garcia yelled out in the bar and at once everyone whom Persia had thought was there for leisure fell on their knees before him.

Including the waitress who had attended to them. Archie goes next and Garcia knelt lastly.

To say Persia was stunned would be an understatement. He is awestricken. Slowly he stood up from his chair. His legs shaking.

" Who..who am I? "

" You are the sky, you are the peak, you are the lifeline of masses, you are the master of the universe, The last son of Bert. Young Master... you are a SEPTILLIONAIRE "
