“Who are you people?!” Bintang narrowed his eyes. Even though the three men who had knocked on his door were twice his size, he felt no fear at all. The way they looked at him—as if they wanted to devour him whole—did not faze him in the slightest.

The three men said nothing. Instead, they shoved Bintang backward. One of them quickly shut the door and locked it.

“Someone ordered us to teach you a lesson… Your name is Bintang, right?”

One of the burly men threw a punch. Yet to his shock, Bintang merely shifted his foot slightly backward, easily caught the punch with his left hand, and then slapped the man across the face in a single motion.

Slaaaap!

The eyes of the other two men widened in disbelief. Their bodies were just as big, yet with only one slap, their companion was sent flying like a piece of cotton caught in the wind.

Not only was Bintang’s movement incredibly fast, the slap left a clear mark on the man’s cheek. Two of his teeth were knocked out, causing him to collapse to the floor, writhing in pain.

“How dare you hurt our friend?! Bintang, hand over your life!”

Snapping out of their shock, the two men rushed toward Bintang and threw simultaneous punches at his face.

But an even more shocking scene followed.

The same pain their companion had suffered now struck them as well.

Slaaap! Slaaaap!

Two loud slaps landed squarely on their cheeks. It was so fast that they couldn’t even comprehend what had happened. They never expected Bintang to be a martial arts expert.

“W-who are you really?!”

“Bintang,” he replied coldly. “Before you leave, tell Doctor Tirta this—if he acts again, I will personally come and break both of his legs.”

His voice was icy, his gaze and expression utterly indifferent. The terrifying pressure made the three burly men tremble in fear.

“B-but how do you know we were sent by Doctor Tirta?!” one of them asked, forcing himself to speak.

“There are things you don’t need to know,” Bintang said calmly. “If you don’t leave this room within three seconds, it’ll be your legs that break.”

Hearing such a real and chilling threat, the three men immediately opened the door and fled from VIP Room Number One.

“Even Doctor Tirta dares to send people here to endanger my life… If it were someone else, this could have ended fatally. Unfortunately for him, he chose to provoke me.”

At least, this served as a warning for him not to interfere again.

Bintang sat down and looked at his old cellphone. Just as his eyes were about to close—

Bang!

The door was violently forced open, making his heart race. He didn’t think it was thugs or Doctor Tirta’s men again. Instead, he thought one of his masters—perhaps the War Goddess—had come to visit him.

“Mas—”

His words stopped short as his hope vanished upon seeing a group of men in black suits entering the room.

Moments later, Clara and her father rushed in.

“S-sir, are you alright?!” Clara quickly checked Bintang’s body.

“Hey, what’s wrong with you?”

“I-I rushed here with my father after hearing that three men had forced their way into your room… But where are they?”

Clara searched the entire room, but found no one. Realizing their concern, Bintang calmly pointed at the six teeth scattered across the floor.

“They’ve already left.”

Clara’s father fell silent, his gaze also fixed on the six broken teeth.

Who exactly is this young man? Facing three thugs, curing me of poison in just one night… He must have an extraordinary background, Cahyo Guana thought to himself as he cupped his fists in respect.

“Sir, I’m relieved to see you unharmed. I apologize for failing to provide higher security for the VIP room. But if I may ask—what is your name, and where do you come from?”

“Ah, just call me Bintang. As for my family… you have no right to know.”

Cahyo Guana fell silent once more. He didn’t mind Bintang’s desire to hide his identity. Instead, he took it as a sign of humility and a strong resolve to help those in need.

“Bintang… a good name. Since you cured me of the poison that plagued my body for so long, how about my daughter and I treat you to a few glasses of the most expensive wine in this hotel?”

“Hmph… fine.”

Seeing no harm in accepting, Bintang followed Cahyo Guana and Clara to a private room.

After they arrived, just as Cahyo Guana had promised, the most expensive wine in Cloud City was placed on the table.

“Drink freely. Don’t hesitate to finish it.”

Bintang nodded, poured the wine into a small glass, and drained it in one gulp. Yet he showed none of the reaction Cahyo Guana had expected.

He didn’t show even the slightest expression of pleasure while drinking the most expensive wine in Cloud City…

Bintang must truly have an intimidating background. If I can build a good relationship with him, the future of the Cahyo family might enter an unimaginable golden age…

Cahyo Guana thought as he looked at his daughter seriously.

Clara clearly understood her father’s intent. She was around the same age as Bintang—becoming his lover or even his wife wouldn’t be a loss at all. Given Bintang’s extraordinary aura, he was surely someone with a powerful background, now wandering the world to gain experience.

By the next morning—

Seeing Clara and her father completely drunk, Bintang could only shake his head. Wanting to rest, he placed two pure-white pills on the table.

“Swallow the pills on the table to relieve the effects of alcohol. I’m going back to rest.”

Without waiting for a response, he left and returned to his room. What Bintang didn’t know was that news of him saving Cahyo Wiguna’s life had spread throughout the city overnight.

“Th-that damn Bintang—where did he even come from?! How could you three get beaten so badly by him?! And how did he steal my fame as the greatest doctor in this city?! If he stays here, won’t all my grand plans be ruined by his hands?!”

Ardhana gave a faint smile.“Before I tell you my identity… how about you be honest with me first?”Kiana took a slow breath. She picked up the cup of tea and sipped it gently.“I’m just a small-time healer. By chance, I once opened a clinic in a major city of the Spirit Nation… This tea was given by a few officials whose illnesses I managed to cure. Now, what about your identity?”*Seems like she still wants to hide who she is…* Ardhana thought, then nodded.“As it happens, my mother is also a small-time healer… She somewhat follows the treatment methods of the legendary Goddess Medist of this nation.”“Y-you…”“Hahaha! It’s already late. It wouldn’t be proper for a young man like me to keep staying in the house of a girl as beautiful as you… Kiana, I’ll see you tomorrow.”Kiana’s face flushed red on its own. She could only watch as Ardhana walked away into the distance.“Uncle…” Kiana spoke softly.A middle-aged man stepped out from a hidden room.“Your Highness, if there is an orde

“Sir, you may go in now… Please choose a room according to your preference…”Ardhana nodded calmly. After selecting a room, he took out a black card and handed it to the innkeeper.“How many days will you be staying, sir?”“About a month. I want to stay temporarily in this border city.”The girl nodded and left the room to process the payment. Meanwhile, in her private office, a servant quickly stopped her.“Young miss… He has offended Rengo Kobra. If we give him lodging, I’m afraid…”“You don’t understand how powerful the Amerta Nation is. Rengo Kobra is just a thug who controls a small part of the border cities. This black card—there are only a few of them in existence. That means this masked young man must have a terrifying background. If something happens to him, his family will definitely retaliate. That way, I can build a connection with him. That’s enough discussion. If he needs anything, make sure it’s prepared.”“Yes, young miss…”*In the underground territory of the souther

Ardhana stared at the warm tea in front of him, its steam rising slowly, forming thin swirls in the air. His gloved fingers touched the cup, but he didn’t drink yet.“Afraid?” His voice was low but firm. “There’s only one thing I fear in this world—when someone who can act chooses to be blind to injustice.”Kiana fell silent. His words were simple, yet carried a heavy weight, as if they came from someone who had witnessed far too much death.“Y-you… you’re not an ordinary person, are you?” she asked softly. “The way you move, your gaze… it’s not like a normal citizen’s.”Ardhana didn’t answer right away. He simply looked out the window, where dust swirled along the dirty border road. Two poorly dressed men were seen running in a hurry—likely going to report to their superiors.“An ordinary person…” he murmured quietly.Kiana lowered her head. She wanted to ask more, but something behind the masked man’s gaze made her hold back. That feeling reminded her of the one person she respected

The crowd inside the shop grew increasingly restless. Some customers stepped back, while others whispered excitedly, as if they were watching a strange spectacle that would end in tragedy.Rhela laughed loudly, crossing her arms over her chest. The gold necklace around her neck trembled with the force of her harsh laughter.“I told you, servant, this city is no place for fools who don’t know the rules! Anyone who dares oppose the Cobra Gang—even a troop commander—will end up kneeling!”The attendant beside her could only lower his head, his lips trembling between fear and shame.“S-sir, it would be better if you… leave now… before they really come.”But Ardhana remained silent. His gaze was cold, showing not the slightest intention of retreating. He looked at Madam Rhela’s trembling hand, barely concealing her arrogance, then spoke slowly.“Interesting… So in this city, the law bows to a snake?”Rhela smirked. “A snake? Hahaha! Sweet child, this one is no ordinary reptile. Their leade

“Is it true… my family isn’t dead?”Ardhana nodded calmly and took out his identification plate.“In a moment, someone in a black robe with a dragon insignia will come here. Just tell them this is my token, and they will show you the way to where your family is.”“B-but what if they don’t believe me?”“The plate in your hand is equivalent to a direct order from the State of Amerta. After hearing the news of this victory, they will know that I personally gave it to you.”“Alright… thank you.”Ardhana did not respond. “Ardhana, even though you now hold the highest authority of law in the palace, his crimes are severe… How can the punishment be this light?!” one of the officials behind Emperor Diablo spoke with irritation.“He even caused Dumai and Amerta to become hostile toward each other… Because of him, our nation was isolated?! Ardhana…!” another added. However, Ardhana calmly looked at Emperor Diablo, who unexpectedly agreed without any intention of arguing.“Even so, he is still the highest authority of law in this palace… Besides, he was the one who forced Jon Vick out of hiding…”Nimira stepped forward toward Ardhana, her smile graceful—like a war angel showing a different side to certain people.“I know you have another plan… Ardhana, I will do it.”Shortly after Nimira captured Jon Vick and Valsha, Emperor Diablo ordered the entire Blades force to eliminate the remaining rebels led by Jon Vick.*Inside the palace hall.“Ardhana, honestly… I truly admire you.
