“You may leave.”
Doctor Tirta’s gaze grew even more serious.
He began to ponder—who exactly is Bintang?
If he allowed Bintang to continue living, a real threat would surely loom over him. Moreover, Bintang might become someone worshipped by all those in need of his services. That alone was enough to make Doctor Tirta burn with resentment.
Cahaya Street was extremely quiet. After waiting there for ten minutes, the same BMW X4 driven by Diana finally stopped in front of Bintang. Watching the car, Bintang murmured softly.
“Finally… someone has come to pick me up.”
The car door opened. A young woman in simple clothing stepped out and carefully examined Bintang from head to toe, nodding slightly as she muttered,
“All black clothing, handsome face… exactly like the description the women mentioned about the Medical Goddess…”
“Why are you just standing there?” Bintang said, already feeling sleepy, prompting the girl to finally speak again.
“Are you Mister Bintang?”
He simply nodded. The girl immediately opened the door and escorted him back to her residence located in the heart of Cloud City.
Ten minutes later—
The grandeur of the mansion did not astonish Bintang, but he was slightly surprised by the extremely tight security surrounding it. The guards were armed with firearms—clearly, the identity of this house’s owner was far beyond Clara’s family.
As he followed the girl inside, walking calmly, she suddenly began speaking.
“My father is suffering from a strange illness… He has been bedridden for the past three years. Earlier today, he briefly fell into a coma. I hope you can save him, sir. Even if he can’t fully recover, at least I don’t want him to suffer like this anymore…”
She finished her words and opened a door, revealing a burly middle-aged man lying on a bed, surrounded by numerous medical devices that made his pitiful condition painfully obvious.
“Where is the Life Jade you broke?”
The girl nodded and took out a bright blue jade—the one belonging to her master.
“Sir, this is—”
After examining it and confirming its authenticity, Bintang nodded. He removed the fragment engraved with his master’s phone number and stored the remaining piece of the Life Jade in his pocket.
Seeing that the girl remained mostly silent, Bintang began his examination of the middle-aged man.
Moments later—
Unstable blood pressure, several gunshot wounds that hadn’t healed, and poison nearly identical to what Clara’s father had suffered from.
How could this have happened?
“Sir, how is it? Can you cure my father?”
“This is only a minor issue,” Bintang replied calmly. “Go prepare the raw herbal ingredients I’ve written down. I’ll begin treatment tomorrow once everything is ready.”
“Alright…”
After reviewing the list of herbs, the girl nodded.
“How about you step outside and let my father rest again? Honestly, this room needs to remain sterile.”
“That won’t work,” Bintang rejected her suggestion.
“Sir—”
“To be honest, your father has been poisoned. The toxin has paralyzed the blood cells that should heal his wounds. It has also invaded his blood vessels and heart. I only want to know—where did this poison come from?”
The girl froze and stared at Bintang seriously.
“Is what you’re saying true? If that’s the case, what should I tell my father’s superiors? He is a commander of Amerta Nation’s forces. His identity is extraordinary. To ensure his safety, the Grand General does not want anyone disturbing his rest!”
“Don’t worry,” Bintang said calmly. “Just say I’m a cleaning assistant who monitors his condition and reports directly to you. It’s only for one night. By then, you’ll learn many truths you need to know.”
The girl nodded. For some reason, she felt that everything Bintang said was true. At this moment, nothing mattered more to her than her father’s safety.
After she left—
Bintang looked at the middle-aged man, who had actually regained consciousness during the examination.
“Sir… are you the Medical Goddess my little daughter mentioned?”
“I wouldn’t dare claim such a grand title. But your daughter presented the Life Jade—so it’s my duty to save you.”
The man slowly closed his eyes again. Once he had fallen into deep sleep, Bintang exhaled softly and muttered,
“The one who comes in next should be here to check on his condition…”
Creak!
The door opened. Bintang instantly stood up—only to see the plump figure of Doctor Tirta enter the room.
“W-what are you doing here?!”
“Hm? Do you know me, sir?” Bintang replied with a faint smile, pretending not to recognize him.
“Guards! There’s a fraud here! Why did you let him in?!” Doctor Tirta shouted furiously. He never expected Bintang to infiltrate the room of a special-force commander of Amerta Nation.
Hearing the shout, one guard rushed in and pointed his firearm—at Doctor Tirta.
“He is Miss Anya’s new assistant. As a doctor, you should keep the situation calm. Instead, you’re shouting like this! Do you think this is a playground?!”
Doctor Tirta fell silent. This was a real threat. He had no choice but to tolerate Bintang’s presence.
“…Alright.”
The guard nodded, glanced at Bintang with a different look, and casually left the room.
Moments later, silence returned. Bintang carefully observed Doctor Tirta’s actions.
Doctor Tirta injected a slightly greenish liquid into the IV line, prompting Bintang to finally speak.
“A doctor’s duty is to save lives. Yet this is the first time I’ve seen a doctor trying to kill his patient. Doctor Tirta, as the best doctor in this city—is this how you conduct yourself?”
Doctor Tirta smiled faintly.
Hearing this, Bintang stepped closer to the commander. Just as the man was about to curse Doctor Tirta, Bintang discreetly pressed a nerve point, immobilizing him and allowing Doctor Tirta to leave without raising suspicion.
“That’s true,” Bintang said lightly. “I’m just a servant. Anything I see could easily be silenced by you.”
“At least you know your place,” Doctor Tirta sneered. “But I advise you not to interfere in my affairs. Otherwise, you’ll be dragged into a disaster beyond your imagination!”
With that, Doctor Tirta finished his task and immediately left the room.

Ardhana gave a faint smile.“Before I tell you my identity… how about you be honest with me first?”Kiana took a slow breath. She picked up the cup of tea and sipped it gently.“I’m just a small-time healer. By chance, I once opened a clinic in a major city of the Spirit Nation… This tea was given by a few officials whose illnesses I managed to cure. Now, what about your identity?”*Seems like she still wants to hide who she is…* Ardhana thought, then nodded.“As it happens, my mother is also a small-time healer… She somewhat follows the treatment methods of the legendary Goddess Medist of this nation.”“Y-you…”“Hahaha! It’s already late. It wouldn’t be proper for a young man like me to keep staying in the house of a girl as beautiful as you… Kiana, I’ll see you tomorrow.”Kiana’s face flushed red on its own. She could only watch as Ardhana walked away into the distance.“Uncle…” Kiana spoke softly.A middle-aged man stepped out from a hidden room.“Your Highness, if there is an orde

“Sir, you may go in now… Please choose a room according to your preference…”Ardhana nodded calmly. After selecting a room, he took out a black card and handed it to the innkeeper.“How many days will you be staying, sir?”“About a month. I want to stay temporarily in this border city.”The girl nodded and left the room to process the payment. Meanwhile, in her private office, a servant quickly stopped her.“Young miss… He has offended Rengo Kobra. If we give him lodging, I’m afraid…”“You don’t understand how powerful the Amerta Nation is. Rengo Kobra is just a thug who controls a small part of the border cities. This black card—there are only a few of them in existence. That means this masked young man must have a terrifying background. If something happens to him, his family will definitely retaliate. That way, I can build a connection with him. That’s enough discussion. If he needs anything, make sure it’s prepared.”“Yes, young miss…”*In the underground territory of the souther

Ardhana stared at the warm tea in front of him, its steam rising slowly, forming thin swirls in the air. His gloved fingers touched the cup, but he didn’t drink yet.“Afraid?” His voice was low but firm. “There’s only one thing I fear in this world—when someone who can act chooses to be blind to injustice.”Kiana fell silent. His words were simple, yet carried a heavy weight, as if they came from someone who had witnessed far too much death.“Y-you… you’re not an ordinary person, are you?” she asked softly. “The way you move, your gaze… it’s not like a normal citizen’s.”Ardhana didn’t answer right away. He simply looked out the window, where dust swirled along the dirty border road. Two poorly dressed men were seen running in a hurry—likely going to report to their superiors.“An ordinary person…” he murmured quietly.Kiana lowered her head. She wanted to ask more, but something behind the masked man’s gaze made her hold back. That feeling reminded her of the one person she respected

The crowd inside the shop grew increasingly restless. Some customers stepped back, while others whispered excitedly, as if they were watching a strange spectacle that would end in tragedy.Rhela laughed loudly, crossing her arms over her chest. The gold necklace around her neck trembled with the force of her harsh laughter.“I told you, servant, this city is no place for fools who don’t know the rules! Anyone who dares oppose the Cobra Gang—even a troop commander—will end up kneeling!”The attendant beside her could only lower his head, his lips trembling between fear and shame.“S-sir, it would be better if you… leave now… before they really come.”But Ardhana remained silent. His gaze was cold, showing not the slightest intention of retreating. He looked at Madam Rhela’s trembling hand, barely concealing her arrogance, then spoke slowly.“Interesting… So in this city, the law bows to a snake?”Rhela smirked. “A snake? Hahaha! Sweet child, this one is no ordinary reptile. Their leade

“Is it true… my family isn’t dead?”Ardhana nodded calmly and took out his identification plate.“In a moment, someone in a black robe with a dragon insignia will come here. Just tell them this is my token, and they will show you the way to where your family is.”“B-but what if they don’t believe me?”“The plate in your hand is equivalent to a direct order from the State of Amerta. After hearing the news of this victory, they will know that I personally gave it to you.”“Alright… thank you.”Ardhana did not respond. He picked up several boxes, then carried the two heads of his grandfather’s killers out of the underground chamber of the Sacred Lotus Pavilion. His steps were calm, but it did not mean the hatred in his heart had ended. “Ardhana, even though you now hold the highest authority of law in the palace, his crimes are severe… How can the punishment be this light?!” one of the officials behind Emperor Diablo spoke with irritation.“He even caused Dumai and Amerta to become hostile toward each other… Because of him, our nation was isolated?! Ardhana…!” another added. However, Ardhana calmly looked at Emperor Diablo, who unexpectedly agreed without any intention of arguing.“Even so, he is still the highest authority of law in this palace… Besides, he was the one who forced Jon Vick out of hiding…”Nimira stepped forward toward Ardhana, her smile graceful—like a war angel showing a different side to certain people.“I know you have another plan… Ardhana, I will do it.”Shortly after Nimira captured Jon Vick and Valsha, Emperor Diablo ordered the entire Blades force to eliminate the remaining rebels led by Jon Vick.*Inside the palace hall.“Ardhana, honestly… I truly admire you.
