Doubt drifted through Ren’s mind like a thin mist, only to evaporate the moment it clashed with his biological reality.

The lingering remnants of his human sanity whispered, protesting that eating something that had just fallen from the sky, like a stray dog begging for scraps, was a degrading act.

But that internal resistance shattered. The aroma of roasted meat drifting through the air was simply too brutal to ignore.

It was intoxicatingly thick, a heavenly combination of perfectly melted savory fat and a high-temperature caramelized crust.

The thin wisp of smoke curling from the meat felt like an invisible hand wrapping around the throat of his logic, piercing straight into the core of his feral instincts.

'To hell with pride,' he thought desperately.

Ren’s small jaw opened wide. He sank his newly grown milk fangs into the thick fibers of the spiritual beef.

The tenderness of the meat and the burst of rich broth flooding his mouth made the white tiger’s pupils dilate.

The sensation was incredible, surpassing any five-star meal he had ever tasted in his previous human life.

Without realizing it, his head tilted left and right, brutally chewing, tearing, and swallowing until not even the smallest scrap remained on the dew-kissed green grass.

Along with the final bite sliding smoothly down his throat, a cold yet refreshing mechanical chime buzzed inside his skull.

[Consumed Spiritual Beef. EXP successfully doubled!]

Ren paid no attention to the string of glowing blue, transparent text blinking at the edge of his vision. His focus was entirely consumed by the sudden warmth erupting from his stomach.

The heat spread rapidly, coursing through his bloodstream like a subtle electrical current, dissecting and stimulating every muscle cell.

His bones gave a soft pop, while his snow-white fur stood on end for a brief moment, absorbing the pure energy from nature.

[Accumulated experience is sufficient! Successfully broken through to Tier 2!]

[Passive Skill 'Sharp Claws' leveled up to Level 2!]

['Wind Element' affinity successfully acquired!]

A wave of newfound power surged drastically. The air around his front paws suddenly began to swirl gently, creating a miniature, coolly whispering vortex.

Ren raised one of his fluffy paws, staring in awe at the visible stream of faint green energy now completely submissive to his will.

“This... this is the best!” Ren unconsciously squealed in delight. Of course, instead of a grown man’s baritone voice, what escaped his throat was an adorably high-pitched squeak.

Momentarily forgetting the burden of his old soul, the baby white tiger bounced around in demonic joy.

His four soft, tiny paws bounded off the mossy ground, his tail whipping wildly like a cord of pure happiness, while his round ears twitched rhythmically, catching the breeze.

It was a silly victory dance that didn't reflect his status as a predator in the slightest.

However, Ren didn't realize he wasn't entirely alone.

Hiding behind the clouds, Qinglan was forced to turn her head away, hurriedly bringing a slender hand to cover her trembling lips.

She took a deep breath, forcefully locking down the vortex of her aura to prevent the laugh threatening to burst forth from tearing through the forest's silence and ruining everything.

'Heavens, that little creature... where did he learn to bounce like a cotton ball?' Qinglan thought, the corners of her eyes watering slightly as she fought back the agonizing amusement twisting her stomach.

'Should I give him advanced spiritual beast meat so his cultivation skyrockets?' Qinglan tapped her slender chin with her index finger, weighing the probabilities.

The cooling evening breeze played with the ends of her long blue hair. Soon, a soft sigh escaped her lips as she shook her head. Her previously amused gaze sharpened once again, exuding a cold, majestic aura.

'No. If I keep spoon-feeding him, his fangs will only rust. Slowly, he will lose the feral instinct to hunt his own prey. For now... let me watch him from here. Show me how far you can survive, Little Tiger.'

Qinglan leaned her back against the empty air, letting the clouds absolutely conceal her existence. Her eagle-sharp eyes stayed locked onto Ren's movements. He had now ceased his silly dance, lowered his posture, and was seriously sniffing the air, preparing for his next hunt.

Three hours had passed since the euphoria of his breakthrough.

The sun had slipped far into the west, leaving behind streaks of bleeding orange that pierced through the gaps in the forest canopy.

Ren held his ground. His breathing was steady, his eyes radiating a dense, suffocating killing intent.

Standing before him was a bipedal creature about the height of a human teenager, its arm muscles bulging unnaturally.

The beast snorted harshly, baring a set of filthy yellow fangs.

This was no joke. The official name of the muscle-bound primate in front of him was a Naughty Monkey.
