Basically, everything these 4 are going to do is controlled by the devil.

And Berry is someone with a mysterious past life, with the ability to give the upper hand, either to the god or the devil.

...

God took his action way earlier.

All the eleven people the devil chose are already coming together in a single place.

And the first person is this girl, who just got a taste of the truth of the human heart.

19 June 2019

"I finally got a boyfriend after so long!! You know Tim, I had a crush on him ever since.... umm ever since when? I don't remember. But I already had a crush on him and today he asked me out. It's still hard to believe. He's so popular. Why would he date me?! Timmy, I am so happy today." Delrina was overflowing with happiness.

Timmy and Delrina are best friends. They are inseparable. Their friendship is so famous if one is walking around alone, random people on the street start asking about the other one. Both of them were sitting in their usual place. It is Timmy's father's cafe.

"Oh, great, what was his name again?" Her voice was normal, but her tone gave off some disappointed vibes, but Delrina was too busy speaking to notice it.

"Ah! Tim, you have been my friend for ages and yet you can't keep my crush's name in your head? It's Spencer." She still had a big smile on her lovely face. Her face was so small and cute that everybody felt an urge to protect her at all costs.

"So you still remember I am your friend?" Tim's voice was cold after hearing it. Her always smiling face vanished into thin air. Her tone was so indifferent. She was disappointed. She went through many troubles all alone just to save Delrina from that guy, but Delrina walked right into the trap on her own, but now Timmy felt no need to feel angry because there's no meaning in it. Delrina won't listen to her anyway.

"What's wrong Tim? Are you okay?" She pretended not to know the reason for her coldness.

"I warned you every single day not to go near him; I tried my best to get you out of his reach, but you kept throwing yourself at him. Do you have even the slightest piece of pride left in yourself?" She said this in a casual tone as if she was talking about some distant relative of hers.

"Why do you have to be like this, Tim? You are the first one I am sharing this news with.."

"Oh! c'mon I was not even bothered by the fact that you had a celebration party with those punks who wander around your 'boyfriend', but now you even have to lie to me? It's still ok but why do you have to date that jerk in the first place? You know exactly what he wants from you. You are aware of how many girls he used and dumped before you. Still, you fall for his fake gestures and stuff. I could have never expected this from you." She initially tried not to lose her temper, but it was hard to digest that Delrina even started lying to her. Tim was at the edge of shouting. Her face was already red.

"What are you being all bossy about? It's my life and I'll live it as I wish. You can't say whatever you want. Tim, I know you are my friend but you still can't use such words for him. You are just jealous of me. I should have understood earlier." Timmy was stunned after hearing this. She knew who the actual owner of these words was.

"O... okay if the things have come to this then I can't help you even if I wanted to. I guess you'll soon be coming back to me. You are still welcome. Please don't get any deeper into it. Tim just murmured some of the words. She was aware of the type of personality Delrina had but today it went overboard. Tim was already on the brink of crying. She looked at Delrina straight in her eyes for a while, as if wanting to say something, but in the end, she just left.

Delrina didn't mean it, but right now, she had no idea what to do. She ran behind Tim, but Tim was already nowhere to be seen. Delrina was on the sidewalk looking around. She kept standing there until a touch on her shoulder started her.

"Hey Del, what are you doing here?" It was a boy with orange-dyed hair. He was wearing a lot of iron accessories and those looked overloaded.

"Nothing.. nothing at all, you guys here?"

"We are going to watch a movie then we'll go karaoke... maybe a little drinks too."

"I... I have a class now." Delrina was not so comfortable with these people.

"Ooh c'mon, you can skip classes for friends, right?" It was a girl standing with her arm over the shoulder of another boy. She had an intimidating aura.

"Your boyfriend is joining us, too. He'll be sad if you don't come. And yes, you are still friends with that hot-headed? She was so rude to us yesterday, she even traduced Spencer. What is she pretending to be? All caring and ugghh?" She made a disgusting face and all of them burst out laughing. Delrina was even more uncomfortable.

"OK, I'll come with you, but only for the movie."

"Yeah, Yeah keep studying and someone will steal your bf. Ok, let's go."

In the end, Delrina was the one who paid. The money she used was from her mother's savings. She paid each time because she wanted to match the standard of his friends. She spent more money in these some days than she would normally spend in 6 months.

These things kept on going this way for like a week. After a week, Delrina was informed that her mother is laying sick in the hospital, and a huge amount of money was required for her treatment. But she was already out of it. She gave Spencer a call.

" Hello, I need your help. Can you lend me some money?"

"Hello? hello? I can't hear what you are saying. Delrina? there's a network problem I guess. I'll call you back soon. Bye..." but he forgot to hang up.

"What a freak. She didn't even spend nicely and now she is asking for money." It was that girl's voice.

"Yeah, I know. I think she is gone broke too. I'll soon find a way to break up with her. Then we'll find a new one."

Delrina heard everything. But she did nothing. She was well aware that she was harvesting what she sowed. But she has no time to act all heartbroken.

She now started looking for a part-time job desperately. Even when she got one that was so low paying to help her mother's treatment expenses. In the end, she gave Tim a call. Timmy had an intention of playing hard but after hearing the story of her mother, she ran over to her. Timmy comforted her. And Delrina finally let out her tears.

Timmy was the one who helped her out. Tim was not so rich, but she did all she could do for her.

Tim's eyes or words showed no disappointment or resentment when Darlina asked for help. She already knew that Darlina was going to suffer, but she had no idea that it can go to this extent. Tim felt sad for her, and she helped her without any hope of getting something in return. Darlina was sorry for her behavior, but she wasn't able to bring herself to say it. Tim was aware of this fact, and nicely knew how good she was at apologies.

After a lot of searching online and offline, Timmy suggested her a job in a close-by town.

"Hey Delrina, I found a job online."

"Are you sure it's not a fake one?"

"Yes, I am sure. It's a job of a server. You can do it, right?"

"Of course I can do it. I'll attract many customers with my looks." Everything was normal between them just in a few hours.

"Hoh! Your looks, those are not too good, my friend." She said mockingly."

"Where is the job?"

"It's at your favorite place."

"Where?"

"Riverside resort of the Sunshine town," Timmy said excitingly.

"Really? How did you find it?"

"I don't know. I just found it. Notification from an unknown number popped up on my whatchat, and they suggested me this job."

"So, you are telling me that you are sending me somewhere out of the station, just on the basis of an unknown helper's suggestion?"

"If it was some random resort, I was not going to believe it. But I gave confirmation call on resort's helpline and they are looking for new staffs with good looks."

"So you agree that I am good looking"

"Yeah, yeah, you won. Now listen, you can join them tomorrow if you want to. And don't worry about aunty. I'll stay with her." Timmy just wanted to say this much, but it felt so serious. "You know she likes me more than she does to you."

"Yes, yes, why not? You want me to leave as soon as possible? Ok then, you hurt my ego. I'll leave tomorrow." Delrina said it in the same tone as Timmy just used.

The very next day, the 26th of June, she went to join her job.

...

She was all determined to help her mom out, unaware of her demise on the way.

So after a long break, I will continue writing regularly soon. But there is an idea that I think can improve the quality of this story by many folds. Before that, I want to discuss the structure of this story.... it's messed up. Suddenly, whatever POV shows up, my English is already a chef's kiss. So I want to give it a new start with a better structural organization. My idea for the story was to get it done in my cultural style. Names, places, history references, everything. For that, I'll have to begin from the beginning.I'll try to begin it as soon as possible. Feel free to give ideas for the story.

  • Planning A Trip

Arden ran in the direction Amira went. He ran for about 5 minutes when he saw her sitting on the garden chair looking at the birds chirping melodiously on the tree. Arden came near and sat beside her. “What was your plan?” Arden asked. “Umm… nothing special, just a week-long trip.” “We decided to plan something when everyone is done with their families. What do you think?” “It’s good. Where are what are we gonna do?” Amira tried her utmost to look normal, but she was unable to hide the sadness in her eyes, which Arden saw very clearly. “Anywhere you plan, we are good with it. What did you plan, by the way? I knew from a look that you had something going on at the bus stand. What was it?” Arden knew that Amira has been feeling down inside since the moment Gayle mentioned her parents. Arden knew that Amira was an orphan and lived with one of her seniors at the orphanage. But he didn’t know the complete story. He knew this much because that senior of hers used to work at his mansion

The palace had an unusual design. Each floor was almost the same, same arrangement of the rooms, windows, and doors. Except for the one. The one present on the 4th floor had a huge single room way bigger than the once present on other floors, alone occupying the space for 3 other rooms, and the area below the room for the next 3 floors had no rooms, only some windows, each having deteriorated porcelain vases probably used as plant vases. The palace clearly looked rectangular from the outside, but from the inside, it was more like a square. None of them had their attention going on the shape. Instead, they were troubled by something else as soon as they looked at the design.“Hey Orion, look at the stairs.” Zale was examining the building when he got a glimpse of the unusually built staircase. There were pairs of them on the 2nd, 4th, and 6th floor, arranged alternatively to each other. But none were visible on the rest of the floors.“Yup, I saw it,”His voice was coming from a little

  • Entering the Palace.

......9 JulyBerry woke up early this morning. He had no nightmares, no illusions, and no confusing delusions of his own, at night. He looked around. Others were still in their tents. He looked at the sun; it was slowly rising. And this time is the best time for exploring a tomb or ancient buildings. The morning rays wash away all the bad omens and bring peace to the wandering souls. But before any work, it is important to respond to nature's call. 'I'll wake everyone up after I am done from this, he thought and walked a little further away.'After about fifteen minutes, he was back. It didn't take him fifteen minutes solely to respond to nature's call, but he started playing with birds and then went to look at lilies blooming peacefully and beautifully there. Doing this, he almost forgot the way back. When he was back, he saw everyone already up, doing their own stuff. He walked to them and greeted everyone morning. Everyone's way of responding to his morning was a whole definition

"No need to be confused. You were about to be run down by the car and I saved you. That's all pretty simple. Isn't it? And now your focus is supposed to be that you are already late for class.""Ah, my focus, what was that again?" Amira's confusion now looked more serious."Are you serious? You are late for class.""Oh, I am late for class. Yes, yes, I know. I knew it already." She said normally in a low voice until realization hit her. "... WHAT! I AM LATE!? It's a geography lecture today. Miss Devi's gonna kill me, bye see you later." She turned around to run as soon as she finished her words.Arden grabbed her backpack and pulled her back. Right after it, another car crossed from where she was about to run."What are you doing!?" Miss Devi's not the one who'll kill you. You will be the one to kill yourself! Is something wrong?""No, no, no, nothing is wrong. What's possibly gonna go wrong? Everything's alright. Yeah, it is alright. Everyt

...The next ones to begin their journey are all the 6 members of a clique. Unaware of anything at all, they are enjoying their last moments as school students...."Finally, guys end of these long tiring years. " Luke was the happiest among this clique. All 6 friends are standing at the bus station with their school uniforms still on."No more worries about these classes anymore. Life is just so beautiful." (Yes, he is never going to even think of studying again.)"We still need to study further, this isn't the end." (and it's that girl of the group who can't enjoy and can't let others enjoy as well.) Dayla is the least excited one here."Don't ruin the atmosphere, Dayla, Luke said, trying to act in a cute manner.""Ew!! How many times do I need to tell you not to act cute? It makes me want to throw up." Again, it was Dayla ruining the flow of his happy vibes.Amira, on the other hand, seems to be excited about something else.
