Second world, -A perfect frenemy

The last thing that Gem remembered was hitting the ground and feeling the indescribable pain but in a second it was gone and he felt light as feather that was floating in the space.

He slowly opened his eyes and for the first time he felt strange in his own body. He sat up and felt something different with his body. It was not the body that he was living it. It did not feel weak. Rather it felt good.

He looked around and found himself in a room. The room was big and spacious.

"Welcome host to your original body."

"Where are we?"

He questioned as he walked towards the mirror to look at himself while the mechanical voice went quite.

Gem stood in front of the big mirror and was amazed what he saw in the mirror. He was much taller and muscular than before. His features were same but more sharp and his hair were blode with a red strand. He looked like a character from the the movies.

"Is this my original body?"

"Yes host. The two worlds were created in your subconscious mind but your conscious mind ahs been activated.

But remember host. Because now you are in your original body, killing yourself could lead to your actual death.

Every world had a door that leads to the other world and we have to find it."

Gem nodded and he made fist and saw his muscles popping.

"They don't know about you. Don't they?"

He asked the system as he grabbed the iron vase from the shelf. He put a little pressure and his fingers were printed on the vase. He did not know he could be this powerful.

"No, they don't.

I was created to help you to get out of this world. I have no identity in this world."

The system spoke in his mechanical voice while Gem was ready to get out. The place he was standing felt like an abandoned shopping mall. He did not know what kind of world was this.

"Host. Please be careful. There are a lot of people or monsters outside. This is like an underground world to keep prisoners for the Gods."

"Do not worry. I think I can manage."

He smirked and walked towards the exist while the system coughed.

"Host, do not forget there are no ordinary human outside. Everyone is at different levels of power and in front of them you are still a kid.

You power level is only five percent for now.

You can...

Host careful...."

The mechanical voice sounded panic making Gem jump back as soon as he came out if the building. The next second, a figure passed near him in a full speed. After it, there was a group of monsters.

Gem glanced at the figure who now jumped on a abandoned car and then swing on the street light before landing on the edge of the shop.

In a second, it was gone and so was the group of monsters.

"That person was fast."

Gem admitted and realized that he had a lot to learn.

"Wait...wait for me.."

Another figure was running from where the people from earlier came. It stopped near Gem ad it was panting heavily.

It lifted it's head and Gem realized that she was girl. She was wearing a mask but he could see her eyes and few strands of Silver color hair hidden under a scarf.

"Hey....hey..."

She straightened up and gave a foolish smile to him.

"Did you see a girl running this way?

She left me behind."

"Yeah, she went that way." Gem pointed towards the direction and the girl looked gloomy. She sat down trying to catch her breath.

"This is so wrong. I am a dragon. They should protect me but they kept abandoning me." She pouted angrily and Gem who wanted to leave, stopped and stared at her.

"You are a dragon?"

"Yes."

"Prove it."

"What?" She looked confused.

"Prove that you are a dragon."

"You are a dragon too. You prove that you are a dragon."

This looked as she did not like his words while Gem raised his eyebrow. He looked hesitant not knowing if he should trust her or not.

What if she was actually a dragon? Because she could be helpful to him then.

"Host, do not trust anyone easily.

Moreover, she is still at level one. I don't think she could be any help to us."

The mechanical voice warned Gem and this time Gem understood. He turned and started walking in the opposite direction.

The girl stared at him and then quickly got up. She ran after him and started walking with him.

"Hey, where are you going?

Are you going to abandon me?

How can you abandon a beautiful person like this?"

She kept walking with him talking non stop while Gem tried to ignore her. He was not interested in getting in trouble again.

"It's going to be night soon. We need to find a shelter or else the monsters at night will kill us in a second. They are fast and very dangerous."

She told Gem making him stop. He did not know anything about this world but she knew. It was not a good idea to get rid of her.

He turned towards her and looked in her eyes making her chuckle nervously.

"Now I know why people kept abandoning you."

"Hey....this is mean." She pouted and Gem shook his head. In such time, he knew this girl was a little dumb. If this place was this much dangerous then he still wondered how she was still alive.

"Sumi.

My name is Sumi."

She rubbed her palm on her thigh as if cleaning it before forwarding it towards Gem while Gem looked at her hand and then at her face. He ignored her hand and looked away.

"What is this place?

And why is it full of monsters."

"Are you new here?"

She questioned him back and as Gem nodded, she rubbed her chin thoughtfully.

"You came to the perfect person. I know everything about this world and every other one. I can help you get out but you have to take me with you."
