School Bullies

Wednesday, 5:40 AM. (A.M.- After Meridian)

Margaret got up and started to take care of herself. Folded the bed then went to the bathroom. She was staring at the replica in the mirror. Her eyes focused on her own eyes reflection, It's light brown. Unlike yesterday at the hospital, she can say that her eyes are better today.

"Is it because of the eyes of the Phoenix?" She asked herself.

She came out of the bathroom and started eating. She needs to speed up. According to the host memory, 6 km, is the distance from Pangarap village where their house is located, to Bagong Silang university. She needs to ride to get there quickly.

"This uniform looks old. Even the color is light." She held a pair of school uniforms. "Not bad.. I still have to wear it." she added..

After she fixed the inside of the house and herself, then she decided to go out.

Is Lui already prepared?" Lui is her classmate.. Although the girl is small, she is also at her age.

She locked the door of the house and walked out of the village. Take 5 minutes walking to reach the parking lot where some jeepneys are waiting to pick up passengers.

"Jenny!" Lui's voice..

She turned to the source of the girl's voice. She's also wearing a uniform and like like her, the girl will also walk to the waiting area for the car.

The two walked together until they reached the jeepneys stop. They also drive 10 minutes to get to school. Fortunately, the Jeep charges are cheap. Especially for students. For Margaret, riding a Jeep for the first time, is exciting. The time where you hand your payment to the person sitting near the driver.

"I forgot to remind you.. The school exam is coming soon.." Lui suddenly snapped next to her.

"Is it difficult?" She asked directly. Not to brag but she was always the top one in the class when she was still studying while doing assassination.

"What?" Lui approached her and then whispered.. "Maybe you're forgetting, you'll be third from last when the exam is over."

"What?!"

Lui looked at her, her eyes are full of questions.

"Don't look at me like that.. I know my grades are low but at least I'm not last." She is boasting about the weakness of the brain of the owner of her body.

"Wow!" Lui's silly answered while also clapping.. "You're not the last one in the grading." She continued.

"En." She nodded.

"When your grade goes up a little in the upcoming exam.. I'll treat you somewhere." Her friend encouraged her.

"Deal." They touched each other hands.

High school gate..

"Ahhhh... I thought we were late..." Lui said.

There was a traffic jam on the road earlier. Fortunately they arrived at the right time..

"Stop that.. Let's go"

They entered the gate and walked along the pathway to their room. This place...its small. It's a public school.. So it's no wonder.

When they entered their class room, they were immediately greeted by five women. The other students just sat there as if they were used to that scene. There are men who are smiling while waiting for the scene to happen. The class teacher is not there this time.

"Uuuyyyy.....!" You're out of the hospital.. We thought you wouldn't make it out alive..." It's the girl in the middle.

With short hair dyed violet, round eyes with fushia makeup on the lids, lips heavily colored with crimson lipstick. What kind of new trending fashion make up is this???? Is it okay for students to wear makeup in public schools? Well it's fine... But this kind of color combination??

The group of woman stands in the way and utters words that are not pleasant to hear. Is it.. Bullying?

She didn't pay attention to the provocation. Then stepped towards her seat.

"Hey! You ignored me?!" The woman yelled.

"Sarah.. Jenny was just in the hospital but she seems to have become brave.. " One of the girls whose hair was curled like noodles added the fuel. Same with a woman called Sarah. The girl is also wearing make-up.

She stopped walking and faced her.

"I am ignoring you, so what?!" Her voice is colder than ice.

The group was stunned but only for a moment. Then they started laughing like there was no tomorrow..

"I am ignoring you.. So what?" Sarah repeated what she said. Then she laughed again.. "That's English!" Hahahah!" You can speak English now?" She teased her more.

"Jenny...." Lui whispered beside her. Shes holding the hem of her blouse.

"Go to your seat." She ordered her. She doesn't want to empathize with Lui in the current situation. Her mother treats her like her own child too.

"Who told you that she can sit down?" Sarah blocks Lui's path.. Her arms are folded over her chest..

She turned around here. Her voice was colder than the ice of Antarctica when she spoke again.

"If you don't stop provoking me, I will fucking ruin your ugly face right here, right now. So if I were you, Stay as far away from me."

Sarah was stunned.. She felt fear. And the first reaction of her body was to raise her hand and slap Jenny hard.

"Jenny!" Lui shouted...

"You shut up! Sarah yelled to her.. I'll hit you next if you don't shut up!" Still in shock, she faced Jenny who was currently speechless.

"Who are you to scare me??!!! Ha?!! " you're just a loser!" She raised her hand again to hopefully slap Jenny again.

Margaret is now at her patience limit.

Faster than the blink of an eye, she grabbed Sarah's face.. Squeezing it. As she held her right hand that was hanging in the air.

"I warned you a while ago.. Stop provoking me." Again her cold voice could be heard in the room which was suddenly silent due to the unexpected event. She steps forward while Sarah steps backwards. Sarah eyes trembling with fear.. This is the first time she feels fear in her whole life.

Margaret brought her face close to Sarah's face and whispered..

"You know... I never let anyone who provoked me lived. If I want, I can kill you here now. So think again before doing anything bad again. I will repeat myself, stay away from me and Lui. . Or I will make you not attend this school ever again."

Then she released her. Sarah couldn't speak while looking at her.. Thinking.. "Is this still the Jenny she bullied for three years now?"

"You... Just you wait..!!! I'll make sure you regret this day Jenny!!!!" The girl yells while fixing herself..

"Be my guest" Jenny answered then turned around and went to her seat.

"Go back to your seat!!!! Sarah shouted.. "what are you looking at?! Huh?!" She shouted to the other students who were watching.. The boys whistled because of the intense scene they watched. Their eyes on Jenny.

"Are you okay?" Lui whispered to her.. "Why did you fight back? Sarah is known to be spoiled because of her older brother who is the leader of the group here at school.. They are all bullies." She whispered worriedly.

"Lui.. You worry too much.. Let them be. They will bully you even more if you don't fight..." She answered unconcerned.

"But, what if they hurt you?" Lui feels fear for her.

"They can't hurt me.. Trust me."

She glanced at Sarah's place.. She's now busy with her phone... For sure.. She's already reporting to her brother.

"Ahhhh.... First day of school.. And it looks like it's also the first day of her miserable school days." She whispered to herself.

Good morning class!!!!!

The class teacher came so her thoughts stopped.

Lunch time..

Because the school is far from their house. She and Lui brought their lunch box. And they were eating in the room.

A loud knock on the door made Margaret look up. Here comes the trouble..

Five male students entered. Walking like goons.. Smiling. Behind them was Sarah who was smiling and then whispered a word. "You're dead"

"Jenny..." it's Lui.

She turned around to her.

"Just eat" she ordered her.

"They can't do anything to us since they were inside the school, so relax okay?" She reassured her friend's feelings.

"Are you Jenny?" Voice from one of the men Sarah brought.

"Do I know you?" She asked in response to this.

"Jenny! Stop acting brave!" Sarah shouted.

"Oh..! It's the ugly duckling woman." What? You couldn't stand me so you looked for an ally?" She teased the woman.

"You...!!! " Sarah's voice was full of shock.

"Funny.. " she urged her.

"Hey! Later outside the campus, meet me in the vacant lot near the abandoned talyer. I will ruin your face to remove what you are bragging about." The tall man said coldly and threateningly.

"Sure.." She answered with a smile.

The man stared at her then turned away..

"Sarah..." She called the woman..

It turned around.

"You didn't listen to my warning.So I hope you are prepared for what will happen to you." Margaret said seriously.

"Oh really?!" Sarah replied with a smile.. "Do it if you can".. Then she gave him the middle finger sign.

Sarah's group left before she spoke again.

"I'm full.. Lui." She looked at her friend. It turned pale.. Because of fear.. She held her friend's hands.. "Lui, I'm fine.. They can't hurt me.. Believe me... I'm not like before."

"But.. What if... What if they hurt you jenny?" She started crying... "Let's just report it to the principal.." She added while crying..

"Lui, Sarah's group has been a bully for a long time.. Even the principal can't do anything.. So it's useless to tell them".

"......" Her friend remained silent as she continued to cry. She didn't leave until it was over.

Today's class is over.. It's time to go home...
