Chapter Twelve: Not A Baron Material

Lucas entered the room and was stunned by the luxurious feel of the place.

It was just an emergency room of a hospital, but the equipment and furniture inside the room was too magnificent.

And laid on the hospital bed in the centre of the room was the very man who should have been called his father.

Lucas looked at the man for what felt like eternity and his anger increased by the minutes.

Seeing gauze on his father’s head, he felt very remorseful and regretted his actions.

He had been so impulsive then when he saw the adults having a fight because of him, he also didn’t want his mother to suffer since she’s the one who had been with him all these while.

But what could he do? This was his father and all he wished was for him to acknowledge him even once.

It doesn’t matter if they don’t make him the heir, as long as he’ll be able to sleep in the same house with his mother and father, then his wish in this life would be accomplished.
