The next day, Ethan Blackwood woke up early and checked his computer.

On the screen was a spreadsheet containing names and contact information. "Aldwin Silas, Project Manager... contact number.."

"Morris..." This page was filled with the contact details of various talents, but the rest of the entries were marked with crosses, clearly indicating that Jasmine's efforts last night had all been in vain.

Not a single one had succeeded. After all, these weren't just any ordinary talents. Did Elite Group really not understand their current situation?

It was a complete mess. With no money, no people, no partnerships, and no channels, how could they expect to develop?

Impossible!

That's why no one accepted their offers. "Darling, these guys are not worthy of your company," Ethan shook his head.

Today they chose to refuse, but one day, Elite Group would be out of their reach. With that, Ethan got busy with his tasks.

Meanwhile, Jasmine, still lost in her dreams, suddenly woke up with a start. "Oh no, oh no, oh no! I worked too late last night and forgot to iron my dress!" Dresses needed to be freshly ironed to ensure they looked neat and smooth.

Otherwise, she wouldn't be able to make it out at all. Last night, she had planned to iron her clothes, but she got so caught up in her tasks that she fell asleep.

This morning, she overslept again. She quickly glanced at her phone and gasped, "Oh no, I'm running out of time!" Ironing clothes takes time.

But there was no time to spare. She hurriedly got up, only to freeze in her tracks when she saw Ethan Blackwood standing at the door, holding the neatly ironed dress.

"Hey, sweetheart, the dress is ready, and dinner is done. Take your time getting ready, and we can head out," Ethan said with a smile.

"It's ironed?" Jasmine looked at the dress, perfectly pressed and smooth. Instantly, the tension in her chest eased, and she sank back onto the bed.

She even found herself sitting there, a new thought creeping into her mind: having him around didn't seem so bad after all.

But she couldn't say that out loud; it was the first time she truly felt a spark of affection for Ethan. "Got it. You can head downstairs now; I need to change," Jasmine said, signaling him to leave.

"Okay," Ethan replied, hanging up the dress before heading downstairs. As Jasmine watched Ethan's figure walk down the stairs, she couldn't help but murmur, "It seems... being with you might actually be nice..." A blush crept onto her face. It was unprecedented.

For the first time ever. Back in college, when her father had an accident, she took over Elite Group and had been struggling ever since, turning down all men. No man had ever made her smile.

Yet, Ethan Blackwood not only made her laugh but also made her cheeks flush. Little did she know, today, Ethan had a big surprise planned for her.

"Wait, Jasmine, don't forget the important stuff!" Suddenly, Jasmine remembered the business meeting scheduled for today and felt a rush of urgency. She quickly made her way downstairs in her elegant dress.

After dinner, the group set off. Jasmine wore a long white chiffon gown that flowed gracefully, covering her legs while accentuating her figure.

Her waist was incredibly slim, her arms delicate like soft petals, and her neck was as fair as snow. Her face was exquisitely beautiful, flawless in every way.

As soon as she stepped out of the car, she drew everyone's attention. "This is the Moore family. Everyone, be careful." Jasmine turned back to remind her companions.

The Moore family was a colossal presence in Panama City, spanning several provinces. Today marked both the Moore family's business meeting and their grand banquet, hosted at their prestigious estate.

The entire mansion, spanning over two thousand square feet, was incredibly spacious. Moreover, it was exquisitely decorated and worth a fortune. "This place's decor is valued at two hundred million," Jasmine whispered as she turned around.

Two hundred million!

Just then, announcements started echoing from outside. "Chairman of Tower Group, Daniel, has arrived."

"Chairman of Spotless Technology, Levi Holland, has arrived."

"Chairman of Brew Group, Willam, has arrived." Prominent figures continued to arrive one after another.

However, Jasmine's eyes caught sight of Evelyn, Oscar, and Nathan Brown-three top industry elites she had always wanted to recruit.

But she didn't dare approach them. Going up would only lead to humiliation. They wouldn't even look at her. "What an impressive scene," Beatrice said, staring in disbelief.

These groups were not just major players in Panama City; some were even well-known across the country.

The fact that they all came to the Moore family's banquet showed just how significant the Moore family was.

And these were all chairmen personally attending. After all, being a chairman meant something!

The highest leader of the entire group was personally attending, all because of the name "Moore family."

"Yeah, it's quite impressive. But soon, I'lIl also be part of the Moore family," Salome thought as she watched the influential figures mingling around her.

These were the same big shots she had seen in newspapers and on the news. The spacious estate and exquisite decorations filled her with envy.

But soon, she would be part of the Moore family too. Her daughter was about to become the young mistress of the Moore family, and she would rise to success alongside her.

Just thinking about it made her happy. "Yes, we will soon be part of the Moore family too, but first.. we need to get rid of that guy," Beatrice chimed in, her gaze shifting to Ethan Blackwood before returning to normal.

They walked inside, and as Beatrice rummaged through her bag for something, she suddenly exclaimed, "Wait, where's the document? Where did the cultural files go? Oh no!" Suddenly, Beatrice's face turned pale.

"What's wrong?" Jasmine looked over, concerned.

"I left our company's collaboration documents on the table by my bed! I meant to grab them before I left, but I completely forgot!" Beatrice's face was ashen.

"What?" Jasmine's was getting anxious. Those were her company's documents, after all. This was a business conference meant for networking, and without any company materials, how could they possibly discuss business? That was just unacceptable.

If they couldn't present their information, they might end up wasting their time at such a significant event, and all her preparations would be for nothing.

"This... this..." Jasmine furrowed her brow in frustration. Just then, Beatrice suddenly turned to Ethan Blackwood, "Brother-in-law, why don't you take a cab back to get it? You should still have time. We're all dressed up in gowns and high heels, not exactly suited for running around." That made sense.

Jasmine considered it for a moment and then looked at Ethan. It seemed like that was the only option left.

"Alright." Ethan Blackwood touched the necklace he was holding and turned to leave. After he walked away, Eden Jackson approached the gathering, accompanied by someone else.

He came over to Jasmine and said, "Jasmine, would you like to have a drink?" He held a glass of red wine in his hand.

"What!" Holland Brigg's, who was on the ground nursing his hand with a look of despair and anger, suddenly heard those words. His expression changed dramatically as he struggled to get up and looked at Ethan Blackwood. "Are you serious?"Ethan Blackwood didn't want to explain himself. In the next moment, Briggs realized that it was likely true. This guy had the ability to heal his master. After all, Liam had been cured by him. If he could heal his master, then he could save him. But instead, he was here causing trouble. "Mr. Ethan, I, Holland Brigg's, was wrong this time. Please, Mr. Ethan, don't hold it against me. Just punish me; my actions have nothing to do with my master. Do whatever you want with me. Please, you have to save my master." With a thud, Brigg's dropped to his knees in front of Ethan, bowing his head in apology. Bang! Bang! Bang! The ground shook with the sound of Briggs forehead hitting the floor, a visible blood mark appearing on his skin. Ethan B

What! The Moore family members were taken aback. "How dare he, Briggs!" Liam slammed his hand on the table in frustration. Uncle Adrian, also known as Adrian Jackson, who was still nursing his serious injuries nearby, looked equally confused. Why was his disciple here? Just then, a furious voice rang out from the doorway: "Liam Moore, you old fool! I heard my master was seriously injured, and yet you had the audacity to invite that injured person into the Moore family and even host a banquet for him!" With each word filled with anger, a group of men dressed in white martial arts uniforms entered, led by a middle-aged man brimming with vitality. His fists looked incredibly powerful, capable of easly taking down a professional security guard with just a few strikes. Surrounding him were a dozen or so men, clearly his disciples, who followed him in. Bang! After kicking a security guard aside, Briggs Holland turned to Liam and said, "Liam Moore." "What do you mean, Ho

"I have feelings for you, but even though we've been living together for four years, it's really just the beginning, isn't it? I want to give you a chance. I think, over time, I will truly come to like you, but not right now." "This angel heart necklace... I think I should keep it for now. I don't want you giving it to another woman. If one day I really do fall for you, then l'll wear this necklace and show up in front of you. How does that sound Jasmine peeked out, her eyes sparkling with a hint of hope as she asked. "Sounds good," Ethan nodded, though a pang of pain shot through his heart. He understood the reason behind her hesitation. Jasmine had lost her father in a car accident during college, making her the eldest in her family. She had always acted maturely. She had focused on her business studies and had never been close to any other boys. Perhaps he was the first. Because of that, she was inexperienced in this area, and at that moment, the powerful CEO felt like a li

"Actually, there's no need to go through all this trouble." Ethan stepped forward. "What's wrong, our dear son-in-law?" one of the women, Phoebe, asked warmly. Ethan was quite the catch himself. However, his words left everyone frozen in place. "In fact, the Moore family hasn't helped us as much as you think. The reason they partnered with Elite Group today is that their patriarch is seriously ill. I happened to come across an ancient remedy that eased his condition, so the Moore family owes me a favor." "When they asked what I wanted, I simply said I wanted a sky full of roses and a necklace. Beyond that, I didn't ask for anything else. Now, that favor has been repaid, and the Moore family is unlikely to assist us again. In fact, Morgan Moore probably won't even talk to me anymore, considering I'm just a nobody. " Ethan shrugged, "So, the partnership between Elite Group and the Moore family ends here. If you want to collaborate on development, you won't achieve much." "No,

At the back of the room stood an elderly man, around seventy years old, with a somewhat stern expression. This was Henry Thompson, the head of the Thompson family, also known as Wyatt. He stepped forward, intending to greet Jasmine Thompson, but she remained motionless, which made him want to explode with anger. "Niece, call me Grandpa," Piper Thompson, her uncle, urged. "Grandpa? Haven't I been disowned from the family? What right do I have to call you Grandpa? Don't you think?" Jasmine replied coldly. Yes, she had been disowned. Her entire family had been struck from the family tree. Call him Grandpa? Ha! "Uh... what happened back then was a misunderstanding. We were reckless, we were reckless.." Piper quickly interjected. At the same time, he shot a glance at Wyatt. Wyatt frowned, clearly reluctant, but still said, "Yes, a misunderstanding." "Niece, please let us in. It's not right to wait out here at the door, is it?" Piper continued. That makes sense!
