Lady Hart turned her head in confusion, and she sneered before she spoke, "What in the hell are you talking about?"

He spoke gently, making his every word sound creasy, "I said you can turn back, Lady Hart." He answered back.

A strand of sweat lingered around his forehead. He couldn't fathom what she would do next, but he stood his stance. If he could just avoid her coming here, maybe his wife wouldn't die like she did in his dream.
