"Are you surprised by my Magnificent Skills?" Franco teased, stepping closer to Edgar who started walking backward in fright.
He was still recovering from how Franco managed to take three MUSCULAR Men down all by himself. As Edgar continued walking backward, Elena walked in front of Franco, preventing him from making further movement. "What now, Elena?" Franco asked, smiling angrily. "You asked me to lick his feet, didn't you? That's what I'm about to do, allow me to do it in peace!" "That's enough, Franco" Elena said, her voice echoing in seriousness. "It doesn't matter how you learnt about those martial skills but that doesn't change the status of how things were between us..." "What are you trying to say?" Franco asked, getting back to his serious self. "Let's get Divorced, Franco!" She said, picking the Divorce papers from the floor. "Divorce again?" Franco's head swung repeatedly. He had honestly thought that Elena would give him a listening ear following the fact that he fought very well like a Ruffian, but she was still adamant about Divorce. "You seriously want to Divorce me because I am poor, right?" He asked, his tone swinging in emotions. "Yes!" Elena responded sharply. "I am divorcing you because you are poor!" "If you knew you'd be divorcing me, why make me stay with you all these years? Why did you defend me in front of your family? Why did you always give me allowances? Why..." "To cut the whole story short, Franco...", Elena cut him off, adding "I only kept you in this marriage because I wasn't ready to marry Edgar!" "I've been in this relationship with Edgar for many years now. It is true that we did break up and my uncle brought you for me to marry but I got back with him not longer than that and once Uncle died, I started arranging for Divorce!" "You've never contributed to my life! You only draw me down. You never motivate me! When I see you, I see poverty! So, why should I continue being in this marriage?" Hearing all these, Franco could have easily broken down but he's a Great MARTIAL Master so he can't break down. He had honestly thought that this marriage would be sweeter the moment he revealed his identity but now, he got to learn that Elena only cared about Money. As Elena finished her statement, Franco collected the Divorce papers from her. He stared at her eyeballs to eyeballs before saying "I have one last question for you, Elena" He said, raising the tension in the face of the guests. "I want you to give me an honest answer to this question!" He added and Elena keened up with an assuring smile "What is it?" She asked. "Did you ever for once love me?" He asked. Elena burst into laughter instantly. That was indeed a funny thing to say. In response, she made jest of him, "Never in my life, did I love you, Franco. There is only one person I love in this life and that is Edgar..." Elena hadn't even completed her statement when Franco put his hand in his chest pocket and brought out a pen. Without wasting time, he signed the Divorce papers! He raised them to their faces and said " I hope you don't REGRET divorcing me!" He dropped the papers instantly and walked out of the banquet. As he walked away, they all laughed at him, calling him "LOOSER!" He kindly ignored them and left the banquet. The moment he came out, someone presented him with some documents. He never knew what those documents were for. But before he could say a word, a voice spoke up "Will you marry me for $1 million per day?" Looking up, Franco's jaw dropped as he saw Muna Scott, the most beautiful lady in the whole world.

238. He Should Be Removed Immediately!
The silence that followed Franco’s threat was broken when Granny stepped forward. The tip of her walking stick struck the ground with a sharp crack, commanding attention. Her wrinkled face was stern, her eyes locked on Eddie.“What on earth are you thinking, boy?” she demanded. “Did you truly believe you could bring down the Lord? Do you have a death wish?”Eddie froze, his breath catching. Of all people, Granny was the last he expected to hear this from. He had thought she would show her resentment for Franco—maybe even stand beside him in tearing the man down. But her words revealed the opposite. She was siding with Franco. The realization stung like betrayal.“What are you saying, Granny?” Eddie’s voice shook with disbelief. “You mean to tell me I shouldn’t be doing this? Don’t you know who we’re talking about here? It’s Franco! The same useless man who once lived under your roof as a pauper. And now you defend him?” His voice rose, raw and incredulous. “You should be condemning hi

The whispers in the crowd still rippled like restless wind when Franco turned his cold eyes toward Eddie.“I love your audacity, Eddie. But…” His voice trailed, heavy with menace.“You should have learned from what happened to Rita,” Franco continued, his tone sharpening. “Her fate should have been enough warning—that no one speaks against the Ruffian Lord.”Eddie turned to him, fearless, his stare piercing through the weight of the threat.“So, what exactly are you trying to prove by that? That you’re above being spoken against?”He stepped closer, his voice gaining edge. “You should know better, Franco. Just because you were made the Ruffian Lord doesn’t mean you’re pure. Personally, I don’t see anything Ruffian about you. You don’t even deserve the position you’re standing on.”The words barely left his mouth when a metallic click cracked the air—guns cocked and aimed at Eddie’s head. The sharp sound froze the crowd. Breath caught in throats as everyone braced for the inevitable—a

As Rita collapsed, weak and fragile, the cameras instantly locked onto her face—the woman who had shaken the heart of the Lord. This had never happened before. Even Lord Xoxo himself was stunned. How could the Lord’s divine ears be moved by Muna’s words? The crowd whispered the same question, their voices rising in disbelief.Eddie only shook his head. He still couldn’t accept it. The very man he despised, mocked, and dragged through the mud—Franco—was now standing before them as the Ruffian Lord. The memory struck him like a blade. Months ago, Franco had challenged him to present a gift to the Scotts. Eddie brought fakes, confident in his scheme. Yet Franco had destroyed those gifts and—before everyone’s eyes—summoned Lord Xoxo to deliver treasures worth billions. Now it all made sense.Eddie’s lips trembled.“So… Franco was right that day? He wasn’t faking it? He… was the true genius?”His chest tightened. His thoughts dragged him back to that night.“And that night…”His pulse quic

But even with all her begging and desperate pleas, her mother’s body kept trembling under the assault of that terrifying power. Her words couldn’t reach Franco. They bounced off him as if they were nothing, and the sight of this made her lips quiver.“My words don’t reach the ears of the Lord… This isn’t the Franco I once knew. This version is merciless, unyielding. Why? Why can’t he hear me? Is he truly this wicked—or is he only taking his revenge on us?”As the thought left her trembling lips, she looked up again—and froze. Franco’s ears were glowing. Her head shook violently as she whispered to herself, trying to grasp the meaning of it.It wasn’t only her who was shaken. The people watching also asked themselves, their voices filled with dread.“Why is this happening? Why are the Lord’s ears glowing?”“This can’t be a good thing!”“No…this is bad, terribly bad!”“Is this a curse? A bad omen? What on earth is happening?!”Everyone had questions, yet not a single answer that could e

Elena’s lips quivered until her teeth began to chatter. She stood rooted, watching her mother convulse as if struck by lightning. Breath jagged, she tried to make sense of it all. “Franco is the—Franco is the Ruffian Lord?” The words came out broken, each syllable soaked in disbelief.Rita’s body shuddered under the invisible pressure. Maya threw herself to her knees before Franco and bowed her head until her forehead touched the floor. “My Lord, have mercy. Please—my mother didn’t mean to. She failed you; she failed to show you the honor you deserve. Spare her life.”Franco’s fists tightened. Mercy did not live on his face. He unleashed another searing orb; it struck Rita with bone-deep force. Her mouth hung open—soundless. She hovered between worlds: mind sharp, body betrayed by pain.Edgar staggered as if the revelation had knocked the breath out of him. “Franco… the Ruffian Lord?” he repeated to himself, as though saying it might bend reality.Maya’s voice cracked again. “Please,
