After carefully examining the earpiece in her hand, Muna shot Franco a sharp, dismissive glare. It was clear—whatever he said didn’t matter. Not his words, not the evidence. None of it was worth her time.

“I’ll just pretend I believe you, Franco,” she said coldly, clutching the earpiece tight before slipping it into her bag. She turned away, her expression unreadable.

“I’m leaving. Sign the divorce papers and get them to me. Don’t waste my time.”

With that, she walked off, heels clicking with finality. Franco clenched his fists as he watched her go, a storm swirling in his chest. All he wanted was for her to believe him—just once, even if it was the last time. But, as they say, everything has its time and season. Franco believed the truth would come out… eventually. Until then, he had a plan to follow.

His phone buzzed in his pocket.

It was a call from Dave.

“Hello, Dave...” he said, voice low.

“My Lord,” Dave greeted. “Just a reminder—the Award Show is tomorrow. You said you wanted i

That day changed everything.Billy had slipped into a coma for weeks, and though he eventually woke up—that same reason Eddie could even attend the award ceremony with Adam back then—his recovery had been a nightmare. Months had passed, but his bones refused to heal. He’d been confined to a hospital bed, stuck in a wheelchair, robbed of everything he once enjoyed. He missed the wild nights. The freedom. The parties. The girls. But Franco took that from him. And now, he lay there, a prisoner of his own shattered body, watching time pass while his youth wasted away.In his VIP ward, Billy stared ahead with a twisted look of anger, frustration boiling beneath his skin. His body mi

Franco's throat tightened as Aria's eyes locked on him. He could feel sweat forming beneath his collar despite the air-conditioning. Inside, panic stirred. If Aria recognized him now—recognized him as the Ruffian Lord—everything would unravel too soon.“You sure you know him?” Muna asked Aria with a playful squint. “I don’t recall telling you I got married to Franco. Or… did you see it in the news?”Aria slowly peeled her gaze off Franco and turned to Muna. “His face looks familiar,” she muttered. “Like someone I might have bumped into before. But I don’t really know him...”Her voice trailed off as she turned back to Franco, squinting hard—as if some memory was fighting its way to the surface.“Wait,” she said, narrowing her eyes further. “You’re telling me this man is your husband? Seriously, Muna? I don’t even know this guy. He’s a nobody. He’s not on any billionaire list. Not even a Forbes mention. Just… useless. Why would someone like you—rich, gorgeous, and accomplished—waste yo

  • 180. Aria's Arrival!

Franco watched Muna closely, his brows drawn as he noticed how her gaze hadn’t left her phone screen for minutes now. Her expression had softened into something between surprise and joy, and her lips kept twitching like she was holding back a smile.Curious, Franco leaned a bit forward, trying to catch her eyes. “I guess someone just got a sweet message from her crush, huh?” he teased, voice light but probing.Muna snapped out of her trance and looked up at him, her smile widening. “No, Franco,” she chuckled. “It’s not what it seems like!”Franco raised a brow, playful suspicion in his eyes. He signaled a waiter with a small wave and turned back to her. “Oh really? Then tell me—what does the message say? Because I know you well, and that kind of glow doesn’t come from a business deal.”Muna tucked a few loose strands of hair behind her ear and grinned. “Well, it’s not business related at all. The message is from my old friend—Aria. She just texted that she’s finally coming back from C

  • 179. Let's Meet Up At The Airport!

Muna immediately brought the phone down and ended the call. She glanced up at Franco with a quick, reassuring smile, the kind that looked sincere—if you didn’t know better.“It’s nobody, Franco!” she said sweetly. But on the other end of the line, Michael's blood boiled. He had clearly heard Franco’s voice in the background… and now Muna had the nerve to hang up on him? That simple click felt like a slap to the face. He gritted his teeth, gripping the steering wheel so hard his knuckles turned white.Meanwhile, Franco took a seat across from Muna, eyeing her curiously.“Nobody?” he repeated. “But I just heard you speaking to someone. You even said I’m your husband.”Muna reached over and gently rubbed his hand, keeping her smile warm and convincing. “Oh, it was just one of my aunties—a distant relation. She was trying to hook me up with some guy, asking if I was ready for marriage. I just reminded her that I’m already married—to you.” She gave a soft chuckle. “I would’ve said more if

  • 178. Who Is That?

“Get the car ready,” Muna said as she picked up her bag, throwing a bright smile at her grandmother. “Agreement is agreement.” Granny mirrored the smile. “Alright then! Have a great day ahead!” Muna waved goodbye and walked off. To the old lady, it was certain—Franco had no chance of winning the challenge. It didn’t even cross her mind that Muna would leak the location of the Ruffian Lord to him. And when the thought did sneak into her head, she brushed it off with a smug chuckle. Franco is nothing but a useless animal. He’ll get kicked out by the Ruffian Lord before he even sets eyes on him. Granny had carefully crafted that condition for Muna with one goal in mind: securing a rich, powerful husband for her granddaughter. Whether it ended up being the Ruffian Lord or the influential Eddie Watson didn’t matter to her. As long as Muna was married into money and status, it was all she cared about. Meanwhile, Muna was buzzing with excitement. She knew her grandmother too well. Gran

  • 177. I Refuse To Do It!

Hearing what Rita said, Edgar stepped forward, face lit up with enthusiasm. “That’s such a brilliant idea, Mother! Your plan is perfect!”Rita returned the smile, though the sight of Edgar always left a bitter taste in her mouth. Still, he was useful. Edgar never sided with anything that didn’t benefit him. He wasn’t in it for family—he was in it for fortune. He wanted wealth so loud and blinding it erased the memory of his former failures. And hearing Rita’s plan? It confirmed it. Franco's fame was their golden ticket, and Edgar was already calculating the numbers in his head.He turned to Maya. “Think about this, Maya. Your mother’s plan is genius. Did you hear what she said? We’re going to use Franco’s fame to rise to victory again!”Maya’s eyes lit up. “Exactly! You’re right, Edgar! This is the kind of opportunity that will raise our family back to the top.” She hurried to her sister and gently took her arm. “What do you think, sis? We’re going to get rich again—filthy rich!”“Let
