Caleb was visibly pleased after hearing Dyesi’s plan. Nothing terrified him more than the thought of his name being dragged through the mud—or worse, seeing the business that had brought him so much success crumble before his eyes.

Grinning with satisfaction, he gave Dyesi a firm pat on the shoulder. “You’ve really outdone yourself, Dyesi. I was almost convinced we’d have to cave in and give that idiot what he wanted. But now?
