CHAPTER 12

A broad but faint smile lit on Brenda's face as she anticipated Mrs Reid's response.

At the same time there was a consistent stomping of foot against the ground from no other person but Morphie, waiting for nothing else but a response from Mrs Reid.

She wasn't ready to lose this opportunity, all she needed was a sole positive response of yes from Mrs Reid.

Mrs Reid leaned back into her seat, with strokes of her fingers at consequent times against her lips. "Another chance you say." She straightened herself above the black leather seat, rested on her chin and told.

"What assurance would you tender to prove your capability on the next opportunity?"

"Mom! Are you really considering giving her another c…" with a dismissive wave, Mrs Reid stops Morphie's ranting midway.

Fuming with dissatisfaction, he had creases lined across his brow, his arms across his chest…

Ignoring him, Mrs. Reid's returned to her previous question. "Brenda! What is the assurance you've got to prove your capability?"
