Finn noticed that the examiner wasn’t here and that everyone was patiently waiting for the examination to start after looking around the examination room.

“Look, it’s that loser,” Cain said to his friends, pointing at Finn.

“For the past several years, he hasn’t managed to increase the count of magic energy his body can contain, yet he still has the face to come here.” Cain’s friend chided Finn in a rather loud voice that reached everyone’s ears.

Finn turned to look at the source of the familiar voice, only to see Rodriguez talking shit about him, and he kept on looking at him with a nonchalant expression.

“He’s just a fool who’s going to embarrass himself!” Cain exclaimed at the top of his lungs, feeling annoyed by his nonchalant expression.

A few students who thought Cain’s words to be funny laughed, pointing at Finn, uttering words of ridicule.

Finn huffed, rolling his eyes as he looked away from them while saying, “Still better than two street dogs barking at innocent passersby. And a bunch of retards laughing after hearing the barking of dogs.”

What followed after he said those words was pin-drop silence.

Not even a single student could come up with a way to retort him.

“You damned loser! How dare you act out!” Cain shouted, standing up from his seat with a face redder than a baboon’s butt, acting as if he was ready to use his ability to beat Finn to a pulp.

“Calm down, man. Don’t destroy your future over a loser.”

Cain sat down on his seat after hearing the words of his Rodriguez.

“Goddamn!” Cain wanted to vent his anger and frustration on Finn, but he couldn’t do that in a public place.

What if someone in the room records his actions and reports him to the association?

His entire future will be destroyed!

“Haha, damned fools,” Finn smirked, crossing his legs, awaiting the arrival of the examiner.

After a few moments, a young boy with spiky blonde hair walked up to Rodrigues and his group of friends, and said, “Say, Cain, where’s Quinn?”

“I don’t know, Jack,” Cain replied in an unfriendly tone. He wasn’t a part of their group because they were bullies, and that’s why Cain disliked Jack.

Jack was Quinn’s older twin brother.

He felt tense and worried, feeling as if something bad has happened to his younger brother since he hasn’t seen Quinn in hours.

“Uh, where did he go?” Jack walked away from the group of arrogant youngsters while saying those words.

Finn eavesdropped on their conversation but remained silent, having no intention to mention what happened to Quinn.

“Maybe he is still trapped inside that place? Hee, hee, hee!”

“That’s creepy.” One of the two students behind him flinched, moving away to sit at another place, while the other remained seated in his place, black bangs covering his forehead and eyes.

He was Rylan, a youngster with a tale of his own.

“When is the examiner going to arrive?” Rylan muttered under his breath while thinking, why am I even here? What the hell am I doing at the magician academy?

Several minutes later, once the gates of the Magician Academy closed and the magician at the age of sixteen age have gathered in the examination centers, a beautiful redhead with curves at the right place and perfect proportions entered the room with a pleasant smile on her face.

“My God! We’re so lucky to have Maeve Caelum as our examiner.”

The boys looked at the gorgeous woman with long and wavy red hair and ocean blue eyes with love in their eyes.

Maeve Caelum walked up the stairs and sat on the seat behind the large crystal table placed in the center of the room. She was wearing a white fur coat, a half sleeves T-shirt, skirt, and knee-high socks that exposed some parts of her smooth, milky white skin.

“She is as beautiful as they say.” A girl said in a tone tinged with jealousy and awe.

“Miss. Maeve is not only beautiful but is equally talented. She’s only 20 years old but has already reached the peak of energy channel opening realms. That’s not all. She’s also talented as an alchemist and is the dream of many young men.” A teenage girl with black hair and freckles on her face looked at the youngest magician instructor in history and exclaimed in a hurry.

Lisa was a hardcore fan of Instructor Maeve Caelum, and she couldn’t help herself but list out all the amazing thing her idol has done in twenty years of her life to the people around her.

“She has grown up to become a beautiful lady.”

Finn felt surprised as he looked at his childhood friend that has grown up to become a hot and mesmerizing girl with nice curves.

“Does she still remember me? I guess not. We belong to two different worlds, after all.”

He shook his head to get rid of the thoughts of befriending her as he could never be together with a person like her unless he performs impressive deeds and gain recognization as a magician.

“Silence! The entrance examination of the Magician Academy is about to start.”

Instructor Maeve’s voice amplified by magic energy spread throughout the room and entered the ears of every examinee.

“Finally.” Finn has been looking forward to this day for years.

A few moments later, once silence replaced the bustling environment of the examination room, instructor Maeve’s gaze swept across the examinees before she began speaking, “I will evaluate your magic energy capacity, affinity to abilities, strength, and speed to determine your level in the entrance examination. For now, we’ll begin with the test in which I will assess the magic energy capacity and ability affinity of your guys. Are you all alright with that?”

“Yes, ma’am.”

The students nodded their heads, agreeing with her decision as it was for the best.

“Good!”

After placing two mystical orbs of the same size but different designs on the crystal table, Instructor Maeve pointed at them, saying to the students.

She asked."What we are about to do next isn't suitable for someone like you to become a part of as you're only a magic lord. You'll be a dead weight to us, a weakness she can exploit to blackmail us." Finn said, meeting Freya's eyes with an overwhelmingly oppressive look. His gaze and words left her with no ability to resist, and the words about to come out of her mouth rolled back down her throat. They were about to slay a demonic god, a middle-ranked one, which was an act not only hazardous but also one in which only Magic Emperors and th

It wanted to take him down with it, so it attacked him more aggressively than ever. [Heroic shield] Finn created a golden shield and pushed it towards its fist. It was bigger than him but not as strong as him. Its blow failed to shatter the shield, which bounced back its fist and smashed into its chest, nearly throwing it off its feet. It stabilized itself and waved its hands at Finn with such speed that its hands left behind afterimages. 'So it has not been using its full strength.' Finn thought as his eyes narrowed and a thoughtful look appeared on his face, indicating that he was planning something. He was trying to come up with a way to end it for good. Other than the plant-type monster lord, the shortest route to the spider queen's chamber didn't have any other monsters. The only hurdle they faced in their journey was coming across poisonous mushrooms and plants. They didn't need to go around them as Finn, who was immune to the poison of such things, devoured them. The act of consuming them not only helped him gain new types of poison and increased the amount of different kinds of poison in his poison sacks, but it also shortened the time they needed to reach the chambers.Within three minutes, they reached their destination."What the heck is that?! It's too fucking tall!" Finn exclaimed while pointing at the anomaly in front of him.Freya replied, "It's the queen's strongest underling, Apex Hill Giant.""This name suits well for someone his size," Kris added. The one who was standing guard before the spider queen's chamber was the strongest monster lord in the unholy necropolis. The carnivorous plant-type monster found itself in a ridiculous situation. Its entire body was out in the open. It looked like a shriveled, deflated dick, one without might. Finn, Freya, and Kris were staring at it in the same way it would stare at its meals."It comes as a surprise to me that you can even do that."Kris had seen many abilities in his life, but he had not seen one like Finn's, which allowed its user to conjure up almost everything.Finn grinned at him and said, "I can do a lot of other things with my superpower, so don't let yourself be surprised by me later.""Alright, let's deal with it," Kris said as he raised his hand to kill the monster that Finn had immobilized. Before he could kill it, Finn hurriedly flew up to him, stopped him from unleashing his killing move from his hand, and said, "I want to add it to my kill count, so I hope you can let me make the last attack to take it down permanently."After hearing what Finn said, Kris lowered his hand and looked at h

"You overestimate yourself." Kris sneered as his purple eyes that held the stars within them brightened in a two-colored light, a mix of purple and black. What made the carnivorous plant-type monster believe that with its little capabilities, it could kidnap her in front of a sublime emperor twice? It wasn't even worth his effort as it was just a piece of garbage in his eyes, a tin can that he could squeeze and crush with a stomp. It, though, didn't realize that. He had no choice but to teach it the hard way.He activated the third version of his teleportation superpower.[Position Shift!]As the monster's vines reached close to Freya, her body disappeared from its spot and appeared right where Kris was standing. Boom! An ear-piercing explosion sounded as the toxic mushroom burst apart, pieces of soft green flesh flying across the air. Some crashed on Finn, some crashed on the ground and tumbled for a few meters, and some struck the inner walls of the dome created by Finn and slid down. All of them, in the next moment, evaporated into green mist. None of it escaped the dome. Freya was feeling scared and disturbed. Kris had told her that Finn was immune to poison. But was he really? And if he was, was he so immune to poison that even the thick poisonous would fail to harm him? She didn't have answered to these questions. She looked at what was ahead of her. While staring at the green mist that has camouflaged Finn, she wished he would come out fine from this situation. Kris wasn't as carefree as ever, and he had his eyes narrowed. Although there was only a subtle change in his expression, he looked completely different. With an emotionless and calm face, he looked like an indifferent person
