Kael landed on the depth of the hole with a dull thud, hitting his head and losing his consciousness.
The very next second, a deep voice sounded in the woods, one full of arrogance and indifference. “Serves him right for breaking the laws of the magicians.” Finn turned around to look at the source of the voice, only to see a young man with a tall figure and a head full of curly brown hair and eyes of the same color looking at him with a cold gaze and an expressionless face while standing with his back on the trees. “Quinn?!” Finn stammered in confusion as he looked at the strongest student of the magic school in front of him in a daze. Never in a million years would he have thought that Quinn would help him. He found it hard to believe that someone who has never interfered with his life for more than six years would suddenly save him from the hands of an awakened magician. Awakened Magician is a term used for magicians who can contain magic energy in their bodies and also possess an ability. “Hmm? What is it?” Quinn said those words without an ounce of change in his expression. His eyes remained cold and his face stiff and neutral. “Thanks for saving my life,” Finn said as he stood up from the ground and patted his pants and shoulder to dust himself off. Quinn was his childhood friend and but they parted ways after middle school as he grew up to become a talented youngster and the strongest magician of this magic school, while Finn happened to be the weakest magician. In the past six years, from middle to high school, he always remained neutral in matters concerning Finn, never interfering with his life. Even when Finn being ganged up on by a bunch of students, Quinn did nothing in the past to help him. But this time, he saved him for some reason. Of course, this came as a surprise to Finn! “Scram before his friends comes for you. I don’t wanna save your weak ass once again,” Quinn said, looking at him with an indifferent expression. As soon as those words left his mouth, Finn turned to leave in silence. A few moments later, once Quinn has turned around to walk back to the academy and spend the last day of his school life with his friends and best buddies, Finn’s shout reached his ears. “Thanks for the heads up.” Quinn shook his head, thinking in his head that the only reason he helped him was to repay the favor. There were definitely no feelings involved as he has not been friends with him for years and won’t be in the future either. Finn stepped deeper into the forest, passing through the path strewn with bushes and trees before stepping on the big rocks placed in the middle of a stream to cross to the other side, reaching a place only half a kilometer away from his home. Although today was the big graduation day, the weakest magician didn’t bother to stay at school like the rest of the magicians graduating from the magic school this year for two reasons. First off, he wanted to avoid Cain and his group of friends in any way possible. “Secondly, no magician would like to hang out with me. Ugh, it sucks to be weak.” In the world of magicians, strength determined a person’s social standing. It’s because the strong discriminate against magicians with little to no magic energy or weak abilities. They were also insignificant and dispensable in the eyes of the Magician Association. This society came into being ninety years ago. Ninety years ago, calamity descended upon Earth, one in which many people lost their lives. Unknown spatial tunnels suddenly formed at different points on the Earth. These tunnels connected Earth to the world of monsters, humanity’s worst nightmare. From these spatial tunnels, a blessing seeped into Earth. It is known as magic energy, a unique source of energy with endless advantages. But the blessing came along with a devastating misfortune. From these spatial tunnels emerged hideous-looking creatures with claws and teeth stronger than metal, massive tails, and thick hides which even bullets couldn’t damage. These creatures entered Earth after making their way out of the spatial tunnels and then spread out in all directions, attacking any life form in their sight, be it animal or human. They attacked indiscriminately, separating their victims into two pieces with a snap of their jaw, smashing them into a meat paste with their tail, and ripping them apart with their claws. Humanity fought back with all they had to stop the monsters from destroying their worlds. However, the monster’s hides happened to be so thick and their defense so ferocious that most modern weapons simply didn’t work against them. Guns were useless against them, but bombs worked. Of course, even that was useless against monsters that were fast enough to outrun an explosion or strong enough to endure one. Humanity was being pushed back under the assault of monsters when in those days, peoples with supernatural powers suddenly appeared. They were called magicians, owners of supernatural powers that were inaccessible to ordinary inhabitants of the Earth. Under the might of their supernatural abilities, monsters fell to the ground as easily as a hot knife passing through butter. After the appearance of magicians, it didn’t take long for the tide of battle to shift in humanity’s favor, and they carved a path with their abilities, killing tens of thousands of monsters, opening the way to the spatial tunnels near their bases. For the very first time in history, humans entered the spatial tunnels that have opened up in mountains, oceans, destroyed cities, and similar areas. They found out that the spatial tunnels connected to an entirely different world, which was inhabited by monsters far terrifying than the ones who invaded Earth. This world was named Eryndon!Latest Chapter
Chapter 367
"Let's go and slay that disgusting spider!"Seeing that the last Guardian of the Queen was dead, Freya came out of her hiding spot and rushed towards the gates to open them. However, golden tides rose from under her feet and spiraled around her, restraining her from advancing further. It was Finn who had immobilized her."You'll be staying here," Finn said to Freya; his voice, although calm, sounded more like an unchangeable command to her."Why?" She asked."What we are about to do next isn't suitable for someone like you to become a part of as you're only a magic lord. You'll be a dead weight to us, a weakness she can exploit to blackmail us." Finn said, meeting Freya's eyes with an overwhelmingly oppressive look. His gaze and words left her with no ability to resist, and the words about to come out of her mouth rolled back down her throat. They were about to slay a demonic god, a middle-ranked one, which was an act not only hazardous but also one in which only Magic Emperors and th
Chapter 366
Only an instant passed before cracks appeared all over its body. It looked like a crumbling mountain. Finn did not doubt that it would move on to the afterlife soon. It wanted to take him down with it, so it attacked him more aggressively than ever. [Heroic shield] Finn created a golden shield and pushed it towards its fist. It was bigger than him but not as strong as him. Its blow failed to shatter the shield, which bounced back its fist and smashed into its chest, nearly throwing it off its feet. It stabilized itself and waved its hands at Finn with such speed that its hands left behind afterimages. 'So it has not been using its full strength.' Finn thought as his eyes narrowed and a thoughtful look appeared on his face, indicating that he was planning something. He was trying to come up with a way to end it for good. First, he must avoid getting hit by it. [You've activated instant acceleration!] It was attacking Finn endlessly, but he kept running out of the trajector

Other than the plant-type monster lord, the shortest route to the spider queen's chamber didn't have any other monsters. The only hurdle they faced in their journey was coming across poisonous mushrooms and plants. They didn't need to go around them as Finn, who was immune to the poison of such things, devoured them. The act of consuming them not only helped him gain new types of poison and increased the amount of different kinds of poison in his poison sacks, but it also shortened the time they needed to reach the chambers.Within three minutes, they reached their destination."What the heck is that?! It's too fucking tall!" Finn exclaimed while pointing at the anomaly in front of him.Freya replied, "It's the queen's strongest underling, Apex Hill Giant.""This name suits well for someone his size," Kris added. The one who was standing guard before the spider queen's chamber was the strongest monster lord in the unholy necropolis. It was extremely tall. It was sitting cross-legged,

The carnivorous plant-type monster found itself in a ridiculous situation. Its entire body was out in the open. It looked like a shriveled, deflated dick, one without might. Finn, Freya, and Kris were staring at it in the same way it would stare at its meals."It comes as a surprise to me that you can even do that."Kris had seen many abilities in his life, but he had not seen one like Finn's, which allowed its user to conjure up almost everything.Finn grinned at him and said, "I can do a lot of other things with my superpower, so don't let yourself be surprised by me later.""Alright, let's deal with it," Kris said as he raised his hand to kill the monster that Finn had immobilized. Before he could kill it, Finn hurriedly flew up to him, stopped him from unleashing his killing move from his hand, and said, "I want to add it to my kill count, so I hope you can let me make the last attack to take it down permanently."After hearing what Finn said, Kris lowered his hand and looked at h

"You overestimate yourself." Kris sneered as his purple eyes that held the stars within them brightened in a two-colored light, a mix of purple and black. What made the carnivorous plant-type monster believe that with its little capabilities, it could kidnap her in front of a sublime emperor twice? It wasn't even worth his effort as it was just a piece of garbage in his eyes, a tin can that he could squeeze and crush with a stomp. It, though, didn't realize that. He had no choice but to teach it the hard way.He activated the third version of his teleportation superpower.[Position Shift!]As the monster's vines reached close to Freya, her body disappeared from its spot and appeared right where Kris was standing. Meanwhile, he appeared in the exact same spot she was an instant ago.The monster was somewhat shocked to see how he so easily brought its prey to safety, but it didn't let it show through its actions or emotions. Its vines advanced towards him, intending to kidnap him. It di

Boom! An ear-piercing explosion sounded as the toxic mushroom burst apart, pieces of soft green flesh flying across the air. Some crashed on Finn, some crashed on the ground and tumbled for a few meters, and some struck the inner walls of the dome created by Finn and slid down. All of them, in the next moment, evaporated into green mist. None of it escaped the dome. Freya was feeling scared and disturbed. Kris had told her that Finn was immune to poison. But was he really? And if he was, was he so immune to poison that even the thick poisonous would fail to harm him? She didn't have answered to these questions. She looked at what was ahead of her. While staring at the green mist that has camouflaged Finn, she wished he would come out fine from this situation. Kris wasn't as carefree as ever, and he had his eyes narrowed. Although there was only a subtle change in his expression, he looked completely different. With an emotionless and calm face, he looked like an indifferent person
