Shaun instantly found himself back in his old world, facing his bullies, who had cornered him yet again. "Enough," the baron snapped, causing everyone to fall silent. "Shaun, explain yourself.""I have no clue, sir. I've never met the prince before," Shaun said as he kept his head down.It wasn't a lie. Instantly, everything had gone back to normal. Shaun was no longer looking at himself and his demonic looking bullies. He blinked several times as he looked for someone who had spoken up. His eyes fell on a familiar man. It was one of the other heroes. Shaun hadn't expected any of them to step up and interfere when the majority of the heroes were in the same group.A part of him felt bitter. Back in his first life, no one had stepped up for him. Everyone always looked away, as they had been afraid to be the new target if they interfered. Of course he would have done the same, but it still left a bitter aftertaste knowing that no one had been willing to help him.
