CHAPTER THIRTY

Owen still edo is seat as he heard the voice from behind him. He needed not be informed that it was the person he was here for, James Dortmund.

He turned to look at the man, and he concluded within him that the reason why the secret passage door was large was because of this man’s size and not because of the other workers.

He was bulky and well built and he had a stoic expression on his face, Owen knew from that look that he wasn’t welcome, but he choose not to be intimidated. He was middle aged and his hair was a mixture of black and grey and he was dressed in a white tuxedo shirt coupled with a fine black denim jean and a casual slipper. Owen observed him for a while as different scenes filled his mind as he thought of what would happen if things go south.

His guards would not make it on time and before he would be able to raise any alarm, he would be long dead. He knew he was on unsteady grounds so he had to move cautiously.
