TRYING HIS NEWFOUND ABILITY
The room was silent as the graveyard, they could only hear the faint beeping of the heart monitor and the soft, labored breathing of the young lady lying on the bed. She looked fragile, her skin pale and her lips dry. Tubes and wires connected her to various machines, each one a reminder of how critical her condition was. Ethan stood at the foot of the bed, his golden eyes fixed on her. He could feel the weight of the moment, the gravity of what he was about to do. Beside the bed stood the young lady’s suitor, Nico Wharton, a man in his late twenties with a sharp jawline and an air of arrogance. He was dressed in a tailored suit, his posture stiff and his expression was that of disdain. Next to him was the doctor he had brought—a man in strange, almost ceremonial robes that seemed out of place in the sterile environment of the ward. The doctor’s face was unreadable, his eyes hidden behind thick and black glasses. Ethan ignored them both. His focus was entirely on the young lady. He stepped closer to the bed, his movements deliberate. The suitor’s eyes narrowed, and he stepped forward, blocking Ethan’s path. “What do you think you’re doing? Where do you think you're going?∆” the suitor, Nico Wharton demanded, his voice sharp. “You can’t just barge in here and….” Ethan didn’t let him finish. With a single, fluid motion, he drew a small knife from his pocket and sliced his palm. Adam’s eyes widened in shock at his action as a drop of blood welled up from the cut. The blood was unlike anything he had ever seen—it shimmered with a faint, iridescent glow, as if it contained the colors of a rainbow. Before anyone could react, Ethan leaned over the bed and let the drop of blood fall onto the young lady’s dry lips. Nico Wharton gasped in horror, his face twisting in disgust. He tried to stop him but his blood had entered into the young lady's mouth. “What the hell is wrong with you?” he shouted, his voice rising. “Do you have any idea how unsanitary that is? What if you have some kind of disease? Look at that blood. It’s not even normal!” He glanced at the woman and the housekeeper, “Is this the doctor you are referring to? Look at how dirty and unkempt he looks! It is shameful you can't differentiate between a doctor and a miscreant.” Ethan fumed in anger, he glanced at the young man dangerously. His eyes blazed with fire but didn't bother to say anything. “You shouldn't look down on him! He is a Divine Doctor! You should insult me and not him!” Samantha, the woman who brought Ethan into the house, couldn't stand Nico's attitude anymore. She snapped back at him angrily. Nico Wharton sneered disparagingly, and stared down at Ethan in disdain. “Divine Doctor? You must be joking! Are you out of your mind? How can this miscreant be a doctor? If anything happens to my fiance, I'm going to sue you!” He blurted, his voice rising. Ethan didn’t respond at whatever they were saying. He simply watched as the drop of blood seeped into the young lady’s lips. Fuming in anger, Nico Wharton turned to the housekeeper, who had been standing quietly by the door. “Get him out of here!” Nico Wharton snapped. “This is completely unacceptable. I won’t stand for this kind of barbaric behavior in my presence.” The housekeeper hesitated, glancing at Ethan. He clearly didn’t want to intervene, but Nico's anger was impossible to ignore. Reluctantly, the housekeeper stepped forward and gently touched Ethan’s arm. “Sir Siegfried,” he called quietly, “perhaps it would be best if we stepped outside for now.” Ethan nodded, his expression calm. He didn’t argue or resist. He simply turned and followed the housekeeper out of the ward, leaving Nico and the strange doctor behind. As they got out of the room, Samantha felt uncomfortable. Her eyes were filled with curiosity and a hint of concern. “Why did you do that?” she asked. “I know your blood is special, but… was that really necessary?” Ethan didn’t answer right away. He stopped in front of the transparent glass window that looked into the ICU ward. Through the glass, he could see the young lady lying on the bed. Her face, which had been pale and lifeless just moments ago, was now beginning to regain its color. Her breathing, once weak and shallow, was becoming steady and strong. Samantha followed his gaze, her eyes widening as she saw the change. “Is that…?” she began, but her voice trailed off. Ethan nodded. “My blood is not ordinary,” he said, his voice low and confident. “I am the descendant of the dragon-slaying hero, Siegfried. My blood has always had special properties, but now, after bathing in dragon blood, it has become something even more powerful. In ancient times, it would have been called a panacea—a cure for all ailments.” The woman stared at him, her mind racing. “So… you knew it would work?” “Yea, I knew,” Ethan replied. “The young lady’s weakness was caused by her prolonged coma. My blood has not only healed her body but also strengthened it. She is now stronger than an adult male.” As if to confirm his words, the electrocardiogram beeped loudly indicating the change in the young lady's heart. Her heartbeat, which was slow and faint, had begun to beat at a normal rate. Samantha was stunned and couldn't explain how a drop of blood can change everything. “This is really wonderful. You are very special, Siegfried”

RUNESThe tension in the ward was palpable. Everyone's heart beating erratically. The young lady lay on the bed, her breathing steady but her spirit still trapped in the grip of the curse.Ethan stood at her side, his golden eyes glowing faintly as he examined the young lady. The housekeeper, Samantha, and Nico Wharton —the three of them watched him intently, each with their own thoughts and fears.Ethan glanced back at them and broke the silence. “I can remove the curse,” he said, his voice calm but firm. “But it will require carving runes on her body using my blood. It’s the only way to break the curse completely.”This was the method his mother taught him when he was a child and the power of the Dragon blood, he knows every knowledge about it.Upon seeing this, Nico Wharton’s face turned red with anger. He stepped forward, his fists clenched. “You expect us to believe that?” he spat.“This is outrageous! You’re just trying to take advantage of her while she’s vulnerable. I won’t al

Ethan's fingers trembled as he gripped its cold, metallic edge on the man's face with all of his power. He had expected resistance—some mechanical lock or invisible force—but this was different. The mask breathed. It pulsed faintly against his touch, like a second skin bound by will, not metal. He was astounded at this revelation, and he wondered how possible this could be. He tried pulling with all his strength again, but he wasn't successful. The mask was like a rock that couldn't be pulled easily from its position. A thrum of dark energy rippled through the air as if something ancient coiled within the villain’s flesh, guarding his identity like a venomous sentinel.“This isn’t just an ordinary mask,” Ethan muttered to himself. “It's something more! Something I can't even explain!" Before he could process it further, Rebecca grabbed his arm and pulled him aside, her grip firm. Her usually composed face was tight with fear and worries. Ethan, fazed by her actions, snatched his

"What are you waiting for? Get out! You don't deserve me anyways, you are just useless!” She spat disparagingly. “Okay then, I hope you don't regret your decision, Celine!" He muttered, his heart heavy with hurt and disappointment. With that, he opened the door and stepped out into the hallway, leaving behind the life he had once known. As soon as Ethan walked out of the office, the secretary approached Celine, placing a comforting hand on her shoulder."Don't worry," he said. "Your future husband will be someone extraordinary. Someone who deserves you. Not garbage like him."Ethan leaned back in his chair, his eyes narrowing slightly. "Business is business," he said calmly. “Hello, why are you disturbing me, Celine?" His voice tinged with annoyance. On the other end, his wife’s voice was sharp and furious, each word dripping with anger and accusation. “You miscreant, where have you been? I have been trying to reach you but to no avail. Do you switch off your phone because of me? Are you trying to make me angry?” Ethan chuckled at his wife's irate words. He totally forgot he had thrown his phone out of the helicopter earlier. The reason she could get through to him. “I found the woman’s contact information through the helicopter that had taken him away. Who the fuçk is that woman? Why is a helicopter here because of you?” Celine demanded, “I don't think you need to be concerned about that. We are not together anymore, you don't deserve to know anything!” Ethan mumbled. Celine was fuming over the phone, she never expected to speak to her in that manner. “You’re a coward, Ethan,” she spat, her voice trembling with rage. “You can’t even face reality

He had known this man for years, but now he stood before him as an adversary, a representative of his wife's new empire. The sleek, modern office was silent except for the faint hum of the air conditioning. Ethan, a man in his early thirties with sharp features and a calm demeanor, sat behind his mahogany desk. His fingers tapped lightly on the polished surface as he held the phone to his ear. The voice on the other end was tense, almost anxious."How is our deal going?" Ethan asked, his tone steady but laced with authority and power. There was a brief pause before the voice replied, "We agreed before that we would help your wife's company go public, and you would give me what we need, right?"Ethan leaned back in his chair, his eyes narrowing slightly.
