Chapter 5

[I'll give you a chili powder and a spare key, use it at the right time]

Pavel didn't understand, a key? How could that be, but the moment the system didn't speak anymore, Pavel felt his hand full, this was very strange and it felt like powder and solid objects.

Pavel peeked at his right hand containing chili powder and the blue hand a key, Pavel forgot his confusion and looked for a way to escape.

He saw Sergei standing right in front of him, if the chili powder was given to Sergei alone then the other friends would chase Pavel. Pavel then thought of a way.

"You cowards! Come closer, I'll teach you a lesson!" Pavel said arrogantly.

Sergei and his friends approached and kicked Pavel, "Is he crazy?" said one of them then laughed, Pavel took the opportunity to notice that everyone had gathered.

"You bastards!" Pavel screamed and threw chili powder into their eyes. Everyone screamed in pain, the sting was enough to torment the eyes and heat the brains.

Pavel quickly opened the door with the key the system gave him and it worked. Pavel held his stomach and ran outside, he met the boss who was standing outside.

"Pavel!" Pavel ignored him and immediately returned home with a limp. His body seemed to be crumbling making every movement create a different kind of pain.

Arriving home, Pavel immediately laid down. He sighed, feeling that he had survived the accident. Sergei's behavior had gone too far, he should be in jail.

Pavel held his aching head, there was a small lump just to the left of his head. Pavel tried to massage it lightly but it was very sore and painful.

Pavel stopped what he was doing and looked for an oil that could help to ease the pain, when he found the oil, Pavel then applied the oil to his slightly swollen head.

His head was still very dizzy and painful, Pavel tried to lend his eyes, but all failed because of the pain that pierced into the brain.

Pavel remembered the system that helped him, could the system cure headaches too?

'System,' called Pavel

[Yes, I am here]

'Why can you help me like before?'

[I can help you once a day depending on your level]

'Then can you help me now'

[No I already helped you earlier, I can help you again tomorrow]

'Alright'

Pavel was disappointed, he thought that the system could relieve his headache, the headache was getting more and more painful and made Pavel feel like dying there was no other way.

Pavel had to go to the hospital, Pavel took his cell phone to call the ambulance, then a few moments later the call was connected, "Can you come here?" Pavel said then Pavel mentioned the address in detail.

Pavel closed his eyes, hoping that once he opened his eyes the pain would go away. A few minutes later the ambulance arrived, they were looking for Pavel who was unconscious in the room.

Immediately carrying Pavel, Pavel felt like his body was lifted. He saw a blur of white clothes. It was the nurse who was going to help him, Pavel lost consciousness.

Arriving at the hospital the doctors gathered to see Pavel's condition, they saw that Pavel's head was slightly fractured, surgery had to be done before it got worse.

"It's cracked, we have to operate immediately."

"Yes, why did his head crack like this? Did he have an accident?"

"It looks like a blow."

"Prepare the operating room and contact the patient's family."

Pavel faintly heard the Doctor's conversation, Pavel felt dizzy and couldn't open his eyes at all, but he knew that he had to undergo surgery because of Sergei's friends.

They were too cruel as if they wanted to be feared by everyone, the pent-up resentment began to flow specifically towards Sergei.

'Your system can help me, right'

[Yes of course, just say it]

Pavel smiled creepily in his sleep, 'we'll see Sergei you'll suffer."

Pavel slowly opened his eyes, the bright light immediately ignited making him a little dizzy. Pavel looked around, there was only silence.

A sudden pain attacked Pavel's head, he winced in pain. The nurse who came when she saw Pavel woke up immediately helped and gave Pavel painkillers.

Pavel calmed down again, he no longer felt the pain. "I'll call a doctor, you have to lie down," said the nurse then left Pavel.

Pavel looked at the departure of the figure next to him. Had no relatives come to visit him, the room was too quiet, wasn't it?

After a few minutes, the nurse came with the promised doctor. "You have to rest, the surgery has not healed yet," the doctor said and Pavel nodded.

Then the doctor left, the nurse returned to adjust the IV worn by Pavel.

"I called your mother, she must be happy to hear that her son is awake."

"My mom came to see me?" asked Pavel in a low voice.

"Yes, she just came home and you woke up. You should rest, if anyone is sick just press the red button next to you." Pavel nodded and looked at the red button on the right side of the bed.

[You have 23 hours left to complete the mission]

Pavel held his head, when the system in the head spoke it made it hurt even more

'Why is it that when you speak, my head always hurts?'

[If you tell me to relieve the pain I can, your pain is because you are not used to it]

'Eliminate it.

Pavel was already suffering from the head surgery, if coupled with the system's voice made him unable to bear it anymore.

Pavel recalled that the time was only 23 hours and he hadn't gotten out of the hospital at all, how to spend money that couldn't even walk yet.

'Can't you increase the time, I can't move at all.'

[No, you have to do it otherwise you'll die]

Pavel sighed, he was figuring out how to spend the money he got. But could dying really be that easy?

A few moments later Pavel's mother came, with a worried face and tears flowing down to Pavel who was lying down.

"Why are you always in the hospital?!" sad his mother while watching his son's face.

"Ah, I'm sorry," said Pavel then the mother sat near Pavel. She clasped her son's hand, the worry in her now slowly began to fade.

"I know this is your coworker's doing, get out of your job," pleaded the woman who was looking at Pavel with excessive fear.

"You don't have to worry mom, I'll do it," Pavel replied trying to calm her heart.

Pavel recalled the system's command, to help people in need. Pavel knew that his family was poor, he could probably tell his mother to use her money appropriately.

"Mom, do you have money?" Pavel asked and his mother wiped his wet cheeks.

"You don't have to worry, mom has savings to pay the hospital bills." Pavel shook his head slowly, that's not what he meant, he wanted to give his mother money.

"No mom, I have the money to pay for the hospital, have you paid Kseniya's school fees?" The woman looked down and then shook her head slowly, Pavel knew that, he now had the money to do so and help the family.

However, is helping one's own family included in the system's orders. 'System, is helping my family a mission that can be completed?'

[I can't answer that]

Pavel let out a frustrated sigh, but getting five million was enough right? No, he couldn't die before taking revenge, Pavel had a plan that was just revealed in his mind.

"Mom, you can help me, right?" Pavel asked and she nodded.
