It had been three days since Quin had the encounter with Malcolm Clifford, and even though he knew that the old man was stubborn, he was convinced that he must have learned his lessons. While he drove through the lonely road that night after he had gone to pick up some herbs he had been in search of, he noticed something quite unusual that made him slow down a bit. There were about five car following him, and even though the headlights were off, he could tell that the cars were after him.
