Chapter 04: Rewards.

"System, open up the reward," Eric muttered under his breath just as the doctor ran out of the ward.

Soon, an interface popped up in front of Eric and a mechanical voice rang in his head.

"Would the host like to receive the reward?"

"Yes."

[Rewards: Two thousand points, ten million dollars, and The Peninsula Hotel. The money has been deposited directly into the Host's account, and the property has already been bought, all important documents have also been signed.]

"Remarks: Host would be rewarded randomly for each mission."

Eric's mouth curled up into a smile seeing this, his system was sure generous. The Peninsula Hotel was a five-star hotel and one of the most luxurious hotels in the whole city.

"System, show me my stats," Eric muttered.

Remarks: You're jobless and also have no skills, you'd better kill yourself out of shame. It was no wonder your girlfriend left you.

Remarks: The mission would be appointed at Random, host would receive rewards according to performance.

Eric shook his head looking at the stats of the system. The only thing that had changed was the number of points he had. Two thousand points were from the reward of the mission, while the other was from Katie's feelings.

"Open, system mall," Eric said after some time.

He'd better strengthen himself cause at the moment, he had no skills whatsoever to defend himself.

But then looking at the ridiculous amount of points needed to redeem each point, he almost gave up at once.

"System, is there an ability suitable for me at the moment?" Eric couldn't help but ask as he was tired of checking.

"Considering the host is weak as a chicken, the thing to do is to improve the host's physical abilities, so the best ability for the host at the moment is this." The System's voice rang in Eric's head and soon, a skill appeared in front of Eric inside the system mall.

"Nope, I'm all good, can I go now." Eric shook his head and jumped off from the bed.

"Sure, you can go." The doctor nodded as he looked at Eric in shock.

The latter was just too energetic for someone who had just survived a ghastly accident.

"Alright, I won't be polite." Eric smiled and walked out of the ward.

"We'll meet later, beautiful." Eric grinned as he looked at Katie before walking out of the ward.

"Sir, look at this." One of the doctors said pointing at the place Eric had just landed.

Everyone froze as they looked at the tiles at that spot. At the moment, there was a crack in the tiles, it was more like a crater, but it was small.

"No one is allowed to mention what happened in this room to anyone." The doctor frowned as he said, turning to look at orders.

He could tell that Eric was no ordinary person for him to be able to make such a crater just by jumping off the bed.

Maybe he was one of those special forces of the country, or else he wouldn't have been able to survive with that ridiculous amount of injuries and be fine now.

"Yes sir." The other doctors nodded and quickly walked out of the ward to perform their duties.
