6 - Investment from Zaydels

“Give me all the details pertaining to the current situation of the companies and wealth. All of it immediately, and don’t forget anything which might seem insignificant.” Sahan knew that either way his family must have had some strings attaching to the Lind and Carter families. He just had to find and pull them before cutting!

“Marco?” Sahan called him when he appeared by his side. “I want a list of all those companies which are linked with the Carters and Linds. Every one of them.” He had a plan and it was not something based on a teeny tiny revenge. Sahan wanted to crush them all. 

“Yes, young master.” Marco immediately headed out, leaving him alone in the study room. Mr Zaydel, Sahan’s father was away and before he could come back and announce him as the heir; he wanted to set the ground for his master plan. 

There was no way he was going to leave Jenny Lind and Danny Carter off the hook. They all needed to pay 6 times the damage they had done to him. And Sahan was all set on how to execute it, all he required was some time to place all the chess pieces.

Sitting in the study room he tucked his back with the chair. A loud and devilish laughter reverberated in the empty room. “Just wait and see the show! I will make sure you all wish to not be born in my era! Nobody can mess with Asrahan Zaydel! Nobody!”

[A few days later]

“What do you mean by this? The AZ wants to invest in our business when it is practically dying?” Jenny’s father and uncle were in a meeting with some other men clad in black. Their business had been gradually dying, they were at the verge of bankruptcy which was why they wanted help from the Caters. 

It was the reason why Jenny was appointed to seduce Danny Carter and get him to invest in their company. But it appeared that she was having a hard time wrapping Danny around her pinky for investment. Only if she had known what big shark she had lost by breaking up with Sahan.

“And how come I have never heard of any company in the world bearing the acronym AZ as a name? I have been into this nasty business world for long enough to recognize any and every new company too. And I’ve never seen a company bearing this weird acronym as a name, who is willing to invest such a big sum out of nowhere.”

The men clad in black were sent by Sahan who wanted to invest money in Jenny’s father’s business. They were supposed to convince the arrogant man into accepting the tempting offer. However, as far as the mysterious company was concerned nobody could blame him. It was expected, as only the heirs to the Zaydel Consortium knew how much power, influence and wealth they controlled.

There were not only big and small hooks under the particular name, but also several widely acclaimed businesses. The Zaydel Consortium didn’t just consist of bigshot companies alone. Wealthy posh districts, globally acclaimed brands, top certified hotels, and several mineral mines and oil wells were all part of the Zaydel Consortium, with the heir having an unimaginable power.

“Pardon our incompetence, sir.” One of the men pulled out some files and placed them over the table. Meanwhile, Boris and Saikus sat there in disbelief as they went through the files. The signatures indicated AZ which they did not know but what they could recognise was the parent company. Both of them looked at the men in black who stood there in a line like bodyguards.

“This…. This company belong to the Zaydel consortium? Are you nuts? Is this a prank? Why would such a mighty corporation bother to invest in our small business? It would add nothing significant to their wealth. Give me a good reason to believe this scam.” Boris closed the file and challenged the men who were prepared for this kind of interrogation.

“We have no authority to proceed with this kind of request, sir. But if you wish to inquire ahead, Mr Zaydel would like to meet you to satisfy your curiosity. Tomorrow at sharp nine, at the AZ corp. Please, respect his time.” One of the men reached for the file and spoke all that before leaving. Both of the men from the Lind family were left with two choices.

Either they could believe it was a scam and forget it. Or they could visit the corp and check it for themselves, it could have been their golden chance to save their company. However, they both knew that if the Zaydel company wanted to invest in theirs; they would not hold back from clawing the bigger share in the deal.

Only if they had known what was coming for them! Asrahan/Sahan Zaydel wanted to ruin them all completely. After all, a well fed sacrifice is a good pick. He was doing the same with the Lind family, investing in them and pulling them on the ladder only to later deprive them of all the wealth. As for the Carters he had something else planned. Sahan was playing by taking advantage of their vulnerable times. 

Meanwhile the Lind family men had their own plans, they wanted to send Jenny to the corp assuming that she would be able to seduce the guy. After all, who would keep their hands off such a beauty? Jenny was indeed an epitome of beauty, tall, slim, blonde with green eyes, a rare combination for whom every single man out there would fall. 

What if she could score the deal or more by seducing the person who was dealing? Then the Lind family could extort more than that in a short time and rise easily. They had Jenny prepared to meet Mr Zaydel tomorrow and figure out if the parent company behind the AZ corp was really the Zaydels or not.
