"I know that you are not one to lie to me but I'm finding it hard to believe that what you're telling me is true" Orie said
"If a priest really died, I would've felt it and so would you and every other priest"
"It's the one thing we share"
"But that didn't happen, did it?"
"That's what I'm trying to tell you" Nega replied
"His death was confirmed yet I felt nothing"
"But that's not even the worst part" he said
"So what is the worst part?" Orie asked, then Nega stayed silent for a while before answering
"His entire province" he said
"Everywhere that received the blessing of his god is in great despair"
"There has been drought from the southern borders of Dahüd down to the coastal areas of the continent and it is getting worse by the day"
"It's quite normal" Orie replied
"The drought will only last until a new priest succeeds him and that only takes a few days" he said as he placed his hand on Nega's shoulder.
"Do you think I don't know that?" Nega replied as he pushed away Orie's hand in anger
"Matéo has been dead for more than a week and nothing has changed"
"Wait a sec" Orie said with surprise
"Do you mean Matéo Cortez?" He asked and Nega replied him "Yes"
"Oh no" he said as he fell to his knees
"This is bad"
" This is really bad"
Matéo was the priest of the god named Chaac, a god that had power over rain, storms, and agriculture. The death of Mateo meant that everything that the god Chaac had blessed the people with will be taken away until a new priest is chosen by the god. This normally takes less than four days and there isn't much damage done so if a new priest is yet to be chosen after more than a week, then something is wrong somewhere.
What made the situation much more severe was that Mateo had the largest province among the priests. His province covered more than five countries and that meat that at the moment, there were about five countries that were larger than Dahüd experiencing droughts and famines
Everyone that listened in on the conversation couldn't keep a straight face. It was hard to imagine being in such a bad condition.
"So what do we do now?" Orie asked
"I don't know" Nega answered
"That's why I called you"
"The other priests wouldn't answer no matter what message I sent"
"You are good at figuring things out so I called you"
"This is something we have to figure out before worse things start happening"
Orie stayed silent for a while with his eyes closed, deep in thought as he rubbed his beardless chin.
"Matéo was killed, right?" He asked as he raised his head up towards Nega and received a nod of affirmation.
"This is not something I'm completely sure about" he said
"But I think we should find his killer and see if we can figure out the circumstances surrounding his death"
"You don't need to come after me" a voice said from outside
"I'm the one doing the hunting"
They looked around but they saw no one, then Natsumi fell to the ground and they all noticed the clear mist that was rising in the room. Everyone held their breaths but it was already too late, they had already inhaled enough of the odorless gas to lose all their strength.
"Wait a minute" Shiro said to himself as he struggled to keep his feet on the ground.
"I know this voice" he thought as he fell to the ground alongside others.
"Genji"
"It's definitely Genji"

When the ice queen laughs
"well, Mr Addison" Ellie said as the camera faced Orie. "What are your thoughts on the current state of the match?" "I'm really not sure" Orie replied "To be honest, this is the first time I've seen Her like that so I don't actually know what to expect" "But if I had to take a guess..." "... I'd say I'm glad she wasn't like this in our match" Natsumi missed her first strike, and her second, and her third, and her fourth, and... all her strikes, she missed all of it. As it turns out, Kurobe had quite the reflex and was really good at evasion and keeping the distance. Every time Natsumi got close, he quickly evaded and put distance between them, pushing her back, attacking from blind spots, setting walls between them and a Whole lot of moves that prevented him from getting hit but that didn't stop his opponent from trying. With each passing second, Natsumi got closer to landing a hit on Kurobe. At first it was him feeling the little breeze as her fist fle
Cold hard truth
Many things can anger a fighter. An opponent that toys with them, someone that just won't stay down and in many cases, a direct insult. But none of those things were happening to Kurobe, he was facing something far more annoying; an opponent that isn't paying attention to him. At first glance, it looked like Kurobe was dominating the match without giving his opponent any chance to counter, but there were many times since the beginning of the fight where Natsumi would have been able to strike back but did nothing instead. She had barely moved from where she was standing at the start and she was in deep thought. All Natsumi did from the beginning of the match was to fend off the incoming attacks while thinking about what Orie had said to her. "I have finally seen your true self" "I finally know you" She couldn't muster up the courage to ask him what he meant because she was too afraid of his answer. She was afraid of the truth. "If the real me is a monster...

Tears of a beautiful summer
Orie was finally on the offensive. His wind blasts weren't doing much damage but they were strong enough to throw his opponent off balance and disorganize her attacks. He was able to close the distance bit by bit with each successful blast and every one of them hit. Before Natsumi could tell what was going on, Orie was standing directly under her. "White" orie said with a smile as he looked at her from below, then he spun his staff and struck the floor with it. Natsumi immediately turned to guard against it but no wind came from Orie's direction, it came from above and pushed her down. As Natsumi struggled to stand up, Orie began walking towards her and spoke. "I wondered why my prayers weren't working on you" "It would stop you for a brief moment then she'd take care of the rest by will power" "After this encounter, I think I finally figured it out" "The reason why my prayers don't work and who you are" "You are Natsumi" "You are not a spirit tha
