2023-04-20 18:34:29Three shots to the head. That was all it took for Orie to end the mage squad that was held in high regards in all of Freeland. It couldn't be called a battle, it couldn't even be called a face-off because they all lost their lives as soon as they set their eyes on him.
As soon as he had offed the mage squad, he set his sights back at Hughes. The commander who had just regained himself tried to run away but immediately got shot in both legs and fell. As the commander crawled in futility, the bringer of his death walked slowly behind him.
Meanwhile, Shiro had found himself lost in the middle of town.
"So what do now?" He asked himself as he paced around with Lighting speed.
"I mean..." He said
"...I had it down to the escape part but now I don't what comes next"
"I don't know where my friends are, I don't know where Genji is"
"How do I even...."
"STOP RIGHT THERE!!!" a voice yelled through a megaphone
"PUT YOUR HANDS IN THE AIR!!!" the voice yelled again as Shiro turned around to see who it was.
Shiro soon realized that he was so lost I thought that there was an entire croud around him and he didn't even notice. In the middle of that croud was Shiro surrounded by a remarkable number of police officers.
"What did I do?" Shiro asked the officer that was yelling at him.
"CAN'T YOU TELL?!!" The officer replied in his megaphone
"Oh man, these things hurt my ears" Shiro said to himself as he covered his right ear in an uncomfortable gesture.
"As a matter of fact" he said as he looked back at the officer
"I can't tell"
"Why don't you tell me"
"Urghh" the officer sighed, putting down his megaphone for a moment and bringing it back up to say...
"UNDER THE LAW OF THE GREAT NATION OF FREELAND, YOU ARE UNDER ARREST FOR PUBLIC DISPLAY OF SPECIAL ABILITIES!!"
"IF YOU DON'T COME WITH US QUIETLY, WE WILL BE FORCED TO MAKE DRASTIC DECISIONS"
"I ADVISE YOU SURRENDER PEACEFULLY, AND MAKE MY JOB A LITTLE EASIER"
"That sounds like a good idea" Shiro replied
"But the problem is" he said as the expression on his face turned menacing
"There's somewhere I need to be right now and would really appreciate it if you don't get in my way"
The air began to intensify, the lightning around Shiro began to spark more brigthly, his eyes glowed with pure light and everyone that saw him was filled with fear.
"We can't handle this on our own" the police captain said as he turned around to face his crew.
"Let's contact the special forces to take care of it for..."
Before he could finish talking, his men opened fire on Shiro and there was chaos everywhere. Every civilian around began to run for their lives as bullets started flying through the air.
"Hold your fire!!" The captain yelled
"HOLD YOUR FIRE!!!" He yelled through his megaphone but his men kept firing at Shiro who just stood there as the bullets stopped in front of him and fell down.
"Electromagnetism" Shiro said to himself
"Quite fascinating, don't you think?" He said as he looked at the officers shooting at him.
"Ohh" he said in realization
"You can't actually hear me" he said as he vanished from their sight.
"WHERE IS HE?!!"
"WHERE IS HE?!!!" the police men shouted in confusion but were interrupted by a louder yell.
"STOP IT!!" the captain yelled
"We're supposed to be questioning him not trying to kill him"
"We got new orders" one of his men replied.
"Lieutenant Hans" the captain said in disbelief
"All new orders are to pass through me" he said
"And nothing was relayed to me"
"A.J. Irons" Hans replied
"In adherence to orders from the headquarters of federal task force of Freeland"
"You are hereby releived of your duties as captain and as a police officer" He said as all the other offer turned to point their guns at Irons.
"You are to be held in one of our advanced holding facilities until you've been cleared of all suspicions"
"Thank you for your service"
"Hmm" Irons sniggered
"So that makes you the captain now" he said, looking at Hans
"Thank you for your service?"
"Isn't that the same thing you guys say to our soldiers before you f**k them over"
"If you want to tell me 'f**k you', you don't have to be polite about it"
"And if you wanted to arrest me" he said anger reverberating in his voice
"You should have brought more guns"
"DON'T MOVE!!" Hans yelled
"If you move, we will be inclined to use lethal force" he warned
On hearing those words, Irons just laughed. At first it was a slight chuckle but soon after, he began to laugh out loud.
"We all know you're going to shoot anyway"
"So why don't we just skip the formalities..."
"... and get down to business"
Not many of the police men heard all of what he said before they started shooting at him.
"These idiots never learn" Irons said to himself as he watched them shoot in futility
"Why would you go against a man without knowing what he can do"
"Didn't your encounter with that kid teach you anything?"
Shiro watched this drama unfold from a tall building nearby.
"Wow" he said as he watched the bullets stop before they could get to Irons.
"That guy stole my move"
"There's probably an interesting story behind all this" He said
"But there's somewhere I need to be right now" he said as he disappeared from the scene.
Irons knew the crime he was being charged with. It was for unauthorized use of special abilities. He had used his magnetic powers to save a girl from an incoming truck. He thought that he would be pardoned for his good deeds but apparently the law didn't give a damn about kindness.
"I tried so hard" he said
"and got so far as a law abiding citizen"

Suddenly, all the bullets that had stopped in front of him turned around and with a little gesture from his hand, they shot back with immense force and destroyed everything in the way.
"What now?" He asked himself as he walked away from all the destruction
