"Let the air bear witness"

"Let the earth bear witness"

"Let the sun bear witness"

"Let the morning bear witness"

"On this sacred day"

"We bind our lives"

"By flesh and blood"

"By mind and soul"

"By life and death"

"One shall not depart without the other"

"If one departs, the other shall follow"

"We seal this bond with the power of death himself"

"It cannot be shaken"

"It can never be broken"

As soon as Hanzo and Jade recited this spell, they were bound for life. If one of them was to die the other would follow immediately.

Even though they worked for the order where romance was highly prohibited and punishable by.... well no one knows exactly what happens to those who get caught except for the fact that they were never seen again, these two lovebirds were still brave enough to perform such an act.

   "So what now?" Jade asked

"We're now bound death but we are being separated in life" she lamented

"I know you're worried but you have to calm down" Hanzo said to her

"It's only for about two weeks and you'll be back in the kingdom"

"I'm pretty sure I'll still be here by then"

"Just focus on establishing our new safe zone while I protect the king and wait for you"

   "But I'm worried" Jade said

   "What if they find out?"

"Don't worry too much about it" Hanzo replied

"Even they do find out, there is no one among the among the Prophets that is as powerful as me"

"And if it is the two of us against anyone, we are unbeatable"

"If things get out of hand, we can always escape. Just like our predecessor, Mina"

"But I highly doubt they would find out"

"The only thing they know about what is going on here is that I'm sending off my subordinate on a mission, nothing more"

"So don't worry, just go on your mission and I'll be waiting when you return"

Jade heeded Hanzo's words and walked out the city gates to go on her mission while Hanzo made his way back to the palace to stay at the side of the king.

"What took you so long?" A voice asked as Hanzo entered the throne room, but he ignored it and kept on walking

"I asked you a question" the voice said again and Hanzo replied.

   "Just shut up" he said

"I already know it's you, Genji"

"I don't mind you and your silly games of hide and seek, just tell me the king is"

"In his chambers" the voice answered and Hanzo immediately went to see the king in his chambers.

As Hanzo approached the king's chambers, he was halted by a group of soldiers guarding the place.

"STOP RIGHT THERE!!" thier commander yelled

   "Who are you?" He asked

Hanzo was infuriated by the man's words. He lifted up his face and gave the commander a cold stare.

"Is that how you speak to a cardinal?" he said, as his fury flow with his words

"I'm sorry sir" the commander apologized

"We didn't know it was you"

"We would never disrespect the north cardinal" he said as he and all his men bowed to Hanzo.

"What is the emergency?" Hanzo asked, and the commander replied "we received an official declaration of war from the Yamato kingdom"

"The council has issued a state of emergency in all the cities, and a troop is being prepared to give the first strike."

"When did all this happen?" Hanzo asked

"Just a few minutes ago" the commander answered

   "Alright" Hanzo said

"Stay here and guar the outside"

"I'll be inside with the king"

   "YES SIR!!"

In truth, there was no declaration of war from the Yamato kingdom. It was just that the order had finished their preparations and were ready strike so they forged a declaration of war to set their plans in motion.

It was a nice beautiful morning with a bright sun and a clear blue sky. The guards at the walls of Yamato were chilling as usual when they noticed a horde approaching from afar at an incredible speed. They immediately blew the emergency horn and every civilian ran for their safety.

The soldiers were immediately assembled in front of the walls and were ready to intercept the enemy.

"GRAND ERUPTION!!" the ground breakers screamed as they unleashed thier joint technique on the incoming enemy. And from below, flames began shooting out from the cracks in the ground. The cracks got bigger and so did the flames, and it went on consuming their enemies until it was countered by another technique.

"GREAT SAND STORM". This was the technique performed by Dune of the red sand. As soon as he unleashed his his technique, there was a more intense sandstorm than anyone had ever experience in a desert and it swept through the enemy frontline and kept going.

The storm riders were quick to react, and they responded back with their own technique.

"STORM BREAKER!!" they yelled as they intercepted the incoming sandstorm and cancelled it out. But the enemy wasn't done. As soon as the storm riders cancelled out sandstorm, the were met with Zephyr's 'breath of hell', a wind that carried both darkness and pain.

As the Yamato army choked on Zephyr's wind, Hopper released her own technique "GREAT PLAGUE" and all forms of poisonous insects swarmed into the battlefield and began causing havoc.

At this point, Shin began to notice that his side was losing and he had to do something quickly. He dashed onto the midst of the enemy aiming to take down one of the Prophets. But before he could reach any of them, he found himself surrounded by a horde that impeded his advancement. He tried to fight his way through but as soon as he touched the first one, all the others around him exploded.

The Yamato army lost morale and retreated into walls of the fortress. They had suffered heavy casualties. Half of the deployed forces were dead and the ones that were left didn't escape injury and poisoning. It was a disaster. The enemy was way stronger than the expected and they had the advantage of numbers.

The Nihon army won the battle but they weren't satisfied. They wanted to completely wipe out their enemies so they advanced until they reached the walls of Yamato. Not even the defense system of Yamato's wall could hinder their advancement and soon, they got to the wall and set off an explosion that brought it all down.

They began wrecking havoc on everything they saw as they moved forward.

Meanwhile, in the field far away from the city, Shin had regained consciousness.

"well, Mr Addison" Ellie said as the camera faced Orie. "What are your thoughts on the current state of the match?" "I'm really not sure" Orie replied "To be honest, this is the first time I've seen Her like that so I don't actually know what to expect" "But if I had to take a guess..." "... I'd say I'm glad she wasn't like this in our match" Natsumi missed her first strike, and her second, and her third, and her fourth, and... all her strikes, she missed all of it. As it turns out, Kurobe had quite the reflex and was really good at evasion and keeping the distance. Every time Natsumi got close, he quickly evaded and put distance between them, pushing her back, attacking from blind spots, setting walls between them and a Whole lot of moves that prevented him from getting hit but that didn't stop his opponent from trying. With each passing second, Natsumi got closer to landing a hit on Kurobe. At first it was him feeling the little breeze as her fist fle

  • Cold hard truth

Many things can anger a fighter. An opponent that toys with them, someone that just won't stay down and in many cases, a direct insult. But none of those things were happening to Kurobe, he was facing something far more annoying; an opponent that isn't paying attention to him. At first glance, it looked like Kurobe was dominating the match without giving his opponent any chance to counter, but there were many times since the beginning of the fight where Natsumi would have been able to strike back but did nothing instead. She had barely moved from where she was standing at the start and she was in deep thought. All Natsumi did from the beginning of the match was to fend off the incoming attacks while thinking about what Orie had said to her. "I have finally seen your true self" "I finally know you" She couldn't muster up the courage to ask him what he meant because she was too afraid of his answer. She was afraid of the truth. "If the real me is a monster...

  • Tears of a beautiful summer

Orie was finally on the offensive. His wind blasts weren't doing much damage but they were strong enough to throw his opponent off balance and disorganize her attacks. He was able to close the distance bit by bit with each successful blast and every one of them hit. Before Natsumi could tell what was going on, Orie was standing directly under her. "White" orie said with a smile as he looked at her from below, then he spun his staff and struck the floor with it. Natsumi immediately turned to guard against it but no wind came from Orie's direction, it came from above and pushed her down. As Natsumi struggled to stand up, Orie began walking towards her and spoke. "I wondered why my prayers weren't working on you" "It would stop you for a brief moment then she'd take care of the rest by will power" "After this encounter, I think I finally figured it out" "The reason why my prayers don't work and who you are" "You are Natsumi" "You are not a spirit tha
