A new beginning

A new beginning

A childlike blue figure with a humanoid appearance was washing its face in a crystal clear river, mumbling some swear words in the process.

"What do I have that others do not possess? Why always me and no one else? Why do I have to carry these burdens all by myself…" balfrog was squatting by the river, busy complaining about his bad luck when he saw a giant body drifting slowly in the river.

He ignored the body at first, but his golden eyes flashed with a strange light when he saw the floating man move slightly.

"My luck is not that bad I think, hahaha…the river gods finally smiled at me. I finally found someone to shift all this bad luck to." Balfrog, with open arms, faced the sky and laughed like a mad man…ahem…a mad child.

Water splashed everywhere as he ran toward his God-sent helper.

When he finally got near him, he dragged the floating man ashore, with all the strength he could muster.

"Why is he this heavy? He doesn't look like someone from around here. I've seen elves and dwarves but I've not seen any creature with this kind of look." Confusion was written on balrog's face as he examined this strange creature's body with the little spiritual power left in his body.

"The village head might know something about his origin, let's first drag him to the village square first," Balfrog said while dragging the unconscious man along with his two little hands.

At the village square…

Three young 'children' with the same appearance as that of balfrog but different facial features stood on a high podium, facing a crowd of about a hundred colorful children below the stage.

A dark-haired child was standing in front of those young children, speaking in a language only God could understand.

All the little 'kids' were spotting different colors of hairs on their heads, ranging from black to silver.

They were all in the midst of whatever it is that they were doing before a young child was seen dragging a strange, grown-up man to the village square.

Balfrog approached the village entrance, sweating all over while dragging the strange man with both hands.

The little villagers were cheering and jumping for joy when the little guy 'balfrog' dragged in the unconscious man. Immediately they saw the man, the village square became eerily silent to the extent that if a pin should drop to the group you'll be able to hear the sound.

"Oh!! Who's this strange kid you brought here, balfrog? I've never seen any of his kind since the last time I went to town!!!" someone exclaimed from the crowd.

"shut up!! you shameless idiot, you just came back from the city not quite long and you made it seem like it's been a thousand years since you've last seen a human." Someone besides the first speaker smacks him on his head.

This village full of strange kids is non-other than the fidaik village and its inhabitants belong to a rare race amongst all the myriads of races in the whole universe, they all belonged to the race called the "blarf" race.

The blarf race is known for its mischievousness and its overpowered skills. When it comes to being mischievous and ruthless they always stay on top of the list.

They are a group of villainous little people with lots of bad deeds in their name…not until they offended a big shot who placed a curse on them and they lost their villainous nature and their ruthlessness became a thing of the past.

Since they take pride in doing bad things and the fear their victims have for them and the tears on their faces when looking at these little oppressors are like happy pills for these little people.

But now, no matter how much they tried to do evil, it'll always turn out to be a good thing for their "victims" and they come back with gifts to thank them for their good deeds.

No matter how hard they worked or how much they strived, their villainous nature became a thing of the past. But they didn't give up hope, one day, they'll surely be the villains they once were.

The black hair blarf jumped down from the podium and rushed to where the unconscious man was lying at a speed comparable to that of lightning. upon reaching there, he checked his whole body with his spiritual energy and searched every part of his body.

The black-haired blarf dismissed the crowd, and the crowd dispersed, except for a few individuals who seems to be the elders of this village full of slaves. Yes, you're right; the unconscious man they were all surrounding is non-other than our very own Daniel, who activated a teleportation device to escape from his assailants, the young man whose absence is the reason behind the war of the unknown swordsmen and the Sapa Nation's government.

"the heavens truly are merciful, it's been thousands of years since the prophecy was given…and it shall be fulfilled on this very day," the Black haired blarf said while trying to hold back tears from rolling down his face.

" what prophecy are you talking about, elder katuaf?" the only confused person amongst them, balfrog, asked the black-haired elder while looking at the faces of the other elders, including his father, in search of clues.

" My dear balfrog, you know the state of our blarf race now and everything that's been happening since when you were born…we blarf was not this weak since time immemorial, we were the strongest creatures on Earth and for that reason, we bully other races and dirtied our hands with all kinds of evil deeds, until we offended someone we shouldn't have offended…he took the grand ancestor as a slave and placed a curse on the whole race…fifteenth year after the incident, one of the seers of the race performed a divination and a glimpse of the future was shown to him…" balfrog's father answered him instead.

Cough!! cough!!

He cleared his throat and continued.

" in his vision, he saw a human Man brought to a nameless village by the heavens themselves and upon his arrival, all the problems of the barf race would be solved by him…"

"The seer said that the chosen one will have a mark of heaven on his body, and that is why we could recognize him as the chosen one." The village Head, elder katuaf said while pointing at the green tattoo on Daniel's left arm.

" that is the mark of heaven, I can feel the resonance of the spiritual energy of heaven and Earth with that strange mark.

I guess that is the source of his cultivation and it can never be destroyed by anybody, except for heavens itself…"

While the black-haired katuaf was speaking, Daniel woke up from his slumber to the sight of eight blue-skinned aliens staring at him curiously.
