Chapter: *An* *Unexpected* *Guest*

Parker immediately somersaulted in the air and landed, blood streaking out of the corner of his lips, an unmasked fear covered his expression. His internal organs was almost out of place and the tremendous force was still rattling through his body, Parker quickly steadied his breathe and regulated his internal energy to suppress the force, causing his face to turn almost pale blue.

However, Sharon and Roy Kent fared worse, they laid on the ground, almost unconscious and bleeding from all orifices, especially the newly recovered Roy, his breathe was ragged but he managed to keep his eyes and consciousness active by biting his bottom lips deeply till blood dripped downwards, further staining his robes.

The explosion kicked off a blinding dirt and dust, leveling the surroundings into nothingness, after the dust had settled, Syrie's figure appeared very distinct and less hazy than it was when the dust covered everywhere. A gigantic wall of flames shot up into the skies, smearing the already destroyed terrain with it's heat, increasing the temperature by several degrees, surprisingly, there was not a speck of dust or injury or blood on Syrie, infact, apart from his constantly changing expression and mysteriously powerful radiation of condensed energy rolling off him, one might not even know, he had just suffered an attack.

Parker's eyes widened with shock, Parker knew quite well, that he was a top qualify cream of the crop Silver ranker although not yet half step or at the absolute peak but he knows that apart from a gold ranker, there's not much people that can actually stand grounds with him especially when he goes all out, he was one of the best in his generation and although, he wasn't widely regarded as an absolutely monstrous genius, that title belonged to someone else in the clan but he was definitely in the top 30 strongest in the younger generation but even he was badly injured and if not for his adept mastery of his clan's starry art, he would have been like Sharon and Roy.

But seeing, Syrie coming out unscathed despite taking majority of the force of the blast, then he couldn't help but wonder what kind of terrifying clan does Syrie come from and the worse part is, he doesn't look much older than them, although most practitioners can suppress their age and remain youthful for a long time. Parker quickly placed Syrie and the terrifying clone of the president on the same level and he's quite sure, he hasn't even seen a tip of Syrie's abilities. But if Syrie can be this powerful then their attackers must be---

"Well, Well, well.. If it isn't Syrie Milburn" A strange yet enchanting voice sounded out, it sounded like it came from everywhere but nowhere.

A group of green robed people comprised of men and women walked over, the defacto leader being a fair skinned man with a tall forehead, the bridge of his nose long and straight as a snowy mountain. His eyes were long and narrow, as were his proportionate eyebrows, and he had a delicate yet seductive aura.

However, Syrie and Parker didn't dare underestimate him. The fair skinned man radiated a deep and unmeasurable aura that came not from his appearance or outlook but his innate constitution. They were escorted by a withered looking old man, he practically had no facial muscles anymore, looking like a withered corpse under the sun rays, his eyes looked faxed, the eyeballs completely motionless.

"Syrie Milburn? What are you doing here?" The man old man asked in a horse voice, as if he had not spoken in a long time, shortly after the strange voice.

Syrie's facial muscles twitched uncontrollably.

"Taking worldly experience, sixteenth Elder Emeka!" Syrie took a mouthful of breathe and steadied his emotions, his slightly worried eyes turned almost as pitch black as the night sky without the moon and stars.

The fair skinned man let out a pearl of laughter, traces of mockery and contempt could be heard within it.

"Worldly experience? Sounds like you're taking a vacation here" The man shook his head

"Why did you attack me earlier ruthlessly? Can't be a mistake, yes?" An imperceptible flicker flashed across Syrie's eyes.

There was no need for a story, Parker could already sense the tense atmosphere building up between the two parties, it was quite clear, Syrie and this unknown people have a huge animosity and they're most likely from the same sect or clan, judging from the insignia pinned on their chest, it had the same character as the ones just recently seen on Roy and Sharon's robes.

"Hahahaha, I thought I saw an imposter with our family's insignia and I decided to apprehend the person, you know, there's alot of fools masquerading as a member of our family these days, can't blame me for that" The fair robed man chuckled, his words hinting something.

Almost immediately, Syrie's expression grew dark, his muscles were trembling slightly, it took quite a while for him to calm himself.

The fair skinned robed man noticed these changes and a sinister smile cut across his face, a noticable glee could be seen in his eyes as if he had gotten the desired results of his words.

"I see but couldn't you have investigated enough before attacking? What if I was injured, eh?" Syrie's voice grew deeper and thicker, traces of anger wasn't hidden within it.

"Hehehehe, but you weren't, if you were, you could only blame your lack of ability" A terrifying glint flashed across the man's eyes.

The archaic looking man cleared his throat

"Well, Mr Milburn, you shouldn't be outside the clan at this perilous times and for worse, in this backwater place, I suggest you return to the clan" On the surface, it made sound like a suggestion but deep within, it was more of an order.

Syrie stepped forward and cupped his fist

"I'm still gaining worldly experience and my time hasn't elapsed, and don't worry, Elder Emeka, like you said, this is a backwater place, so no harm can come to me except I intend it to" Syrie bent his back in an almost 90°, his voice tone was polite atleast compared to the way, he addressed the fair robed man.

Elder Emeka chuckled and waved his hand, following in tandem was dazzling golden door that radiated incredible might.

What is this?!! Even my internal energy has grown so sluggish, it can barely move.

Parker's eyes widened with shock, even clone of the president didn't casually or forcefully suppress his internal energy, the only person he could think of doing that was his father but his father was a peak expert in the gold rank and even his father would have to make an considerable amount of effort to suppress his internal energy yet just the aura radiating from this mottled looking door casually suppressed his internal energy to the point, he could barely circulate a thing. To say he was terrified was an understatement.

"Syrie, you and young Adebayo are now tasked with looking for a certain item, as for the details, Eric will fill you in" Elder Emeka's voice still rang in the air after he vanished into the door.

The golden door faded as well, leaving Eric and Syrie in a standoff, the former had an arrogant smirk on his face, the latter's expression was dark.
