Bang!

Gerald's head slammed heavily onto the ground, making a dull sound as he passed out.

The blood-red light on his body also disappeared. Dora and the others from the Blackwood family were all stunned, looking at Zayn in confusion.

A sinister martial artist...

Is that it?!

Zayn was also shocked, his mouth wide open and unable to speak.

He was sure that Gerald had already reached the level of inner strength when he used his secret technique.

But even though Gerald was so powerful, he couldn't withstand a single blow and was knocked down by Lux Arden.

There was only one explanation left.

"Grandmaster! A master of the True Energy realm!" Zayn exclaimed in shock, ignoring the surprised looks of the others.

He knelt down and bowed to Lux Arden. That was the etiquette that a martial artist should show to a grandmaster.

After all..

Under the grandmaster, all are ants!

The people of the Blackwood family looked at Lux Arden with suspicion as they followed Zayn's gaze.

Lux Arden lifted Gerald, who was lying on the ground, and slapped him hard.

"Speak!"

Gerald was awakened by the pain, his eyes filled with anger as he stared at Lux Arden.

"Kid, let me go. I admit that you are strong, but the Black Dragon Society is not something you can provoke!" But Lux Arden slapped him again before he could finish speaking.

"You.."

Before Gerald could say anything, Lux Arden slapped him several more times.

"What are you?!"

Upon seeing the situation, Gerald quickly waved his hands and begged for mercy.

"Don't... don't hit me, l'll talk!"

"The Black Dragon Society recently purchased a large number of loan contracts at a discounted price, which led to a tight cash flow. So, they set their sights on several wealthy people in Marlowe."

"But the young master heard that a big shot in Marlowe will come out soon, so he asked us to act low-key. That's why we came up with this scam to get medical fees." However, Lux Arden still had a stern face after listening.

"Did I ask you about this?" Gerald was stunned.

"Huh? Aren't you asking about the Blackwood family?" Lux Arden coldly said,

"Stop pretending to be stupid. You already recognized me just now, right? What about the guarantee contract? Why did you target Salome?" Gerald trembled at the words and hesitated on his face.

It was clear that Lux Arden raised his hand again and immediately spoke up.

"It's... because of a woman..." Lux Arden looked puzzled.

"What woman?"

"She's a woman who appeared out of nowhere three years ago. Her name is Georgia, and no one knows where she came from."

"But since she appeared, the young master has been obedient to her. With her ideas, the entire Black Dragon Society has been thriving and developing rapidly."

"After seeing those loan contracts, that woman was very aggressive and insisted that the young master must take down a woman named Salome Monroe,"

"Why did she want to go after Salome?"

"It is said... it is said that it's to go after her sister, Ava. She didn't say what their grudge was, but the only goal is to make Ava suffer." Upon hearing this, Lux Arden's face turned as cold as steel.

In the past three years, he had never heard Ava mention this woman named Georgia.

Based on his understanding of the Thompson family, with their kind and gentle demeanor, it was unlikely for them to have any conflicts with others.

Lux Arden was filled with questions and asked, "Where is this woman now?" Gerald quickly replied, "I don't know.

She's always been secretive and elusive. Even the young master's recent whereabouts have been uncertain.

He went overseas some time ago and hasn't returned yet.

Lux Arden didn't believe him at all and slapped Gerald across the face again, causing him to see stars.

"How could you not know?" he demanded.

Gerald was on the verge of tears and pleaded, "I really don't know, please don't hit me." Seeing that Gerald didn't seem to be lying, Lux Arden slapped him unconscious with one hand.

He took out his phone and tried to call Sage, but couldn't get through, which gave him a sense of foreboding.

Ignoring the Blackwood family, he hurried towards the door. Andrew Blackwood quickly caught up and said, "Mr. Lux, where are you going? I'll drive you." Lux Arden nodded and got into the car with Andrew Blackwood.

First Hospital of Marlowe City.

Sage was following Lux Arden's orders and guarding Amelia's hospital room.

The Thompson family now had to be treated with the highest level of security, according to the Sentinel's wife's orders.

To be safe, Sage borrowed some manpower from the Public Security Bureau.

The First Hospital was surrounded like an iron bucket, not even a fly could get in.

Many patients and their families were frightened by this sudden situation, guessing which big shot had come to the hospital.

Sage stood straight as a javelin in front of Amelia's ward, with a solemn expression and no intention of communicating with other members of the Public Security Bureau.

At this moment, one of the Public Security Bureau members whispered to his colleague, "l need to go to the bathroom, watch my back."

As soon as he turned the corner of the stairs, he was thrown back and hit the wall hard.

No sound.

His colleague was shocked to see what had happened.

He was about to go and check on the skinny man's condition when he saw a dark figure emerge from the corner of the stairs.

It was a burly man, as strong as a black bear.

"Stop! Who are you!"

The Public Security Bureau members pulled out their batons and were on high alert.

"Ambrose."

The burly man grinned, revealing his terrifyingly white teeth like a wild beast.

Before the Public Security Bureau members could react, Ambrose snapped their necks.

With each punch Ambrose threw, one Public Security Bureau member fell to the ground.

In no time, all of them were knocked down. Just as Ambrose was feeling proud of himself, Sage moved like a flash of lightning and rushed to Ambrose in an instant.

Then he threw a punch, hitting Ambrose in the chest. Ambrose was forced back by the punch, and then he charged towards Sage without saying a word.

Their fists were swinging like a storm, and after hundreds of punches, Ambrose was slightly inferior and was knocked out by Sage with a punch.

He struggled to stand up, roared, and a bloody light appeared on his body.

Salome reluctantly suppressed his displeasure and replied, "Yes, she's a college classmate of mine, in the same major. It's been a long time since we last met." "But it seems like she's not very friendly towards you. Do you have any grudges between you?" Suzzy asked further. Salome hesitated for a moment and replied, "Not really, we just had some competition during the major evaluation in college. She lost to me a few times and was a bit resentful." "l just didn't expect that after all these years, she still holds a grudge." When Suzzy heard this, a strange color flashed in her eyes, and the smile on her face became even more intense and inexplicable. "Okay, the interview is about to begin. You shouldn't chat here anymore. Go and prepare." Suzzy clapped her hands and dispersed the crowd a

Ava was so angry that she couldn't do anything about Amelia's unreasonable behavior. She knew that no matter what, Amelia wouldn't return the card to Lux Arden today, so she didn't bother to pay attention to Amelia anymore. She took Lux Arden's hand and entered her room, slamming the door shut. Amelia was So anxious when she saw that Ava was alone with Lux Arden in the room that she started to panic. However, no matter how loudly she shouted outside the door, Ava refused to open it. Amelia was so angry that she almost went crazy and fell to the ground, rolling around. But after making a scene for a while, Amelia realized that it was useless since Ava remained unmoved. She got up from the ground and her eyes darted around as she thought that although she couldn't do anything to Ava, it was easy to deal with Lux Arden. So she shouted at Lux Arden outside the door, "Lux Arden, let me tell you, don't mess around! If you dare to touch Ava, I will kick you out of t

Lux Arden felt a warm feeling in his heart when he heard Ava's concern for his safety. However, to avoid worrying her too much and being blamed for his recklessness after knowing the truth, he decided to lie. "Oh, I was just eager to help save Salome. When the fire brigade arrived, I went to help move the fire equipment. The fire is almost extinguished now, so they didn't need me anymore, and that's why l came back." Ava let out a long sigh, pinched Lux Arden's sleeve that had been burned black, dusted off the smoke on his hair, and relaxed her expression. "You really scared me. I thought you went into the fire alone to save Salome. Do you know how worried I was? I was afraid you wouldn't come back." "Fortunately, Sentinel God King appeared and saved Salome. Now that you're back safely, it's a close call, and I can finally relax a bit." Lux Arden frowned at the mention of "Sentinel God King." He didn't expect everyone to give him such a title. However, he didn't care to

Upon hearing this, Selma frowned slightly and said, "Come on, Mr. Joe, it's nothing serious. Don't make a big deal out of it." Mr. Joe, he housekeeper, retorted with a serious expression, "Miss, how can you say it's not a big deal? You are the young lady of the prestigious Bowen family! You were trapped in a fire and almost died. How can that be considered a small matter?" "Next time, you can't go out alone. You must have bodyguards accompanying you!" "Let's go back to the mansion now. We need to call all the renowned doctors in Marlowe to have a consultation and make sure there are no hidden dangers." The Thompson sisters realized the identity of the stunning woman in front of them. In the entire Marlowe city, only the first family, the Bowen family, could have such a grand scene and casually use a private helicopter. The woman in front of them must be Selma Bowen, the apple of the old patriarch's eye and the Bowen family's young lady who was praised as a goddess by the

Two stunning beauties, with despair on their faces, were driving Lux Arden away, having completely lost the courage to continue the struggle. They were ready to accept their fate calmly. However, Lux Arden frowned and whispered, "Don't give up so easily. We will definitely find a way to escape." The beautiful woman shook her head tearfully and replied, "What else can we do? Jump off the building? It's more than twenty floors high. Even if the fire department puts out safety airbags, it won't help. We are at a dead end." She burst into tears again. However, this simple sentence awakened Lux Arden. Because Ava had once said that she didn't want to be besieged by the media and just wanted to live a peaceful life. Therefore, Lux Arden had been thinking only of rescuing people discreetly, avoiding exposing his identity and using force. But the situation in front of him was extremely critical, and he couldn't afford to hold back anymore. Moreover, with his current appe
