"Are you one of these ancient martial warriors?" Sage exclaimed in surprise.

But Ambrose paid no attention to Sage and charged forward for another round of fierce attacks.

Sage shouted back and fought back against Ambrose. Their fists swung like a violent storm, leaving nothing but destruction in their wake.

After hundreds of punches, Sage, who had yet to cultivate his inner strength, was defeated and sent flying by Ambrose's punch to his abdomen.

He spat out blood.

Ambrose was also clearly not feeling well, gasping for air. At this moment, a man who looked quite similar to Elliott Kane emerged from behind Ambrose's burly body.

"Lux Arden's subordinate? Not bad."

"But is it worth risking your life for that trash?"

"Why not be my subordinate instead?" Sage sneered at the offered olive branch.

"Who are you? You're not even worthy to be compared to Master Lux!" The man's smile instantly disappeared from his face.

"Then you can die." He gave a signal to Ambrose, who immediately began to attack Sage, who was already seriously injured.

The man walked past the dying Sage, who tried to stop him but had his arm broken by Ambrose's foot.

The man sneered at Sage, who was now silent, and kicked open the door to Amelia's hospital room.

The Thompson family mother and daughter were scared out of their wits by the previous fight, huddled together trembling.

The man sneered and walked up to Ava, admiring the stunning beauty before him and couldn't help but exclaim, "Famous for good reason, you truly are as beautiful as a flower and as delicate as jade, with a face like a fox spirit."

Ava stood in front of Amelia and Salome, forcing herself to remain calm as she said, "Who are you? This is my mother's hospital room, please leave!"

The man replied, "Smith Kane. You must have heard of my older brother, Elliott Kane." Ava's expression froze as she angrily retorted,

"Of course I've heard of him, he's the one who drove my sister to jump off a building. I will never let him off the hook in this lifetime."

"I don't care why you're here today, but I have nothing to say to you. Please leave immediately, or I will call for help!" Smith Kane sneered,

"Who do you plan on calling? Security? The Public Security Bureau? Or that useless guy named Lux Arden?"

"He killed my older brother and is probably on the run by now." The mother and daughter were both shocked to hear this.

They never expected that Lux Arden would actually go and kill someone because of Amelia's casual remark.

He was so crazy about being with Ava that he went to such extremes!

After speaking, Smith Kane turned to Ava. He reached out his rough right hand and forcefully pinched Ava's delicate face, as if she were just a toy.

"You are his beloved, after all!" Ava angrily slapped away Smith Kane's right hand, raised her head defiantly, and glared at Smith Kane.

Smith Kane glanced at his right hand that had been opened and rubbed it casually on his body.

Then, he suddenly raised his hand and slapped Ava's face, knocking her to the ground.

"Sister!" Salome exclaimed, shaking his wheelchair and rushing towards Smith Kane.

But Smith Kane heartlessly kicked him over, and the whole person was pressed under the wheelchair.

Amelia watched her two daughters fall to the ground and instantly turned into an angry mother lion.

She grabbed a fruit knife from the table and stabbed towards Smith Kane.

"l'll fight you!"

Smith Kane easily took the fruit knife and slapped Amelia, sending her flying and crashing into the wall, her life hanging by a thread.

"Mom! Salome!" Ava struggled to stand up and hurried towards her mother and sister.

But Smith Kane grabbed her hair and dragged her back. "Don't worry, I won't kill you until I catch Lux Arden. I still need you two to lure that cowardly turtle out."

"I want him to watch his beloved woman die in front of him, helpless and unable to do anything. I want him to feel how cruel it is."

"I want him to know how powerless, how humble, and how insignificant he is."

"Only in this way can I pay tribute to my brother's spirit in heaven!" After speaking, he picked up Ava and dragged Salome out of the ward.

Lux Arden and Andrew Blackwood rushed back to the First Hospital as quickly as possible.

Looking at the ground covered with members of the Black-x team at the entrance, they felt a sense of alarm.

Lux Arden rushed up the stairs and found that Sage had fallen in a pool of blood.

He quickly took out a silver needle and used the Seven Star Life-Saving technique to barely save Sage's life.

He rushed into the ward like a madman, only to find that the two sisters from the Thompson family were nowhere to be found, and only Amelia was lying unconscious on the floor.

Lux Arden woke up Amelia and asked, "Mom, what happened? Where are Ava and Salome?"

Amelia was in a daze and weakly replied, "Smith Kane... he took Ava and the others away. Quickly... go save them..."

After hearing this, Lux Arden's killing intent surged like a solid substance.

After a thunderous roar, he disappeared without a trace.

Andrew Blackwood, who arrived later, also learned the whole story. He trembled and took out his phone to call the Blackwood family and other high-ranking officials.

After answering the phone, Knox Blackwood and Anthony, among others, were stunned and couldn't help but think the same thing in their hearts.

The sky over Marlowe... has collapsed!

Several of Joyce's companions joined in with sneers, looking down at Salome with unfriendly eyes. At this moment, Suzzy curiously asked Salome,"Salome, is she an acquaintance of yours?" Salome reluctantly suppressed his displeasure and replied, "Yes, she's a college classmate of mine, in the same major. It's been a long time since we last met." "But it seems like she's not very friendly towards you. Do you have any grudges between you?" Suzzy asked further. Salome hesitated for a moment and replied, "Not really, we just had some competition during the major evaluation in college. She lost to me a few times and was a bit resentful." "l just didn't expect that after all these years, she still holds a grudge." When Suzzy heard this, a strange color flashed in her eyes, and the smile on her face became even more intense and inexplicable. "Okay, the interview is about to begin. You shouldn't chat here anymore. Go and prepare." Suzzy clapped her hands and dispersed the crowd a

Ava was so angry that she couldn't do anything about Amelia's unreasonable behavior. She knew that no matter what, Amelia wouldn't return the card to Lux Arden today, so she didn't bother to pay attention to Amelia anymore. She took Lux Arden's hand and entered her room, slamming the door shut. Amelia was So anxious when she saw that Ava was alone with Lux Arden in the room that she started to panic. However, no matter how loudly she shouted outside the door, Ava refused to open it. Amelia was so angry that she almost went crazy and fell to the ground, rolling around. But after making a scene for a while, Amelia realized that it was useless since Ava remained unmoved. She got up from the ground and her eyes darted around as she thought that although she couldn't do anything to Ava, it was easy to deal with Lux Arden. So she shouted at Lux Arden outside the door, "Lux Arden, let me tell you, don't mess around! If you dare to touch Ava, I will kick you out of t

Lux Arden felt a warm feeling in his heart when he heard Ava's concern for his safety. However, to avoid worrying her too much and being blamed for his recklessness after knowing the truth, he decided to lie. "Oh, I was just eager to help save Salome. When the fire brigade arrived, I went to help move the fire equipment. The fire is almost extinguished now, so they didn't need me anymore, and that's why l came back." Ava let out a long sigh, pinched Lux Arden's sleeve that had been burned black, dusted off the smoke on his hair, and relaxed her expression. "You really scared me. I thought you went into the fire alone to save Salome. Do you know how worried I was? I was afraid you wouldn't come back." "Fortunately, Sentinel God King appeared and saved Salome. Now that you're back safely, it's a close call, and I can finally relax a bit." Lux Arden frowned at the mention of "Sentinel God King." He didn't expect everyone to give him such a title. However, he didn't care to

Upon hearing this, Selma frowned slightly and said, "Come on, Mr. Joe, it's nothing serious. Don't make a big deal out of it." Mr. Joe, he housekeeper, retorted with a serious expression, "Miss, how can you say it's not a big deal? You are the young lady of the prestigious Bowen family! You were trapped in a fire and almost died. How can that be considered a small matter?" "Next time, you can't go out alone. You must have bodyguards accompanying you!" "Let's go back to the mansion now. We need to call all the renowned doctors in Marlowe to have a consultation and make sure there are no hidden dangers." The Thompson sisters realized the identity of the stunning woman in front of them. In the entire Marlowe city, only the first family, the Bowen family, could have such a grand scene and casually use a private helicopter. The woman in front of them must be Selma Bowen, the apple of the old patriarch's eye and the Bowen family's young lady who was praised as a goddess by the

Two stunning beauties, with despair on their faces, were driving Lux Arden away, having completely lost the courage to continue the struggle. They were ready to accept their fate calmly. However, Lux Arden frowned and whispered, "Don't give up so easily. We will definitely find a way to escape." The beautiful woman shook her head tearfully and replied, "What else can we do? Jump off the building? It's more than twenty floors high. Even if the fire department puts out safety airbags, it won't help. We are at a dead end." She burst into tears again. However, this simple sentence awakened Lux Arden. Because Ava had once said that she didn't want to be besieged by the media and just wanted to live a peaceful life. Therefore, Lux Arden had been thinking only of rescuing people discreetly, avoiding exposing his identity and using force. But the situation in front of him was extremely critical, and he couldn't afford to hold back anymore. Moreover, with his current appe

Ava was so angry that she couldn't speak, trembling all over. She pushed Calista hard, but she didn't budge. Instead, she pushed her to the ground and spat, "You lowly bastard, you still want to fight with me? Just lie here and wait for retribution!" With that, she turned around and walked away in anger. Ava was furious and tears streamed down her face. She hated herself for being so weak that she was dragged out by Calista and left Salome in danger. She instinctively reached out her hand, waiting for Lux Arden to help her, but in the next moment, she was horrified to find that Lux Arden had disappeared. "Lux Arden!" Ava shouted his name hoarsely, as if going crazy, wanting to rush into the fire. But she was stopped by the security guards and later dragged to the safe zone by the firefighters who had finally arrived. At this time, Lux Arden had already rushed into the thick smoke of the mall. Due to the explosion and fireworks, the visibility was extremely limited, a
