Saibot started to analyze the aspects where he was insufficient during these two battles.

A long time later, Saibot inhaled deeply and lowered his head to look at his leather pouch. A strange light then gleamed in his eyes.

“Rock Head was moving about alone because he wanted an item from Centuriox. So, he was preparing to counter-hunt me and take away the item belonging to Centuriox from me.”

Saibot opened his leather pouch and poured everything belonging to Centuriox out, including the spirit coins. He then arranged the items before him.

His gaze swept through the items, and he examined them closely.

Ultimately, he eliminated the possibility of all other objects and stared at the metal plate. He frowned and couldn’t be sure.

In reality, Centuriox’s items were all very common. Hence, this metal plate could be considered to be somewhat out of place and unknown when compared to the other items.

“Is it this item? But there doesn’t seem to be anything marvelous about it. Could this be a very valuable ingredient?”

Saibot pondered as he kept it carefully.

He prepared to find a chance in the future to find out about the origin of this item.

After that, he took out Rock Head’s leather pouch and inspected it.

There were no white pills inside, but there were plenty of spirit coins. Saibot also found many bottles of poison.

However, since he didn’t know the art of poison, he didn’t dare to carelessly open them.

Finally, he took out the amber that was filled with cracks, recalling the appearance of that fatty who was clutching it before he died.

“What’s this item then…it seemed that the fellow was about to crush it before he died.” Saibot was puzzled. He felt that he lacked the relevant knowledge, so he put it away after thinking about it.

After he finished doing all these, he closed his eyes and continued to cultivate.

During these few days, Saibot discovered that after he broke through to the second level of Qi Condensation, the duration of his sleep didn’t need to be as long as in the past. He would be able to regain his energy in just roughly two hours of sleep.

So, he spent the vast majority of his time immersed in his cultivation.

Moreover, because he didn’t have any targets he needed to follow today, he cultivated even longer. In fact, he cultivated the whole day.

However, when the night just descended, Saibot sensed something, so he opened his eyes and looked outside his house.

The moment he glanced over, he heard Litcht’s voice coming from there.

“Kid, come to the courtyard.”

Upon hearing this, Saibot sat up and silently walked over as he looked at Litcht who was in the courtyard.

There was a large table in the courtyard with some meat dishes and wine. Moreover, there were a total of six chairs and six sets of chopsticks and bowls. Litcht was sitting there, and he waved his hands at Saibot when he saw him.

When Saibot swept his gaze across the table and sets of tableware, he had a guess in his heart. He then walked over lightly and sat beside Litcht.

“Have you gotten familiar with the campsite during these few days?”

Litcht glanced outside the courtyard. His attitude was casual as he spoke to Saibot.

“Relatively so,” Saibot replied. His gaze then swept past the food on the table.

Maybe it was because he had cultivated for an entire day, or maybe the fragrance of the food was too tempting, Saibot soon felt his stomach making grumbling sounds.

Litcht who was at the side laughed when he heard it.

“Don’t rush, wait for them.”

“Are we waiting for the people from the Lightning Arrow Team?” Saibot had long since guessed some things in the past. Hence, he took this opportunity to ask about it.

The old man nodded and just when he was about to speak, he seemed to sense something and turned his gaze outside.

At the same time, Saibot also sensed the same thing and followed his gaze.

Outside the courtyard, in the dim streets, the figure of a burly man appeared.

This burly man’s muscular figure even surpassed Bam.

His entire person was like a small mountain, and the muscles of his body were extremely pumped, emitting a compelling aura.

He carried a gigantic fine steel shield on his back and a mace that was even taller than Saibot in his hand. He was striding over with large steps.

The ground reverberated with each heavy footfall, drawing nearer until a towering figure loomed outside the bamboo gate.

As the gate swung open, the imposing presence of the large man filled the courtyard, seemingly shrinking its space.

Saibot felt as if he faced a formidable beast in a desolate city, his eyes narrowing in apprehension.

"Leader, I'm back," the large man greeted Litcht with a muffled voice, his eyes lighting up at the sight of the food on the table.

Without hesitation, he discarded his shield and mace, settling into a chair with a creak that suggested it strained under his weight. Ignoring Saibot completely, he waited silently.

Litcht chuckled but said nothing, while Saibot eyed the discarded shield and mace. Judging by the sounds earlier, he estimated their weight far surpassed his own.

Soon after, amid the courtyard's quiet and the murmur of the streets beyond the gate, two figures emerged—a man and a woman.

The man, adorned with a longbow, bore a cross-shaped scar on his face, his sharp gaze piercing.

The woman, dressed in tight leather, exuded a primal allure despite her ordinary appearance.

After greeting Litcht, they took their seats, the man casting a scrutinizing glance at Saibot while the woman adopted a playful tone.

"Leader, we went on a short trip. How did you manage to acquire an extra child?" she teased.

"You're old but still going strong, huh, leader? Don't tell me you've been hiding a secret offspring from us all this time?"

Nodding, Saibot began applying the silt without hesitation. He glanced at Luan Tooth, sensing her expertise in poison techniques.Litcht continued, explaining their journey's intricacies. "Learn what you can. We jump over certain spots because decomposed leaves indicate an absence of beasts. Areas we traverse have beast feces, signifying safety. Detours avoid dangerous scents detected by Barbaric Ghost's keen nose."Barbaric Ghost grinned at Saibot, acknowledging his gaze."The silt contains night lizard skin, masking our scent and instilling fear in other creatures," Litcht concluded, his body fully coated in silt. Litcht kept on, unraveling the complexities of their expedition. "Absorb what you may. We leap over certain areas due to decayed foliage, marking a lack of beasts. Paths we tread bear signs of animal waste, indicating security. Detours sidestep perilous odors detected by Barbaric Ghost's acute sense of smell."Saibot finished his preparations. Despite its oversized appearance on his small frame, he felt a warmth that surpassed his previous attire, making him content despite the mismatched appearance.Although eager to search for Rock Head, Saibot paused when he heard a commotion outside the campsite. Fire Possoms poured out, drawn by the arrival of a convoy of horse carriages, likely traders or buyers of the seven-leaf grass used in white pill concoction. Despite the spectacle, Saibot's focus remained on Rock Head, whom he followed discreetly. As the bustling market

Some were browsing through the items for sale, some had their heads lowered as they contemplated, and some were bargaining. Two among them, one skinny and one fat, seemed to be part of a group. The fat guy had a rotund figure, while the skinny guy had a horse-like face. Their attitudes were unyielding, and spirit energy fluctuations that weren’t weak radiated from them. One of them was currently scolding the little girl as though he was very unsatisfied with her answers. As the little girl anxiously apologized, Saibot began to check out the merchandise in the shop.Things were the same as what he had guessed. This place was a general goods shop.
