07: Flying monster

  " What just happened?" Xavier thought confused

" I thought they are tagged as the most respected, behaved and most powerful, or maybe I saw someone that looks like them"

" Why did they try to bully someone they don't even know"

" What are you thinking?, The wizard is dead , "A voice said in his head

" I don't care, he deserves to die but did he die gruesomely or just died on a low-key"Xavier replied

" He died gruesomely but not the death you want for him though, "The voice said and sighed

" Stop sighing in my head and reveal yourself" Xavier hissed

"It's not yet time to show myself, I will soon come to Mainland High school though, "The voice said with mixed emotions revealing in his voice

"That's good but how can I even recognize you?" Xavier asked

" Can we leave this conversation till then, when I get to Mainland you will know"The voice said and yawned

" Go and sleep," Xavier said and shut him up

" I knew the wizard won't last 49 days since he decided to become a traitor, "Xavier thought to himself and lay on the bed

"Stop thinking about it, he is dead already you can't kill him again, "His mind said

" But I can still torment his spirit " Xavier smiled

" You should stop thinking about doing anything to him or else you want to have a share in his eternal punishment"The voice came back

" I thought you are asleep already" Surprised Xavier said

" Your stupid thought disturbed my sound sleep, "The voice said sleepily

" I just feel pained for not witnessing his death" Xavier replied

" You can still time travel back to yesterday so you can travel to witness his death"The voice hissed and cut out the conversation letting silence take over.

"Are we not going to get to the City today, it's getting far already" Maria cried as they have been running since

"We haven't even gotten to the last rock talkless of getting to the border and then the city," Selina said and sat down under a very big strange looking tree

"Won't you leave under that tree, the tree looks scary" Maria said eyeing the tree

" This is the only tree I can rest under without the birds disturbing me" Selina answered yawning

" Well I won't join you in sitting under that tree"Maria shake her head and sat down under a smaller tree beside the big tree

"I'm hungry" Selina yawned again this time more loudly

"You can face that tree and eat some branches" Maria savaged rolling her eyes

" I'm not a goat" Selina replied taking Maria's savageness as normal

"You are no different from a goat though" Maria muttered to her hearing only

"What did you say" Asked Selina but Maria denied of not saying anything

After two minutes of resting under the tree a strange bird was howling.

"Did you hear that?" Selina snapped her eyes open looking around like a lost puppy

"I can't hear anything it's just the normal sound of an owl" Maria replied not opening her eyes to look around

"Maria see!!!" Selina screamed and jumped up, Maria opened her eyes and screamed after Selina too, They ran as fast as their legs could take them.

They didn't even bother to know where they were heading as they continued running like the scary flying monster was still chasing after them and of course, it was still after them as they trespassed.

"It is still after us" Maria screamed putting more speed

"Mommy!!" Selina shouted as she fell and rolled down a hill landing inside a mud water

Maria shouted Selina's name as she ran after him rolling down the hill also into the mud.

The flying monster stopped at a certain place and looked around when he couldn't smell them or saw them vanish away.

"Is it gone?" Selina asked as she felt silence taking over

"I think it is," Maria said standing up from the mud

"Let's go home before anything else starts appearing, "Selina said trying to teleport home but it seems her power isn't working

"Why is my teleporting power not working?" Selina wondered and keep trying to teleport

"I think we can't, let's just walk away quietly without making any noise," Maria said and walking through a path slowly as the mud on her body was getting washed off by nothing in particular

"Should I just agree to go to the school" Drake thought

" I don't feel like going to that school"

" You dare not disagree, You must go to the school, "Autumn said

" Why are you disturbing me?, Stop mind-linking with me you don't always say something reasonable through mind linking"Drake spat

" I called your line more than five times but you didn't pick up and I know that you are contemplating whether you want to go or not"Autumn shouted

" Stop shouting, village girl, You want to spoil my eardrum right? "Drake shouted back

" As civilized as I am if you are still calling me a village girl that means you are from a whole "Autumn replied satisfied with her reply

"On a serious note you need to go, it contains supernaturals of all kinds and it can also help you to know how to control your powers more and also discover your hidden powers," Autumn said hoping to target statement could convince him

"I will go" Drake replied

"I'm so happy" Autumn jumped up in happiness

" Yeah yeah so stop talking and get going," Drake said gently

" I won't go, I won't go"Autumn sang

"Stop talking pest" Drake shouted frustratingly

" That's why I'm your sister" Autumn laughed

" I can disown you from being my sister if care is not taken" Drake hissed

" I love you too brother," Autumn said and cut off the mind link

"Such an annoying pest" Drake sighed as he slept comfortably on his bed

"What happened? Why are you breathing heavily?" Grace asked seeing as her sister rushed in

"I'm just a little bit exhausted nothing more" Selina replied rushing into her room

"Maybe she went to do something bad and they beat her who knows"Grace laughed at her stupid thought

"I should sleep, it's late already," She said and looked at the mirror with a wicked smile on her face before going Into her room.
