Henry raised quickly, he glanced at his surrounding before he faces Jeremy.

“How long have I been here”

Jeremy clean his tears.

“Two days, you have been sleeping for two days. We thought you were never going to wake up”

Henry's eyebrows moved a little, he thought he was out for twelve days, thank goodness, it was just two days.

What a crazy dream he had.

He checked his wristwatch and his level was still in one.

Henry chuckled, he thought he will see something different. He actually wished it wasn't a dream.

“Is something wrong”

Jeremy's voice wakes Henry from his worried thought. Henry stands up and faces Jeremy.

“Where is my father. My sister should be here”

his dad is a police officer, he is always busy even though his pay is tiny.

The monster hunters are the ones earnings big, their job is to eliminate any monster that comes close to the protective wall.

Cherry City is closest to the wall due to it creation, although the military has assured that no monster can break the wall, but people are still afraid.

that is why Cherry City is the poorest among the four cities, only recently did better amenities started showing up.

Jeremy rubbed his palms as he stares at the floor.

“You were in the hospital for two days, the doctor said you were dead, it's only a miracle that you're still breathing”

Henry's fingers moved, he forgot about him being in the hospital, his family barely had money to feed, let alone pay hospital bills.

“Where is my family”

Jeremy faced Henry.

“Mr Dawson house. Your father borrowed some money from him, according to the deal. He is supposed to pay a month time, but Mr Dawson suddenly wants the money now”

Henry's fist squeezed as Jeremy continues.

“They went there to plead with him”

Henry sprint out of the room, he didn't wait for Jeremy's next words, he was already furious.

Mr Dawson is the richest man in Bloom area, his mom works as a maid in his house but she is constantly abused and treated like a nobody.

He can't believe his family borrowed money from those scumbag.

His tears drop slowly, he glanced at his body and there were no scars or wounds.

This is probably mage healing. His family must've used everything to keep him alive.

There was a garden before the main door. Henry was thinking of what to say when he reached there, but he doesn't have a job, how will he pay back the money

He knows Mr. Dawson's plans, he probably wants his father's land, rumors say, JS company will be coming to Cherry City soon and that lands fits their criteria.

He can't let them have it. That is the only hope his sister has for walking.

Henry stopped when he heard Derek's voice. He is Mr Dawson son, same age as him, but he is a B rank awakened.

Henry's heart seized immediately. He prayed his mind was lying to him. He rushed to the direction and the unimaginable was happening.

Lora was lying helplessly on the floor, her wheelchair was thrown some distance away from her.

Henry's breath vibrates seeing Derek stepping his foot on Lora's face.

“Cripple. That is what you are!”

Henry's rage exploded, he walked to Derek and tapped him on his shoulder.

“How dare you”

Henry punched him hard on his face, the impact stumbled Derek to the ground.

He couldn't believe the powerful punch from Henry, and he wasn't expecting it, that is why he fell to the ground.

Derek stands up with a deadly look, this loser dare to hit him.

“Here comes the cripple brother”

Henry didn't listen to him. He squatted and touched Lora's face.

“Lora, are you okay”

Lora cheeks moved seeing Henry.

“I knew you weren't dead, they say….”

she couldn't finish her words due to the emotional tears on her face.

“It's okay. I am fine now. I won't let anybody touch you”

Henry stands up and faces Derek.

“don't you dare touch my sister again”

“And you will do what”

they stare at each with bloodshot eyes.

“You won't like my actions”

Derek's eyebrows pushed together, this loser seem to be forgetting who he is addressing.

His lips curves a half smile as a thought entered his brain.

He should just beat the asshole to the ground, then he watch him break his sister piece by piece.

“Step out of the way E boy. I am not done teaching this cripple manners”

Henry's voice was deep and deadly.

“Don't call her that again. I am warning you for the last time”

Derek stepped closer to Henry.

“I said. Cripple!!!”

Henry's fist tightened, he saw himself smacking Derek to the ground, but he couldn't in the real world.

Derek is a B ranked fire mage. he will be stupid to fight him, and that is what Derek wants.

Henry faces Lora. He should help her up.

Immediately Henry changed view. Derek launched his attack.

“Firefist!!”

Flame cover in Derek's right hand and he smashes it on Henry's middle.

“Brother!”

Lora cries out.

Derek froze seeing his attack had no effect on Henry. It felt like he hit Henry with his bare hands.

Henry grips Derek's collars.

“You asked for it”

He sends his fist to Derek's face.

Derek's panic immediately, he wonder what was happening, his magic was supposed to blow Henry away, but it didn't have any effect. how come it had no effect, his heart drum seeing Henry's fist coming.

“Enough!!”

Mr Dawson stopped Henry from making the impact.

“How dare you try to hit my son”

he faces Mr Tucker.

“Is this how you plan to repay my kindness, by sending your son to my house to fight”

“No, Mr Dawson, there has to be a misunderstanding here, Henry is a good boy”

he already knows what was going on, but he can't support or defend Henry.

Mr Dawson's face harden.

“I want my money now. I am not taking this loser as a servant or your daughter. What good can a cripple do anyway”

Mr Tucker falls to his knees.

“Mr Dawson, please we agreed on this already, I will stay and work here, while my family fetch the money”

“And I said you are useless. I don't want anything but my money”

Mr Tucker bows his head on the floor, he knows Henry has lost his job, where are they going to get the amount

“Show us mercy Mr Dawson, my family condition is terrible, give me more time or the initial time we agreed on. I swear, I will provide the money”

Derek step to Mr Tucker with a water bottle in his hands. Henry has humiliated him, he must pay him back.

he pours the water on Mr Tucker's head.

“Beggar”

he smirked looking at Henry.

Henry's heart was kicking, his family is suffering this because of him, because he messed up. His sister is on the floor being bullied, and this scumbag dare pour water on his father.

He hates the Dawson family, but he can't do anything, they are rich and powerful, but that doesn't give them the right to treat others like a trash can.

“I want a duel!!”

Henry's voice shakes the surrounding, everybody turned to face him.

“I challenge Derek Dawson to a duel. If I win, the debts are cancelled and Mr Dawson will pay my academy fees”

Mr. Dawson smiled, this fool must be insane, even a C ranked mage won't dare challenge a B ranked mage, let alone an E ranked mage.

“And if you don't”

Henry's fist tightened.
