Henry rose quickly. He glanced at his surroundings before facing Jeremy.
“How long have I been here?”
Jeremy wiped his tears.
“Two days. You have been sleeping for two days. We thought you were never going to wake up.”
Henry's eyebrows moved slightly. He thought he had been out for twelve days. Thank goodness, it was just two days.
What a crazy dream he had.
He checked his wristwatch and his level was still at one.
Henry chuckled. He thought he would see something different. He actually wished it was not a dream.
“Is something wrong?”
Jeremy's voice pulled Henry out of his thoughts. Henry stood up and faced Jeremy.
“Where is my father? My sister should be here.”
His dad is a police officer. He is always busy even though his pay is small.
The monster hunters are the ones earning big. Their job is to eliminate any monster that comes close to the protective wall.
Cherry City is closest to the wall due to its creation. Although the military has assured that no monster can break the wall, people are still afraid.
That is why Cherry City is the poorest among the four cities. Only recently have better amenities started appearing.
Jeremy rubbed his palms as he stared at the floor.
“You were in the hospital for two days. The doctor said you were dead. It is only a miracle that you are still breathing.”
Henry's fingers twitched. He had forgotten about being in the hospital. His family barely had money to feed themselves, let alone pay hospital bills.
“Where is my family?”
Jeremy faced Henry.
“Mr. Dawson's house. Your father borrowed some money from him. According to the deal, he was supposed to pay in a month, but Mr. Dawson suddenly wants the money now.”
Henry's fist tightened as Jeremy continued.
“They went there to plead with him.”
Henry sprinted out of the room. He did not wait for Jeremy's next words. He was already furious.
Mr. Dawson is the richest man in the Bloom area. His mom works as a maid in his house, but she is constantly abused and treated like a nobody.
He could not believe his family borrowed money from those scumbags.
Tears fell slowly from his eyes. He glanced at his body and saw no scars or wounds.
This is probably mage healing. His family must have used everything to keep him alive.
His tears fell even more. He dashed into the mansion compound.
There was a garden before the main door. Henry thought about what to say when he got there, but he did not have a job. How would he pay back the money?
He knew Mr. Dawson's plans. He probably wanted his father's land. Rumors said JS Company would be coming to Cherry City soon, and that land fit their criteria.
He could not let them have it. That was the only hope his sister had for walking.
“Cripple. Cripple. I said it again. What can you do?”
Henry stopped when he heard Derek's voice. He is Mr. Dawson's son, the same age as him, but he is a B rank awakened.
Henry's heart seized immediately. He prayed his mind was lying to him. He rushed toward the voice, but the unimaginable was happening.
Lora was lying helplessly on the floor. Her wheelchair had been thrown some distance away.
Henry's breath shook as he saw Derek stepping on Lora's face.
“Cripple. That is what you are!”
Henry's rage exploded. He walked up to Derek and tapped him on the shoulder.
“How dare you?”
Henry punched him hard in the face. The impact sent Derek stumbling to the ground.
Derek could not believe the strength behind Henry's punch. He was not expecting it, which was why he fell.
Derek stood up with a deadly look. This loser dared to hit him.
“Here comes the cripple's brother.”
Henry ignored him. He squatted and touched Lora's face.
“Lora, are you okay?”
Lora's cheeks trembled as she looked at Henry.
“I knew you were not dead. They said...”
She could not finish her words because of the tears streaming down her face.
“It is okay. I am fine now. I will not let anybody touch you.”
Henry stood up and faced Derek.
“Do not you dare touch my sister again.”
“And what will you do?”
They stared at each other with bloodshot eyes.
“You will not like my actions.”
Derek's eyebrows furrowed. This loser seemed to be forgetting who he was talking to.
His lips curved into a half smile as a thought entered his mind.
He should beat this fool to the ground, then watch him as he breaks his sister piece by piece.
“Step out of the way, E boy. I am not done teaching this cripple manners.”
Henry's voice turned deep and cold.
“Do not call her that again. I am warning you for the last time.”
Derek stepped closer to Henry.
“I said, cripple!”
Henry's fists clenched. He imagined smashing Derek to the ground, but he could not in the real world.
Derek is a B rank fire mage. It would be foolish to fight him, and that was exactly what Derek wanted.
Henry turned to Lora. He needed to help her up.
The moment Henry shifted his attention, Derek attacked.
“Firefist!”
Flames covered Derek's right hand as he slammed it into Henry's stomach.
“Brother!”
Lora cried out.
Derek froze when his attack had no effect on Henry. It felt like he had hit him with his bare hand.
Henry grabbed Derek by the collar.
“You asked for it.”
He threw a punch toward Derek's face.
Panic filled Derek's eyes. He did not understand what was happening. His magic was supposed to blow Henry away, but it did nothing. His heart pounded as Henry's fist came closer.
“Enough!”
Mr. Dawson stopped Henry before the punch landed.
“How dare you try to hit my son?”
He turned to Mr. Tucker.
“Is this how you plan to repay my kindness? By sending your son to my house to fight?”
“No, Mr. Dawson, there must be a misunderstanding. Henry is a good boy.”
He already knew what was going on, but he could not support or defend Henry.
Mr. Dawson's face hardened.
“I want my money now. I am not taking this loser as a servant or your daughter. What good can a cripple do anyway?”
Mr. Tucker fell to his knees.
“Mr. Dawson, please. We agreed on this already. I will stay and work here while my family gathers the money.”
“And I said you are useless. I do not want anything but my money.”
Mr. Tucker bowed his head to the ground. He knew Henry had lost his job. Where would they get the money?
“Show us mercy, Mr. Dawson. My family's condition is terrible. Give me more time, or the time we initially agreed on. I swear, I will provide the money.”
Derek stepped toward Mr. Tucker with a water bottle in his hand. Henry had humiliated him, and he needed to get his revenge.
He poured the water over Mr. Tucker's head.
“Beggar.”
He smirked at Henry.
Henry's heart pounded violently. His family was suffering because of him, because he had messed up. His sister was on the ground being bullied, and this scumbag dared to pour water on his father.
He hated the Dawson family, but he could not do anything. They were rich and powerful, but that did not give them the right to treat others like trash.
“I want a duel!”
Henry's voice echoed through the area. Everyone turned to look at him.
“I challenge Derek Dawson to a duel. If I win, the debt is cancelled, and Mr. Dawson will pay my academy fees.”
Mr. Dawson smiled. This fool must be insane. Even a C rank mage would not dare challenge a B rank mage, let alone an E rank mage.
“And if you do not?”
Henry's fists tightened.
“Take our land.”

These humans are bastards
Lora was shaking in her spot when Diego turned to face her. She subconsciously stepped backwards in fear, and an evil smile crept onto Diego's face.He said as he slowly approached Lora.“There is no need to step backwards, little lamb. There is nowhere you can run to that I can't run to as well. I know you are afraid of dying, but that was your fate the moment you were born as a human being. If you were born as monster, that would've been different. You would've been strong and immune to death.Your friend over there fought a good fight, but he still ended up dying.”Diego stopped approaching and continued.“Monsters do die, so you don't think am not being obvious of the hundreds of monsters that have died on this very ground, but just as hundreds of monsters have died on this floor, over a million humans have died on this ground as well.So you can see that the numbers are not worth an argument. The monsters that fell into the hands of humans are simply the ones that couldn't work

She had to save him.Helen slowly tried to stand up and her body was emitting a large form of hot stream. As she stood up back to her feet, she almost fell to the ground again, but she managed to stand completely on her feet.“I must save Henry”Helen said as she squeezed both of her fist hard and she turned to face the direction the giant worm that had swallowed Henry was.Her vision was blurry when she faced the direction and it became clear in an instant.Helen felt total silence in the premises at that moment. She held her breathing and focused all her energy in her ears, she was trying to
Our Source Of Strength!
Ava straightened up on her spot at that moment. She had practically just frozen time. Her freezing skill caused everything under her territory to be unable to move, unless the thing had a stronger aura than her.Although Helen was strong, she was stronger than Helen and she wanted Helen to realize that before killing her. Freezing Helen was one of them, the second was killing Helen without Helen being able to do anything. The dark blades on the sky started circling at that moment and with each passing second they were circling faster than before.“This is what true power really looks like Helen, it's not about pushing yourself back to your feet, it's about being in control of everything and never for once falling to your knees!”The moment Ava said the words. She snapped her fingers towards Helen.“You tried to attain something you are not, but are still just a human being. This is where it ends human creation!”The dark blades instantly covered Helen at that moment. Helen did freeze
The superior Being Always Wins
According to everything this human should be dead already. Ava couldn't believe what was happening in front of her. Helen was standing fully despite the large wounds on her stomach, and Ava could tell that Helen had several broken bones inside her body, not to talk about the amount of blood Helen had lost.It was too true to believe in Ava's eyes. To her Helen had developed into something else.Something that scattered all her ideology and calculation about humans to the ground.“There is no way I am giving up in this lifetime!”Helen coughed out a mouthful of blood as she took a different stance from the one she took when she stood up.“Water control: a million slashes!”Immediately Helen triggered the skill, the whole surroundings started experiencing a shock wave, that even Ava subconsciously stepped backwards out of fear. She stood when she noticed that she just stepped backwards out of fear and her eyes burst open in shock. Not only was Helen able to stand up to her feet, she ha

Ava's smiling face had disappeared at this moment. Instead she had a face of astonishment. Given Helen's wounds, she should
I Refuse This Ending
‘This can't be the end, not after everything I have been through. I refuse this ending. I refuse to accept this ending’ ‘My life can't end this way!’ Helen tried to stand up to her feet once more, but she fell to the ground again. She had been beaten to a pulp by the monster, Ava, who was standing right in front of her. ‘Shit!’ Helen cursed as her body let her down once more. She fell flat on the ground when she tried to stand up again. Her hands couldn't support her motion anymore, and her legs were vibrating inside. There was no way she would be able to walk on her feet even if she was to stand up halfway. Helen buried her face on the ground at that moment. ‘I don't accept this. I don't accept this at all. BUT MY BODY WON'T MOVE!’ She said with tears streaming down her face. ‘I reject this! I reject this ending! BUT THERE IS NOTHING I CAN DO!” “Why, Why, Why, WHY! WHY DOES IT ALWAYS HAS TO BE LIKE THIS!’ ‘I am an S ranked mage for crying out loud. How could I still be bow
