Position At Work

Cole did not know what to say to what Martins had just suggested. He would like to think of it as a suggestion because he was definitely not expecting him to be his driver.

But he did not have a choice, did he?

Gulping hard and looking ahead into the distance, he let out a deep breath as he turned back to Martins who had a smug smile on his face. Cole felt like punching it off with his fist but instead, with flared nose and tamped down ego, he raised his chin and stared at Martin. “Sure.”

Martin’s grin widened when he heard this. He pulled out the key and handed it over to him. “You drop me off first. Then you can go to where you are going.” He said.

“No, this place I am going to is nearer than yours so I will drop your car and you can find your way.” With that said, Cole stepped into the car and revved up the engine, making some noise in the process.
