Judy stood beautifully tall and villainous
Though she was already forty-three years old, her youthful appearance easily made her look twenty-five. Beneath that beauty, however, was a cruel heart—especially whenever it came to someone poor like Cyan. She had been standing quietly at a corner, watching everything unfold while struggling to suppress her anger. But Cyan’s words had completely pushed her beyond her limit. That was why she couldn’t stop herself from landing another vicious slap across his face. Grabbing Cyan by the collar, Judy glared fiercely at him and shouted, “You are the most shameless person I have ever seen in my entire forty-three years of life! I can’t believe you actually have the audacity to question my precious daughter for being with Mr. Stone!” Her grip tightened around his shirt. “Can you even provide a fraction of what he can provide? Do you have any idea how wealthy and influential he is? That man is ten times better than you in every way, Cyan. So you’d better think carefully before trying to challenge him!” Cyan scoffed coldly before forcefully pulling himself free from her grip. “So because he’s rich, your daughter decided to choose him?” he asked with a dark chuckle. “Oh yes… that’s exactly the reason.” A slim but energetic voice suddenly answered from nearby. It was Brittney—Stella’s younger sister. Folding her arms across her chest, she confidently walked toward Cyan. “For over fifteen years, you’ve been leeching off our family’s wealth,” she said mockingly. “We picked you up when you were nothing but a helpless little boy. We fed you, clothed you, and took care of you.” “You even dropped out of school, and now that you’re old enough to become a family man, what did you turn into? A useless live-in son-in-law. So tell me, why shouldn’t my sister leave you for another man?” Cyan said nothing. Meanwhile, Stella smirked proudly from where she stood. Seeing Cyan humiliated this badly filled her with satisfaction, and deep down, she wished she could hurt his pride even more. With joy flashing in her eyes, she slowly walked over to Felix. She gently placed a hand on his chest before kissing him passionately, deliberately winking at Cyan afterward just to provoke him further. Cyan’s anger increased! At that moment, it became painfully obvious that they were treating him like a complete fool because they believed he was powerless and incapable of doing anything. The anger inside him burned even more fiercely, but Stella simply didn’t care. The smile on her face slowly faded as she turned back toward Cyan. “What was that question you asked me again?” Stella said mockingly. “What does Felix have that you don’t have?” Cyan nodded slowly. “Well, I could’ve ignored that question and moved on. But no… I’ll answer it for you.” As she spoke, she began walking toward him step by step. “Felix is a billionaire,” she declared proudly. “He has billions of dollars at his disposal. And do you know something even more important?” She pointed proudly toward Felix. “He helped me secure a partnership with the WASTON Group. The WASTON Group is the biggest fashion designing company in this country, Cyan, and Felix was the one who made that contract possible for me. Now tell me honestly… if it were you, would you have been able to do that for me?” She scoffed before answering the question herself. “No! You wouldn’t have!” “You’re nothing but a burden in this family. All you know how to do is eat and sleep. That’s all you’ve ever been good at!” As Stella’s furious voice echoed through the hall, Cyan fell silent. His eyes darkened with anger as countless memories of humiliation flooded his mind. For more than fifteen years, this family had treated him this way. Fifteen long years. And at that moment, something inside him finally began to break. Cyan sniffed softly, holding back the tears gathering in his eyes as he lifted his gaze toward Stella. “You once said you were the one who begged your grandfather to save me when you found me in that stream… right?” he asked quietly. Stella nodded without hesitation. "Of course, Cyan. I was the one!" It didn’t matter to her that it had all been a lie. That was the story she had fed Cyan from the very beginning—that she was the one who convinced her grandfather to rescue him from the stream. And because of that lie, Cyan had loved her with all his heart. But why was he suddenly bringing it up now? Cyan stared deeply into her eyes. “I want you to tell me the truth, Stella,” he said painfully. “Did you ever love me?” His voice trembled slightly. “Look into my eyes and tell me honestly… was there ever a moment when you truly loved me? I don’t want lies anymore. Just the truth.” Stella shrugged indifferently. “You really want the truth?” Cyan nodded again. “Fine then,” she replied coldly. “I’ll tell you.” “I never loved you.” The words struck like a knife. “I was never in love with you, Cyan. I only married you because it was my grandfather’s dying wish. Nothing more.” The moment those words left her mouth, Judy immediately snatched the papers from Cyan’s hands and threw them directly at him. “Here!” she barked harshly. “Stop asking stupid questions and sign the divorce papers already!” The instant Stella heard her mother say that, she burst into laughter. “You’re asking Cyan to sign the divorce papers?” she mocked. “Of course he won’t!” She folded her arms confidently. “This is literally the one hundred and first time I’ve asked him for a divorce, and every single time, he refused. Do you honestly think he’ll sign this one? Never!” “And who told you that?” Cyan’s voice suddenly rang out the moment Stella finished speaking. For the first time, his tone sounded firmer and more confident than ever before. “Who told you I wouldn’t sign the divorce papers?” he asked coldly. “And what makes you so certain that I won’t?” The confidence in his voice instantly shocked Stella and the others. “Of course I know you won’t, Cyan," Stella scoffed. “My family is the only thing you have in this world.” “You don’t know who your mother is. You don’t know who your father is. You don’t even have a real identity. So there’s no way you would ever sign those papers.” Then she smirked arrogantly. “And in case you’ve forgotten, I’ve thrown divorce papers at you over a hundred times before, and every single time, you refused to sign them. So I believe this one will end exactly the same way as the...." Stella hadn’t even finished speaking when Cyan’s voice suddenly echoed through the hall. “If that’s what you believe then I’m sorry to disappoint you… because today, I’m putting an end to all of this.” The smile on Stella’s face slowly faded. She folded her arms tightly and stared at him in confusion. “What do you mean by ending all of this? “What exactly are you trying to do?” She demanded But Cyan didn’t answer her immediately. Instead, he calmly reached into his pocket and pulled out a pen. “For the past fifteen years, I’ve lived in this house like a complete fool. I had no identity, no achievements, nothing to my name, and all of you never stopped humiliating me.” His eyes swept across the crowd. “I endured every insult, every humiliation, and every painful word simply because of the love I had for you, Stella. In fact, you handed me divorce papers over a hundred times, and every single time, I refused to sign them because I loved you too much to let you go.”. “But what did I get in return?” His eyes locked onto Stella. “You cheated on me with another man simply because I’m poor. Well, today, all of that finally comes to an end.” Everyone stared at him in anticipation. Then Cyan raised the divorce papers slightly and declared loudly, “Right here, in front of everyone, I—Cyan Sean—am officially ending my marriage with Stella Rogers. I finally accept the divorce. And from this moment onward, this marriage is over.” The guests gasped quietly, covering their mouths with their hands. Before anyone could react, Cyan placed the pen on the papers and signed his name without hesitation. After signing the papers, Cyan lifted them and tossed them directly toward Stella. “Here you go, Stella Rogers, the divorce you asked for one hundred times… I finally agreed to it on the one hundred and first time.” “This marriage is over.”Latest Chapter

As Felix threw those annoying words at Cyan, his voice slowly faded into the distance as Stella grabbed him by the arm and dragged him away.Judy, on the other hand, picked up the snack in her hand and hurled it straight at Cyan.“Ugh!”The snack struck his chest before falling to the ground.Judy hissed angrily and stormed away without giving him another glance. The only person whose attitude was quite different was Britney.Rather than acting tough toward Cyan like the others, she simply shrugged and gave him a careful smile. There was something about that smile that made Cyan pause. If he wasn't mistaken, it was filled with hidden motives. But instead of thinking too deeply about it, Cyan brushed the thought aside. He looked around at everyone still staring at him and shrugged casually.“Show is over! Can we all go now?!”Without waiting for anyone to say another word, he grabbed the necklace he had just purchased and started walking away.Everything that had happened that day remi

That question was a tough one.Especially because it was coming from Stella, the very person who had set up the challenge in the first place.Hearing her ask him whether they should go through with it or not only fueled the anger boiling inside Felix. He couldn't understand how she could even ask such a question after everything that had happened.Angrily, he stared at Stella, his mind filled with resentment.“It's all because of you that all of this is happening. If you hadn't shoved yourself into this and involved me in kneeling before this loser, none of this would be happening!” he cursed silently in his mind, his anger continuing to build as Stella held onto him.“Did you say something, my love?” Stella asked.Felix immediately shook his head.“No... no, my love. I didn't say anything.”He quickly dismissed the thought before finally answering the question Stella had asked.“I will see what to do about this animal!”Unable to imagine himself apologizing to a man he believed he wa

Those words alone that came from Cyan's mouth weren't what surprised Stella. What left her eyes wide open was the POS machine sitting there in front of everyone, the same machine that had just beeped and announced, “Payment successful!”Her lips wouldn't stop quivering as hot sweat began rolling down her face. She slowly shook her head.“No… no! It can't be real. It can't be possible!”Her memories came rushing back as countless possibilities began striking her mind all at once. This was impossible to believe. How is this… how is this possible? she asked herself repeatedly. How can it even be possible for Cyan to pay that amount? One billion dollars? The amount was simply too much. It wasn't the kind of money that just anybody could walk up and pay without thinking twice. And to make matters even more shocking, this was the same man who had been incredibly poor when they were married. In fact, he was supposed to be so poor that even if he wanted to afford something, one thousand dolla

Hearing what Felix had challenged Cyan to do, everyone present couldn't help but scoff.Stella and her family members, especially, were delighted by the challenge Felix had thrown at Cyan. They were convinced that Cyan was far too useless to ever come up with a billion dollars, and with Felix now demanding that amount from him, they were certain it would be nearly impossible for him to prove himself.Seeing that she had finally found a way to escape going down on her knees and apologizing to Cyan, Stella let out a loud scoff before turning to him.“Aren't you going to give up already, Cyan?” she asked, letting out a low, deliberate chuckle.“This whole situation is already stacked against you, and both of us know very well that you can't afford a billion dollars! Are you really going to keep holding on to your stupid delusion that you're actually going to pay off that amount?”Stella's lips curled into a mocking smile as she stared at him, clearly expecting Cyan to back down.“My sist

Everyone in the auction hall was stunned.Felix stood frozen, his eyes widened in complete disbelief.Judy could do nothing but shake her head repeatedly."One... one billion dollars?"The amount was simply unimaginable. But to Cyan, it meant nothing. He calmly crossed one leg over the other as a faint, mysterious smile curled across his lips.On the stage, even the auctioneer had to swallow a large pint of spit before finding his voice again."O-Okay..."He took a deep breath and forced a professional smile onto his face."The MPU MODEL-Z Necklace has been auctioned for one billion dollars to Mr. Cyan Sean!"He raised the auction hammer."Going once!""Going twice!""Going thrice!""Gone!"BANG!The hammer struck the podium.A thunderous round of applause erupted throughout the auction hall.At that very moment, Felix shot to his feet."This is bullshit!"he roared, the veins on his forehead bulging with rage.He simply couldn't comprehend what had just happened.Nearby, Britteney re

The moment Cyan said those words, every pair of eyes in the hall turned towards him.Stella slowly looked him up and down, disbelief written all over her face.Judy let out a dark scoff.Meanwhile, Britteney nearly dropped the glass of wine in her hand before marching over to where Cyan was seated. She stopped in front of him, glaring at him with undisguised contempt."Excuse me, Cyan. What the heck do you think all of this is?"She swept her hand across the auction hall."Do you seriously think this is some kind of joke? Do you think everyone here is playing around with you?" She pointed an accusing finger at him. "For your goddamn information, this is an auction, for crying out loud! Yet you have the audacity to raise your paddle and start blurting out nonsense?"Cyan did not even spare her a glance.Instead, his eyes remained fixed on the auctioneer, completely ignoring Britteney as though she did not exist. The blatant disregard only made Britteney's anger boil even more. She roll
