005. STOP

The moment Cyan said those words, Stella’s mouth fell open in shock.

Judy slowly shook her head, never expecting to hear something like that from Cyan. Even Brittney stared at him in disbelief, as though she was trying to confirm whether it was truly Cyan standing there or someone else entirely wearing his face.

Was he really ending the marriage?

Stella shook her head repeatedly, refusing to believe it.

She had expected Cyan to react the same way he always did whenever she serves him divorce papers— drop to his knees, beg her not to leave him, and start making endless promises about changing into the perfect husband she wanted.

She had served him divorce papers over a hundred times in the past, and every single time, Cyan ended up pleading desperately with her. But this time… he didn’t.

Instead, he had actually signed them.

Was this truly happening?

“Yes, Stella,” Cyan said calmly, almost as though he had read her thoughts. “This is real.”

Stella scoffed.

Although she was deeply shaken by the fact that Cyan had accepted the divorce, she quickly masked her shock with an exaggerated expression of indifference.

“So you’ve finally decided to be a good boy now, huh, Cyan?” she mocked. “At last, you accepted the divorce and ended this marriage?!”

She paused and slowly looked him up and down with cold eyes.

“Let me ask you one question, Cyan. I hope you’re not joking around with these divorce papers, because you should get this straight into your head—once this divorce is finalized, nothing in this world will ever make me take you back as my husband!”

Cyan nodded without hesitation.

“Of course, Stella,” he replied calmly. “Before signing the papers, I read every single term and condition carefully. I understand everything written in them.”

“So now that our marriage has officially come to an end, I believe there is absolutely nothing on this planet that could ever make us get back together again—”

Before Cyan could complete his words, Judy suddenly threw her handbag at Cyan, cutting his words short.

Fuming with rage, she stormed toward him, grabbed him by the ears, and shouted, “You ungrateful animal! You make decisions without thinking twice, huh? I hope you realize you have nobody to take care of you!”

Her grip tightened as her voice rose louder.

“You have no father, no mother, and you don’t even know where you truly come from. In case you’ve forgotten, let me remind you—you were picked up from a stream! A river!”

“You have no identity, Cyan! My daughter and I have fed you, clothed you, and tolerated you for years, yet you dared to sign the divorce papers?”

She sneered coldly. “Tell me, where exactly does a useless nobody like you plan to go when you don’t even know who you are?”

Anger flashed through Cyan’s eyes.

Unable to contain Judy's words, he forcefully pushed Judy’s hands away from his ears and straightened himself.

“I may not know my identity, but I would never continue living with a woman who has done nothing but cheat on me!” Cyan said firmly

“For over fifteen years, I loved Stella with everything I had. I served this family loyally all those years because I believed I had finally found a home… a family. But I was wrong. All of you are nothing but a bunch of ungrateful animals.”

Then his gaze slowly shifted toward Stella who was stroking Felix's beards with no remorse.

“And as for your daughter…” he said coldly before pausing. “I will never accept spending the rest of my life with a PROSTITUTE like her.”

The smile on Stella’s face disappeared immediately she heard ‘prostitute’, and even her hand froze on Felix’s beard.

“Did you just call me a prostitute?!” she screamed.

Cyan nodded boldly without the slightest fear.

“Yes, Stella. You heard me perfectly well.” He replied. “You are nothing but a shameless slut, and I regret ever loving you. Right now, every single feeling I once had for you is completely gone.. And remember this clearly, Stella. You will regret everything that happened today.”

His fists clenched tightly.

“For twenty-five years, I lived like a dog serving the Rogers family, and for three miserable years, I endured a one-sided marriage with you. But all of that ends today.”

Then he looked directly into Stella’s eyes one final time.

“Once again, Stella… you will regret it all.”

Having said that, Cyan turned around and started walking away.

The moment he did, Stella’s anger exploded completely.

She could not endure the humiliation Cyan had just caused her, nor could she allow him to walk out so proudly after insulting her in front of everyone.

So just as Cyan was about to step out of the banquet hall, Stella’s furious voice thundered behind him.

“STOP!”

That question was a tough one.Especially because it was coming from Stella, the very person who had set up the challenge in the first place.Hearing her ask him whether they should go through with it or not only fueled the anger boiling inside Felix. He couldn't understand how she could even ask such a question after everything that had happened.Angrily, he stared at Stella, his mind filled with resentment.“It's all because of you that all of this is happening. If you hadn't shoved yourself into this and involved me in kneeling before this loser, none of this would be happening!” he cursed silently in his mind, his anger continuing to build as Stella held onto him.“Did you say something, my love?” Stella asked.Felix immediately shook his head.“No... no, my love. One billion dollars? The amount was simply too much. It wasn't the kind of money that just anybody could walk up and pay without thinking twice. And to make matters even more shocking, this was the same man who had been incredibly poor when they were married. In fact, he was supposed to be so poor that even if he wanted to afford something, one thousand dolla

Are you really going to keep holding on to your stupid delusion that you're actually going to pay off that amount?”Stella's lips curled into a mocking smile as she stared at him, clearly expecting Cyan to back down.“My sist
